The car is generating a random left turn signal error stating the bulb is out. However, on inspection it appears that all bulbs are working. The car makes a fast blinker warning sound as well as notification. This has been happening for a couple of months but happened again yesterday.

Our Fisker Ocean is occasionally having an issue when a passenger is sitting in the rear driver side or middle seat. It seems like something related to the seat sensor causes the computer to freeze or get bogged down. When it occurs, the symptoms include: -The yellow front collision and lane change ADAS warnings pop up simultaneously -Cruise control shuts off -Speedometer freezes -Blinkers don’t work (which also means hazard lights don’t) -Regen turns off but braking still works -Tomtom stops tracking the car accurately -Radio freezes -There may be other systems affected that we haven't noticed. A bit of experimentation with the passengers we were able to figure out workarounds. Lifting themselves off the seat all the issues would resolve pretty much immediately. Leaning the seat back down and then putting it back up almost always took care of the issue and it wouldn’t come back for a while...
The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 24V499000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM), 24V466000 (STRUCTURE), 24V623000 (SERVICE BRAKES, ELECTRIC) and 24V865000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC; AUTOHOLD BRAKE SYSTEM/BRAKE HOLD). The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the rearview camera failed to activate while the vehicle was in reverse(R), compromising the back-over prevention system. In addition, all the cameras failed to operate as intended. The ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) light illuminated, and several unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that an Over-the-Air (OTA) software update was performed on the rearview camera; however, the failure became progressively worse. The contact stated that the OTA updates drained the battery, causing alarms to independently activate. The battery was replaced. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, the electrical system failed, which caused the vehicle to be completely non-responsive. A mobile mechanic arrived at the residence and repaired...
The Break System is malfunctioning. ADAS System Malfunctioning. Internet problem. The driver's side left HVAC is making a cracking sound. I received a Recall message from the manufacturer and NHTSA, but the person from the dealership service is not going to fix the problem, and he says the message is not Valid. Please help me go through this. And he is not going to honor the warranty. FYI, I also uploaded a picture and Text copy of the message from the manufacturer and NHTSA. Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a critical safety failure of my Fisker Ocean One. This incident involved a sudden and total loss of power while driving, which created a severe safety hazard for myself and other motorists. Date of Incident: [Date the incident occurred] Location of Incident: [Name of Highway, City, State, e.g., Interstate 35, Austin, TX] Detailed Description of the Incident: On [Date of Incident], while I was operating my Fisker Ocean One on the highway, the vehicle experienced a sudden and complete loss of motive power without any prior warning. The vehicle decelerated and came to a stop in a live traffic lane, rendering it a dangerous obstruction. Immediately following the power loss, I made multiple attempts to restart the vehicle and engage "Drive." The vehicle's systems were unresponsive. Despite repeated efforts, the gear selector would not shift into drive,...
VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY "BRICKS" VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY SHIFTS FROM DRIVE TO PARK WHILE AT A RESTING STOP I.E. STOPLIGHT DRIVERS SIDE DOOR WILL NOT OPEN FROM THE INTERIOR
Front passager side door will not open when unlocked. This door handle was a replacement for the original handle that had the same defect. The second handle was installed in March 2025 This then would be the second handle that failed
There are so many issues with this vehicle that started right from the beggining when I purchased it back 2023): •The sensors in the car beep frequently even when nothing is in the way. •When using the brakes, the car will sometimes abruptly brake aggressively •Middle console of the inside of the car makes random noises constantly. •Wheels have no traction! Spin when going uphill. •Most importantly the vehicle shuts down automatically. NO warning or signs.
Incomplete Software updates. Unreimbursed recall repairs. Removal of connectivity and car safety features.
