1. The HOLD hill feature for the brakes is now not working. After the first software update it started to work but now since the second recent software update, the "hold" feature stopped working and the car slides backwards causing me to slam on the brakes creating extreme safety concerns for myself (the driver and my daughter who I don't allow in the car anymore). There were no warning lights for this problem which occurred when I bought the car before the first software update and again after the most recent update. The manufacturer no longer exists to check our cars which are supposed to be under warranty. I do not trust my safety or anyone elses in this car anymore. 2. Electrical system- (All summer 2024) the car overheats and stops working completely when the temperature is in the high 90's. The car loses power and slows down to...
September 25th 2024 1600 hrs. Returning home from the grocery store, coming to a complete stop in heavy traffic at a traffic light the vehicle shifted into park by itself and turned off by itself, effectively disabling itself and leaving me stranded at the intersection. The vehicle would not restart causing a traffic jam. After a couple more attempts to restart the vehicle it finally enabled itself and I continued driving home without further incident. No warnings visual of audio were given during the event.
The main infotainment screen does not function. The car reboots itself every 5-6 minutes while driving. This temporarily disables all the seat sensors, signals or anything that requires electrical. The regenerative braking is also disabled. Furthermore, I can not control any Heat, AC, defrosters, which is extremely dangerous during the winter season.
The Center Panel commonly known as ICC does not boot up normally. The ICC basically is the central computer of the vehicle which controls all ADAS systems, HVAC, Charging, Audio and all connectivity. Since the ICC screen is blank, there is no way of controlling any of the above mentioned functions. Sometimes the HVAC blows air at 100°F and sometimes at 30°F. It also gets foggy inside the vehicle with no apparent way to defog thereby making the vehicle inoperable. Furthermore the Charging of the battery becomes stupendous because it automatically goes down to charging at 8A which takes more than 24 hours to charge.
The car doesn't change gear, car is currently parked in parking gear. When started, it says car is not intended gear and doesn't change to drive or reverse. Unable to use the car at the moment but still making payment and maintaining insurance on it. Tried reaching out to manufacturer, not able to get in touch with anyone that could help.

Was driving at approx 40 mph, car shut off completely but was able to get off to the side of a main road. No one was injured and no accident, however, this car is an absolute mess, is completely unsafe and none of them should be on roads, anywhere. I am supposed to get a recall OTA update, but I have no connectivity, no one can fix it, and I cannot get the necessary recall update. However, I do not trust that OTA even if I could get it. Some owners are getting this necessary OTA pushed to their vehicles and it is bricking them. Everything with these cars should be investigated, including, American Leasing and FOA (Fisker Owners Association) as they are collaborating with each other to push these OTAs to peoples vehicles, and neither of them are car makers, manufacturers, or auto companies.
Passenger rear door handle became stuck and I was unable to get my kid out of the back seat without going through the driver's side rear door and getting them out. This has been an issue since. The door handle is stuck in the "out position" at all times and is not functional. I am now unable to use the passenger rear door.
This is an EMERGENCY PROBLEM! There are supposed to be three ways of unlocking the vehicle: 1) NFC (included in the remote control) 2) Remote Phone App 3) Battery operated remote control. Two of the three options do not work on my vehicle at all. The third option, the battery operated remote, only works if you continuously install a new battery. I have been locked out of my vehicle three times now. The battery powered remotes have been a known issue since receiving the car. The NFC remote failed around the same time the door handles light covers disintegrated. The phone app worked for a while but once the 'profile' is removed to reinstall the app, the profile cannot be linked again due to a software issue. This is an EMERGENCY PROBLEM!
I have emailed the support department several times, but I have received automated messages with no answers. This list was sent to Fisker within three months of owning the vehicle. *1. Our vehicle powered off on its own as I was about to leave my house, and then the battery light on the dash came on. This happened two times! 2. I have replaced the key fob's battery 10 times since we acquired the car on [XXX]. I was left stranded in a parking lot. 3. This vehicle is our primary family vehicle, and our [XXX] and [XXX] ride in the back. Their backseat safety belts continuously keep getting stuck and won't retract. 4. Door handles don't retract. 5. The vehicle keeps rolling backward or forward when in the park. I almost rolled back at the school pickup line and hit the car behind me. I have to keep pressing...

