The car is continually and significantly draining the battery from something. either the inability for the communication box to connect or from lighting coming on. My headlights and tails lights were on April 2, 2025 - Headlamps and Tail Lamps April 5, 2025 - Dash lights and rear passenger lamps September 28 - October 13 A friend was keeping my vehicle while I traveled abroad to keep it charged because the battery keeps draining. He reported that the lights came on almost daily. January 5 through January 8, 2026, Neighbor reported rear passenger overhead lighting on daily around 7:30 am.

The car is generating a random left turn signal error stating the bulb is out. However, on inspection it appears that all bulbs are working. The car makes a fast blinker warning sound as well as notification. This has been happening for a couple of months but happened again yesterday.

My Fisker Ocean ICC infotainment screen and the lower climate and sound control panel have stopped functioning. Initially it was restarting on its own once in a while. Once it was able to get booted up, all eletronics, vents and sound controls were still working. However, ICC has now been blacked out and stays in start loop every 5 mins. I have fully lost the climate control and sound system. It has created a dangerous driving environment as the windshield cannot be defogged at bad weather. I lost heat and AC along with the sound system and other electronic controls from the ICC.

The Fisker Ocean was delivered with door handles that have major physical defects, including entrapment inside the vehicle in the case of 12V power loss and users unable to enter the vehicle. In my case, I have installed an emergency door hatch release myself in the trunk of the car to prevent entrapment. I have also ordered the new Gen2A door handles manufactured by Chevalier. These Gen2A door handles should have been provided free of charge to all Fisker Ocean owners if the company still existed. I believe we should be compensated for faulty and dangerous door handles. American Lease, the company now responsible for the fleet of Fisker Oceans, should pay for the handles and the repair cost. As of Feb after a over the air update from OS 2.0 to a partial 2.2 software update, 2.2 ICC390047-APK-1.1.47, on my Fisker Ocean One I am having the following issues: 12v drain, most days when I go to start the car I am getting the 12v battery low, turning off climate control message incomplete home charging -The vehicle has stopped charging multiple times after only adding about 30% when there was about 30% left to get to requested 80% charge. Ambient lighting is on when set to off on UI, I have to go into UI to turn it on then turn it off for it to turn to be off. My car was scheduled the first week of the updates. The car would not update. Afterward, the batter drain was very noticeable. Now there is no internet service for the car... not from Fisker and while I can verify it connects to my home wifi and mobile phone hotspot, it will not allow data to the car. I took this to a dealer to have the water pump replaced, the car updated, the 12v batter replaced, the t-box reset and the door handle inserts replaced. They were unable to repair the drivers door handle (the LED lights actually generate smoke) and I cannot use the NFC to enter the car. Additionally, one day while charging the vehicle, all of the door handles retracted when I closed the door and the key was in the car. On several occasions, following update to the 2.2 S/W load to address Recall RCAK-24V405-1431, dated June 11, 2024, the vehicle braking system has been erratic with Emergency Braking System Warning lights / alarms repeatedly annunciating. I paid for the 2.2 S/W upgrade, at my cost, to address the recall requirements.

Description of Incident(s) On March 5, 2025, I discovered that my 2023 Fisker Ocean had undergone an unauthorized over-the-air (OTA) software update to version 2.2.2 without my knowledge or consent. I received no prior notification from Fisker or American Leasing, the current entity managing Fisker vehicles following the company’s bankruptcy in 2024. Additionally, I have no access to the vehicle’s cloud system or update logs to understand what changes were implemented, leaving me unable to assess the scope or purpose of the update. Following this update, I experienced two significant safety-related issues with my vehicle, detailed below. Driver’s Door Handle Overheating After the 2.2.2 update, the driver’s side door handle began exhibiting extreme overheating, reaching temperatures exceeding 130°F as measured with a non-contact infrared thermometer. My vehicle received an unexpected OTA software update over the night if 12-Feb-2025. That process completely drained and destroyed the 12v battery. This resulted in the software download and installation not completing as intended. Since that time I have related the 12v battery, and the vehicle can drive, but essential all of its electrical components such as HVAC, cameras, and all software controls are non-functional and inaccessible. A service center has been unable to fix the problem and tell me it must be corrected with future OTA updates, but I have no means to identify, let alone contact those responsible for those updates.

My entire ADAS system is unreliable and I get constant warnings for various features including, but not limited to Adaptive Cruise, Collision warnings, emergency breaking, lane keeping, etc. Additionally, I still have a very common issue when braking on a broken surface where the car lurches forward. Turn indicator lights turn on by themselves and stays solidly lit. This makes it the lights useless for actually signaling a turn. Additionally, this drains the electrical system unnecessarily. After checking a wiring connector in the front right wheel well shared by other owners with the same issue, I found the connector had inadequate waterproofing as the inside had muddy water and corrosion. Proper waterproof connectors should have been used in this area which tends to get water intrusion.