Apr 2024 vehicle stopped connecting to cloud. Unable to get software updates OTA. Dec 2024 Paid to be updated to 2.2. But don't think I recieved full update due to a portion that need to be done OTA after manual updates. Jan 2025 vehicle randomly goes into park and all doors unlock when the vehicle is in park. The following recalls still have nor been done... July 2, 2024NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V499000 Water Pump Failure Can Cause Loss of Drive Power A sudden loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash. June 20, 2024NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V466000 Door Handles Can Stick and Fail to Open A door that fails to open can prevent occupants from exiting in an emergency, increasing the risk of injury (This is happing now starting Mar 2025)
2023 Fisker SUV Door Handle Malfunction, I am submitting this complaint regarding a critical safety issue with my 2023 Fisker SUV involving the interior and exterior door handles failing to open. This malfunction has resulted in passengers, including myself, being locked inside the vehicle, unable to exit manually or from the outside. Details of the Issue: Component Failure: The door handles fail to operate, preventing entry and exit. - Safety Risk: This poses a serious safety hazard, as occupants are trapped inside the vehicle, risking harm in an emergency situation. - Reproduction/Inspection: The issue has occurred multiple times and is not an isolated incident. I am requesting an official investigation to determine whether this defect is widespread. - Warning Signs: No warning lamps or alerts appeared before the failure. Given the life-threatening nature of this defect, I urge the NHTSA to investigate this issue thoroughly and ensure appropriate safety measures...

It has lots of faults in it. . 1. I got only one key( sometime works sometimes not), It asks for the key to put on NFS reader several times. 2. Transmission problem( it is so irritating when have an emergency to go somewhere and car doesn't gets starts, unable to do gear shifting . Sometimes while driving, especially standing in the traffic areas or red lights, the gear has turned into P mode automatically, then it's hard to turn it back on D mode. People honks . 3. ABS (while driving , sometimes it stops automatically . I'm at the highest danger when cars are coming from behind on speed and my car stops instantly. 4. Hazardous signs( Many hazardous lights coming on screen without any reason) the car starts making noises .. 5. Tires (Bridgestone tires were their on my car when I bought it, it runs only...
Door handle not working also water pump for A/C not working
Our Fisker Ocean One since it was disconnected from the cloud, now the cluster screen and main infotainment screen go black, can’t see the speed, can’t adjust temperature or turn on A/C, sometimes it works and when accelerating and staying in motion goes black
My fisker has multiple issues. I am unable to get in my car, unable to unlock, unable to get to charge port to charge. I am unable to drive Fisker was to send vent replacement parts that were ordered for my car to fix ac vents , but did not send them before bankruptcy. I was unable to use my ac in the car in texas There is a water pump recall, but have been unable to locate someone to order part or fix My door handles don’t work properly
All Fisker Ocean vehicles were supposed to receive a full 2.2 OS update. However, I received 2.2 (2/3) partial update. I have waited since end of 2024. No full update was ever pushed via OTA on my Fisker Ocean One. I'm the very first Fisker owner. The full 2.2 OS update will fix many software bugs which still exist on my vehicle today.
My Fisker Ocean ICC infotainment screen and the lower climate and sound control panel have stopped functioning. Initially it was restarting on its own once in a while. Once it was able to get booted up, all eletronics, vents and sound controls were still working. However, ICC has now been blacked out and stays in start loop every 5 mins. I have fully lost the climate control and sound system. It has created a dangerous driving environment as the windshield cannot be defogged at bad weather. I lost heat and AC along with the sound system and other electronic controls from the ICC.
The Fisker Ocean was delivered with door handles that have major physical defects, including entrapment inside the vehicle in the case of 12V power loss and users unable to enter the vehicle. In my case, I have installed an emergency door hatch release myself in the trunk of the car to prevent entrapment. I have also ordered the new Gen2A door handles manufactured by Chevalier. These Gen2A door handles should have been provided free of charge to all Fisker Ocean owners if the company still existed. I believe we should be compensated for faulty and dangerous door handles. American Lease, the company now responsible for the fleet of Fisker Oceans, should pay for the handles and the repair cost. I have included the receipt of the door handles I had to purchase, but this does not include the labor cost to install them (at least $1,000). In addition, the Fisker...
Was able to get the water pump replaced per NHTSA recall campaign 24V499000. However, I was required to pay for the labor and no request for reimbursement can be filed with the manufacturer or the trustee that has been designated to handle the recall.
The cars electrical system does not work properly. It is always triggering false alarms. The emergency braking brakes for unknown reasons. The blind spot cameras and notifications always switch off for no apparent reason. There are warning messages that come on and off and are unreliable to warn of an actual problem.
The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V499000 (Electrical System). The contact attempted to contact the manufacturer but was unsuccessful because the company had filed for bankruptcy protection and was no longer in business. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure.