The key fob drains batteries within 24 hours limiting the functionally of the key fob to NFC only. The door handles have further deteriorated and the NFC module in the for opening the vehicle is no longer responding and the light in the driver door no longer illuminates. I am no longer able to unlock my vehicle reliably. Currently, I am unable to unlock my vehicle without an internet connection and using the Fisker mobile app. Fisker is not reachable for service and I am disappointed in a lack of action enforced to make the vehicles safe and operable. My vehicle has not had any of the 5 recalls listed repaired by Fisker.
While my 2023 Fisker Ocean One was parked in my garage in the beginning of October, the vehicle received a Over-The-Air Software Update to Fisker OS v2.2, in order to align the car with a NHTSA recall (NHTSA campaign 24V623, Safety Recall Campaign TSB11062408). I was away for a few days when this OTA happened automatically. When I returned Oct. 6, the car's keyfob was unresponsive, and I was unable to unlock the car. I managed to open the vehicle's rear hatch using the Fisker smartphone app, and tried to start vehicle from front seat, with no success. Opening the driver door triggered the alarm. Since then, Fisker technicians have been unable to recover the car, having tried numerous times to re-install OTA software, and come in person to use diagnostic software tool to re-install. They confirmed with me that many other owners have experienced this "bricking" of the Fisker...

A few times when I drive to a stop light/sign, the SUV engages the parking brake without my input, unlocks the door and prevents the vehicle from being driven, unless I reengage the gear back to drive. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it does not work right away and takes a few times to shift the gear. Seems to be getting worst. One time on 10/17/2024 at my work parking lot, I forced the SUV to drive by stepping firmly on the accelerator while brakes are still gripping the rotor. The EV moved slowly forward, stalled and refused to reverse. There were a couple of vehicles behind me waiting for me to move out of their way. It took a while but few minutes later, it was back to normal. I'm able to disengage the brake for some reason and drive. This isn't the first time that this happened, although this...

Two recalls from Fisker but I cannot get hold of anyone
The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that while using a charging port, the vehicle overheated. The vehicle was slow to charge. The contact used the supercharger, but it failed to fully charge the vehicle and took 23 hours. The main screen failed to turn on. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted by phone and email but failed to respond. The failure mileage was unknown.
I received five recall notices but can not get a response from the manufacturer. Many of the recalls are software related and are supposed to be handled by a software update. Others require on site maintenance. The number for Fisker in the recall notice is a non-working number as far as i can tell. I need the manufacturer to contact me and after many attempts, am asking for your assistance to contact Fisker and have them respond to me. Thanks for your assistance.
When car is locked the orange blinkers on front and red lights on rear bumper, orange color mirror indicators staying on/dimmed or flickering. This is lasting roughly 5.20 minutes. This is also happening when car is on charge and locked. Duration of the entire charge, these lights are staying on. While driving the car, blinkers do not work and relay sound clicking faster and message displays both right and left turning light malfunction. This message is not true because lights are okay rather they don't work as it should. This is a safety issue while driving on the road because I can't correctly signal.

My Fisker Ocean has recalls and although they continue to mail me the recall letters and state that someone will call me to help me find a repair shop that will fix the recall, and they provide a number for me to call, no one has ever answered that phone number and they will not answer any emails. When I bought the car the GPS system never worked and they scheduled several appointments to fix it but never was able to fix the problem when a tech did come to my home twice, two different Fisker Technicians, then never followed up with me and then once they went bankrupt, I haven’t heard from them again. The car also has driving bugs that make the car seem unsafe to drive and these were also never addressed. They also sent out an email saying that they were going to send over the...

After software update 2.1 vehicle bricked. Parked car in garage with everything working with 80% charge. Two hours later every fault light was lit on drivers display when stepping on the brake and showing 0% on HV battery. 30 seconds later upon stepping on the brake the car shuts off except the information screen. 15 seconds after unlocking car the charge port light goes from sold blue to red. Vehicle is inoperable. No one at Fisker responds.

