MY SON ([XXX]) WAS DRIVING ALONG KING COLLEGE ROAD, BRISTOL,TENNESSEE AT ABOUT 8:55PM ON DECEMBER 4, 2014 MY VEHICLE BECAME UNSTEERABLE WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. THE LEFT FRONT TIRE ROD APPARENTLY BROKE AND HE WAS UNABLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE. PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT HE HAD TAKEN IT TO A LOCAL DODGE DEALER AND THEY SAID IT WAS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. COME TO FIND OUT IT APPEARS SOMEONE ERRONEOUSLY LISTED THE VEHICLE IN THE SYSTEM AS BEING REPAIRED AND IT WAS NEVER REPAIRED. I BELIEVE SOMEONE LISTED IT SO CHRYSLER WOULD NOT HAVE TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE AND IT COULD HAVE COST MY SON'S LIFE WHEN THE TIRE ROD BROKE.