After receiving the 2.2 OTA UPDATE, I have lost the Pedestrian warning sounds at low speeds which are required to pass State safety inspections in my state of NC. Without this function the vehicle can not be heard moving down the streets at slow speeds below 18mpg which is a Hazzard. Also the reverse function has lost the warning sound.
An over the air software update was sent and has messed up my car causing it to not sleep, run high voltage and 12v battery down. I have lost 4g connectivity after this update as well.
As of Feb after a over the air update from OS 2.0 to a partial 2.2 software update, 2.2 ICC390047-APK-1.1.47, on my Fisker Ocean One I am having the following issues: 12v drain, most days when I go to start the car I am getting the 12v battery low, turning off climate control message incomplete home charging -The vehicle has stopped charging multiple times after only adding about 30% when there was about 30% left to get to requested 80% charge. Ambient lighting is on when set to off on UI, I have to go into UI to turn it on then turn it off for it to turn to be off. Ambient light is on when the car is off, I have found the ambient lighting on hours after i have gotten home & locked the car. There also appears to be a higher level of vampire drain where...
I am a Fisker Ocean One owner and was able to schedule time with EV Works in Bainbridge, WA for replacement of parts related to NHTSA recalls. They were great to work with and were able to complete the replacements as expected. They replace the Water Pump (24V499000) and all four Door Handles that failed the testing (24V466000). All parts were provided at no cost. However, I was required to pay out of pocket for all labor related to this mandatory free recall: $1019.28. Two other issues were looked at as part of my visit to EV Works. They inspected and waterproofed electrical connectors in the front passenger side bumper. Fisker failed to adequately protect these as part of the vehicle assembly and they are known to get water intrusion and fail. This cost out of pocket $71.60. Part of why EV Works was looking at the electrical connections is...
I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. The experience I had with my Fisker vehicle following the 2.2 Over-the-Air (OTA) update attempt left my vehicle un-driveable from Jun 15 2024 through Oct 26 2024. This had left me in an inconvenient and frustrating situation. As a result, I had to incur additional expenses to have the necessary safety updates completed to restore my vehicle's functionality. This is far from the experience that I expected when signing up for a free mandated safety recall. While my vehicle was functioning fine after this manual update, on April 17th 2025 the OTA team pushed a software update 2.2.2 which seems to have regressed my car to some older version which has made it unstable again. It is draining battery much faster than before and my...
Upon update to newest software version 2.2.2, 12v battery is now failing.
American Lease and Management (AL) company acquired fleet of Fisker Ocean vehicles with a commitment to push Software Updates Over The Air (OTA) to all the Fisker Ocean Vehicles sold by Fisker. AL pushed the update to software on Fisker vehicles (including mine) very irresponsibly and as a result my vehicle is undrivable (Bricked). AL is very hard to reach, their phone number don't work. For me to get a Technician to the location where my vehicle is bricked and manually update the software to unbrick it, would cost me thousands of dollars. This should not havd happened in the first place, but because of AL negligence and lack of responsibility, there are many cars out there that are in same situation as mine is now.
There was a safety over the air update which happened on Feb 13 2025. After that the vehicle is completely unoperable. After the NHSTA mandated update the car does not shift from Neutral to drivable gear. It's become a brick.
There are many incidents to report. 1. No Braking consistency and sometimes a jerk forward on braking, many incidents about 10. Also loss of regen braking at times. 2. Software safety features do not work and constant warning it does not work. Mostly lane assist, automatic parking collision warning. One time reversing camera shows room with digital assist lines which did not protect or warn car of swiping another car. Only slight damage to my vehicle. 3. Driver door handle water leakage causing door to not open with NFC chip and is constantly very warm on the handle as if there is electrical current always on. 4. I had to buy a new KEY FOB as old one has failed. 5. Rear passenger door reading light will come on for no reason. Some adjustment needed. 6. Broken air vents. Poor quality plastic apparently. I did tell manufacturer when i received...
I am writing to report an issue with my vehicle that occurred during an unannounced over-the-air software update. The update bricked the vehicle, locking the steering and wheels and immobilizing the car. The PKC unit failed during the update, and the resulting tow truck and repair costs exceeded $3,000. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter as soon as possible. Sincerely, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact received an unknown recall notification. The contact attempted to reach the manufacturer but was unsuccessful since the company had filed for bankruptcy protection and was no longer in business. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH, the vehicle shuddered violently and stalled. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact merged to the left side of the road. A mobile mechanic diagnosed the vehicle at the residence. The mechanic diagnosed the vehicle with vehicle control unit (VCU) corruption, drive train corruption, and software corruption. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred after driving 200 ft. The manufacturer was notified and informed the contact that a field technician would be sent to perform the vehicle control unit (VCU), drive train, and software updates. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000. The contact stated that the manufacturer had...