-Failed: 12 V battery draining, defective screw assembly that holds the hood down, broken air vents. Inspection available upon request. -Put in multiple repair tickets/messages months ago with no response from Fisker. Phone # listed in recall mailer just rings and rings. Phone record show I've been on hold for 8+ hours total before giving up. -No inspection of components by Fisker or other service centers or insurance. What happened: -280+ miles of EV battery drained while we were on vacation for 10 days. Came home to dead battery. Bricked: unable to unlock car door or charge port. -Dangerous situation as I've read online of multiple people being trapped in their cars with electrical failure. -Called for Fisker Roadside Assistance, no response. Luckily we came up with the idea to call AAA days later. They came out and was able to jump start the 12 V giving enough power to...
While driving the red light sign comes on and says collision and stays on, the rear inside lights come on and stay on, the dash goes out into black and does not show anything but comes back on after reseting from steering wheel. The attention monitor also starts saying pay attention even tho your watching the road ahead and will start beeping louder and louder.
The door exterior handle lighting inserts are deteriorating, a fingernail is able to scratch off the material and natural light is causing the material to crack. There are electronics within the door handles that may be problematic for vehicle entry/exit if what is the enter the inside of the exterior door handles. Multiple owners have reported issues with the door handles to Fisker, various owners have claimed Fisker has been aware of faulty parts for a while and has not taken appropriate action.
Vehicle does not detect key intermittently while driving, vehicle begins an alert sequence while driving that requires the key to be retrieved and placed to the dashboard. The vehicle will present a red banner and warn of limited operation if the actions are not performed. These actions limit the attention and hand availability of the driver. It is dangerous and highly distracting. This issue has occurred after replacing the batteries in the key fob as well, replacing batteries in the key does not eliminate this issue. Fisker has been notified of this issue by many owners since launch of the vehicle. I am disappointed with the lack of response and follow up from Fisker and related entities.
Vehicle ICC becomes unresponsive, audio may play and be unable to be stopped. Volume controls and changing audio settings on screen and steering wheel become unresponsive.
Fisker pushed the over the air (OTA) software update 2.1 and it broke / bricked my car. The car was at 61% charge and 12v battery without problems. After the 2.1 software update, my car showed tons of errors, including all the battery warnings, and now nothing works. It's basically dead without a fix. This issue has been documented and voiced all over the internet. I want this issue escalated into a recall while Fisker is still under Chapter 11 to be accountable and responsible to address and resolve.
Regen braking sometimes disengages at times creating what feels like sudden acceleration. Several malfunctions of the electronic system, including faulty alarms to go off all the time. There have been recalls on this vehicle, but Fisker has done nothing to repair any of these issues. List of authorized service dealers was promised by end of August and there has been no communication. The support number they advertise is inactive. It is just a voice mail.
The issue began with 1 vent not properly working. Now, know 3 of the 4 vents' mechanical functions have stopped working and cannot be adjusted via the center console. Everytime vehicle is unlocked a loud clicking noise if heard from the vents that continues for about 20-30 seconds varying. The vents not working correctly does not help clear fogging up windows that the climate change has brought about, and has caused visibility issues when fogging of the windows occurs.
Unsure if this falls under the remit of the NHTSA, but any Fisker Ocean car produced by December '23 needs to have its air vents motors replaced. There are several loud clicking sounds when the car starts up which indicates that the air vent motors are faulty, and will eventually break. This will leave customers without A/C and heat.
The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated while driving 50-75 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The messages maintain lane, charger port open, Loss of ADS, 12-volt battery failure, Forward Collision Warning lights, and messages were displayed. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V499000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was not contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 7,650.
The vents have stopped operating g in the vehicle and are defective. They have been changed once by Fisker and have failed again.
I'm writing to complain the manufacturer (Fisker) has not sent out software version 2.1 over the air, as it stated it would in NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 24V405 and 24V404 -- dated July 2024.
