The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean One. The contact stated while shifted into reverse(R) the vehicle independently shifted to park(P). There was no warning light illuminated. The contact had to release the accelerator pedal and depress the brake pedal to shift into the desired gear. Additionally, the contact stated that the doors failed to unlock while using the key fob. The contact had to make several attempts or wait for a while before the doors would unlock. The contact also stated that the driver’s side seat sensor failed to sense an occupant being seated in the seat. The contact had to move around in the seat to place the vehicle into the desired gear to be able to drive the vehicle. The contact stated that while the rear middle seat belt was buckled, the sensor was indicating that the seat belt had not locked. The seat belt was refastened...

This car has had issues with the camera going out/not accurately showing proximity to other objects. It also rolls backwards when in drive, recently did this at a stop sign. It suddenly goes off when in park and has had to be completely restarted blocking traffic. I was on the interstate slowing down on I-64 and suddenly the car accelerated.

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS called Fi-Pilot in Fisker) and Sensor Malfunction: On multiple occasions, I have experienced instances where multiple warnings would come up such as regenerative braking, front collision system unavailable, front cameras not functional, side sensors, lane keep system unavailable, auto emergency braking system unavailable, ADAS fault – features limited or unavailable – Drive carefully and daytime running lights being unavailable my Fisker Ocean one car failed to respond promptly or adequately. Mud flaps were ripped during first snow. AC vents are making regular clicking noise and are shut on passengers side. Repeated failure of Key fob to open car (received only one key and app does not work). Despite reaching out multiple time there is no response from Fisker on when these issues will be fixed

The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. The "Battery Power Low" message was displayed. The contact was able to coast the vehicle to a safe location and turn off the vehicle. The vehicle was able to restart, and the vehicle was driven to the residence. An independent mechanic visited the residence to inspect the vehicle and suggested that a software update was needed. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was unknown.

Vehicle loses power/loss of throttle/loss of the accelerator. The first time this happened I was unaware and stuck in the middle of a turning lane when it lost power to the accelerator, after a couple of minutes the vehicle responded and because I was pressing on the pedal it kicked into full power mode sending me over a median into oncoming traffic. This situation not only put me and my child at risk it also put others. The same problem has happened multiple times I know better than to step on the pedal and not to panic. I spoke to my assigned Fisker technician, who stated it is a known problem. They have updated my software twice when was supposed to fix it but it has not. When reversing the 2023 Fiskers Ocean One, the whole computer shut down. This has happened multiple times and I am afraid it may happen while driving. Remedy for this issue I found is to get out of vehicle and lock it. Then unlock it and it was restart itself. This is not safe and needs to be addressed immediately. I have contacted Fiskers and no one has responded.

The vehicle was non responsive - yet was charged (EV). Numerous times I have not been able to unlock the car via the key fob. There is a “backup” RFID chip in the fob that’s supposed to unlock the vehicle by holding it near a spot on the door handle, however— that system did not work and I was stranded in the rain for a couple hours. Eventually when I returned to the vehicle to try again it had come back online and apparently unlocked itself which is not safe.

The breaking system has failed numerous times nearly causing accidents and I’ve had faulty/false forward collision warnings and emergency breaking engage for no reason to the point where I’ve been thrusted forward and injured.

1.The Internet continues to not work. 2.Key Fobs do not work. 3.Regenerative braking functions failure. Brakes/wheels start to smoke and smell like electric smoke. HVAC vent electric motors inside the dashboard are creating cracking sounds when operating. I’m worried it may not be safe. The manufacturer hasn’t addressed the problem after being notified twice already.

On December 22nd, my car lost power while I was standing at an intersection. I was able to cross the intersection at no more than five miles per hour and get into a parking lot. My car was towed away. I received the car back on January 18th. To this day, the company won't release the information of what happened and what was fixed. They refuse to give me any written documentation. Also, the rear defroster doesn't work, creating an unsafe environment. I have asked several times to look into it and nobody has done anything about it.