I received an update without any prior notice, and my vehicle stopped abruptly in the middle of the highway, making it impossible to move or start for a few minutes. I had to reset it before I could continue driving. Unfortunately, this issue keeps occurring while I'm on the road. It seems that software updates have been pushed, and the vehicle consistently stops whenever these updates happen during driving.
The software on the vehicle appears to have been updated without my permission or knowledge. 1) Now my doors will no longer lock or unlock from the interior control panel ... which means that the vehicle cannot drive as I am unable to let people into the vehicle due to how the door/door handles function. The door handles used to protrude out of the door when the vehicle was unlocked. Since the interior control panel on the driver's door no longer functions and the doors automatically lock when driving, I am unable to unlock the doors to let people in while driving. 2) I am not longer able to roll down, or up, any windows from the driver's control panel. All windows are permanently closed and cannot be opened or closed from the driver's door control panel.
The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that American Lease sent out a software update without warning, which initiated the failure. The vehicle became inoperable and failed to go into drive or reverse. The 12-volt battery low message was displayed. The vehicle failed to go into start mode. The contact had an independent mechanic remove the software update. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.

While I was travelling and out of town there was an OTA update (2.2 )to address the issued recalls on my car on 2/25/2025 (OTA update 2.2 1/3) followed with another one OTA update (2.2) on 2/28/2025. In anticipation of the OTA update I had to replace the battery with a new battery in December 2024. In early March, I remotely checked on that status of my car and realized that the car is dead. When I returned home the car was inoperable due to drained battery. After extensive effort and cost of another battery I was able to get the car to turn on. However, I noticed that even though the main monitor indicated 2.2; one of the recalls 24V405000 (Warning Lights OTA-2.1) has not been deployed.
In the last month, in the middle of driving with no sound playing, our vehicle has been automatically turning on the radio at loud volumes, always to 103.3, a radio station we never listen to (in another language).
1) Since the day that I took delivery on 1/18/24, I have not had any audio- media, phone and safety warnings. This is extremely dangerous as I have no auditory warnings for any of the safety systems. I have never been able to listen to any entertainment through the speakers nor can I make a phone call, hands-free. If I have to make or take a call, I have to use Airpods- illegal while driving- or use the phone speaker, which is difficult to hear at higher speeds. In addition, 2) according to the warning lights on the dash, many of the safety systems are often inoperable. 3) Brakes sometimes fail, causing the car to continue forward after the pedal is depressed. It's extremely dangerous and very scary when it happens. 4) There is often a warning light that the 12-volt battery is low. 5) Overhead cabin lights come on...
I am unable to find the recall information regarding my Fisker Ocean One by using my VIN of [XXX] . I have yet to receive the 2.2 software update as of yet due to a recall of my vehicle. Can you please provide me with information as to when I can receive the software update? INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
The car stopped working, is now bricked in my garage. 3 different techs came to check it and all said the car gives them weird codes. One of the techs said the front unit motor needs to be replaced which will end up costing almost $8k. but it is not guaranteed that will fix the car. This is insane. I do not know what to do, as we paid cash for it with our savings and now had to lease another car to be able to get to work.
There was a mandate that an update be performed to address safety issues with braking. The update has been partially done which has not addressed the original issue and has created other safety issues (inability to see screen, no AC control, no rear camera, no blind spot, no emergency braking).
My car was scheduled the first week of the updates. The car would not update. Afterward, the batter drain was very noticeable. Now there is no internet service for the car... not from Fisker and while I can verify it connects to my home wifi and mobile phone hotspot, it will not allow data to the car. I took this to a dealer to have the water pump replaced, the car updated, the 12v batter replaced, the t-box reset and the door handle inserts replaced. They were unable to repair the drivers door handle (the LED lights actually generate smoke) and I cannot use the NFC to enter the car. Additionally, one day while charging the vehicle, all of the door handles retracted when I closed the door and the key was in the car. Thankfully the rear hatch was not locked because my DOG WAS INSIDE! This car is...