Even after i was fortunate to receive software update to version 2.2, i still receive frequent driver assistance warnings and periodic unavailability, resulting in loss in automatic emergency braking, lane keeping warnings, blind spot warnings, and similar. Additionally, internal lighting is inconsistent which results in lights coming on while driving that dont seem to have a way to turn off. My Fisker Ocean still has the 2.0 software, which does not include recall updates. Most concerning is the brake system, which I experience regular "lurching" (MRN: TSB10062408). I will no longer drive the car unless necessary because of the safety concern. In addition to this safety issue, there are several issues that have gone addressed with no apparent recourse to do so, such as: defective AC vent controls, lights that go on randomly in the car, warning lights regularly making audio and visual warnings, key fob not recognized by the car (to start the car), and more. Although reporting the "incident" as today. Issues have been ongoing since the purchase of the car in October of 2023.

I'm aware of multiple Fisker Ocean recalls, some of them were addressed via Over the Airway (OTA) software updates, but the interior lighting still comes on every night, remains on, and represent a security risk and negatively impacts battery performance. In addition, none of the hardware recalls have been resolved on my vehicle, probably due to the fact I live in a region with no access to Fisker technical support and the company has made no attempt to provide said technical support. Specifically, the defective water pump and door handles have not been replaced, and despite multiple attempts by me and other owners living in the region, we have not been able to secure the mandated recall services.

Fisker Inc has gone out of business. A mandatory recall has been issued and the bankruptcy court has assigned a trustee to ensure vehicles are updated to version 2.2 to address safety recall issues. The update to 2.2 has been extremely unpredictable and the trustee has not been able to complete this recall. Of the cars that were updated, like mine, almost immediately the estimated range has been drastically reduced. The cars were marketed as getting up to 360 miles on 100% charge. Since the recall update, they now get somewhere around 220 miles on a 100% charge. That’s more than 100 miles lost. I had a technician analyze it with approved Fisker software, and he found that the rear motor is now throwing “flux error codes” and not functioning properly. This vehicle is subject to several recalls, but thus far I have been unable to get recall work completed. No service providers are nearby. Software updates that are supposed to be done over the air have never arrived. Significant safety issues, such as a potential problem with the door handles getting stuck, a coolant pump that will fail at any time and other issues remain unaddressed by the trustee appointed by the bankruptcy court to address outstanding recall work. Air vents are broken in a month after delivery. Fisker ignored all the service calls, opened tickets for parts replacement and have done nothing to deliver the parts or fix the issue. Multiple alerts comes up, Rear Seat belt not retracting which was notified to fisker via ticket. After the company filed bankruptcy there is no protection or warranty for this vehicle. Safety recalls like Water pump , door handle is not take care and parts are not available. As a owner i have to travel to different state pay the costs for recalls if the parts are available. At this point none of the recalls are addressed , just the notice sent from NHTSA that these recalls are active. The main infotainment screen does not function. The car reboots itself every 5-6 minutes while driving. This temporarily disables all the seat sensors, signals or anything that requires electrical. The regenerative braking is also disabled. Furthermore, I can not control any Heat, AC, defrosters, which is extremely dangerous during the winter season.

The key fob drains batteries within 24 hours limiting the functionally of the key fob to NFC only. The door handles have further deteriorated and the NFC module in the for opening the vehicle is no longer responding and the light in the driver door no longer illuminates. I am no longer able to unlock my vehicle reliably. When car is locked the orange blinkers on front and red lights on rear bumper, orange color mirror indicators staying on/dimmed or flickering. This is lasting roughly 5.20 minutes. This is also happening when car is on charge and locked. Duration of the entire charge, these lights are staying on. While driving the car, blinkers do not work and relay sound clicking faster and message displays both right and left turning light malfunction. The door exterior handle lighting inserts are deteriorating, a fingernail is able to scratch off the material and natural light is causing the material to crack. There are electronics within the door handles that may be problematic for vehicle entry/exit if what is the enter the inside of the exterior door handles. I received a recall notice for my Fisker Ocean's electric water pump (NHTSA Campaign Number 24V499). The notice advises me to contact my Fisker Authorized service provider. 1) BODY: My passenger was unable to open the door from the inside and I was unable to open the door from the outside. My vehicle has been stuck at the 1st half of SW version 2.0 and has never been able to complete the full version of 2.0 upgrade. A ticket has been open with Fisker for this issue several months now with minimal communication. A tech advised that there was a component not taking the update correctly so the rest of the install was backing out. Ghost lights - the backseat lighting turns on and off during driving. It can be turned off after a few presses from the front overhead controls, but then will turn on again on its own. This creates a dangerous situation at night. This has been happening since the update to 2.0 software.

On May 5, 2024 three passengers were locked in the rear seat of the vehicle. The door lock button in the car would not unlock the rear passenger doors, nor would the remote, nor would trying to open the door with the handle. All cameras have failed on this Fisker Ocean. That has led to the blind spot indicators being on at all times along with non functioning back-up cameras, lane-keeping system, parking indicators. No response on the ticket submitted (along with other tickets submitted for other issues previously). Anytime the vehicle goes over a bump the vehicle lunges forward even if the operator is pressing the brakes. Collison warning does not work properly and lane departure warning is spotty. Interior lights randomly come on and off without any operator control. Fisker has not done anything since November 5, 2023 when I took delivery of the car.