I had a complete loss of power the car abruptly stopped in the middle of the fast lane on the freeway 680 in the San Francisco Bay area. Very dangerous situation highway patrol came had to stop the highway. I was able to get the car rolled to the shoulder and then I had to have it towed to my house. Could’ve been a very dangerous situation where crashes could’ve occurred. It stopped the entire five lanes of the highway.

Since delivery basic safety systems are not working such as emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, the key fob doesn’t open the car, the phone app doesn’t work, the front camera is not working and adas is offline, the car doesn’t start, the left rear passenger light always turns on, and the list goes on. It’s an electric car and was delivered with constant error messages that fisker could not resolve after more than a dozen attempts and multiple in person technician visits. Car is not safe to drive with unstable software. Cruise control supposed to be adaptive but car doesn’t detect another car and nearly drive into the car ahead.

We had issues with the car from the day it arrived ranging from the key fob not working to multiple warning lights that interrupted the regenerative braking. Despite multiple tickets filed, Fisker was unresponsive. After about two weeks of owning the car (less than 250 miles on a brand new vehicle), the car went unresponsive while driving despite having a full charge and no warning/issue alerts. The car shifted itself into neutral and when the driver tried to put the car in park to get out of the car and see what was wrong, the car started to roll forward despite being in park. ADAS obstacle detection is intermittently available. Audible ADAS obstacle warnings intermittently persist while driving. Rear view camera fails intermittently and there is no safety fallback to see around the large blind spots created by the D pillars. I have contacted Fisker many times asking for escalation and resolution.

Vehicle does not unlock and lock as expected. Vehicle frequently requires multiple unlock attempts to unlock the vehicle. Proximity unlock, an advertised feature, is not available. Occasionally vehicle will become unresponsive and not unlock for an extended duration. Fisker is aware these issues are widespread and continues to deliver vehicles with these issues.

The car has now on at least 6 occasions started to shake and rapidly decelerate after I pressed the brake to slow down or make a turn. The car dashboard then starts flashing the following warning signs: 1. "Brake system malfunction service required"; 2) "ASAS fault- Features Limited or unavailable. Drive Carefully"; and 3) "Battery Level low." Please charge battery now." The vehicle's steering wheel then starts to shake and the car then comes to a complete stop and shuts down. The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that messages indicating that the Forward Collision Avoidance cameras and sensors, and the regenerative braking system failure were displayed. The contact stated that the messages disappeared after the vehicle went into a deep sleep mode. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring intermittently. Additionally, the contact stated while driving at various speeds with Fun or Hyper Mode activated, there was an abnormal sound coming from the rear of the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that a technician had been assigned to service the vehicle; however, the contact had not received assistance in the past two months. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 10.

Passenger door failed to unlock or open from inside the car after parking. Passenger pulled on the handle multiple times but the door would not open. The driver got out of the car and attempted lock and unlock the car with the Key FOB and used the exterior handle to open the car but unsuccessful. On 12/4/23, I parked the vehicle in my garage after driving approximately 40 miles. A strong burning plastic smell was present upon exiting my vehicle. Smell was not apparent in my vehicle. Contacted Fisker that day and told to not drive it except to move it out of my garage away from home and told tech will be contact me that day or next. Created online service ticket on 12/6/23 after no contact by Fisker. On 12/8/23, Fisker contacted me about ADAS faults and updated rep on burning plastic smell. Rep noted file was not updated with this info. Rep indicated she would create ticket and I should hear from them shortly. No response ever received.

I have had Fisker for over a month now and it is not a drivable vehicle at the moment as it poses serious safety issues with numerous parts or functionality showing errors and suddenly not available. I would like these issues to be addressed ASAP within 30 days. There is no service center or service or place available where I can take this vehicle to showcase the issues and where the appropriate fixes can be done, which to my mind are non-available. There are many owners on Facebook and other blogs complaining about these issues. Yesterday, I was about to rear-end the vehicle in front due to regenerative braking not working.
