Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL WAS EXTREMELY STIFF WHEN TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FAILURE PROGRESSED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PULLING A TRAILER OR WITHOUT THE TRAILER. THE CONTACT HAD TO APPLY EXCESSIVE FORCE TO THE STEERING WHEEL, WHICH WAS PAINFUL TO THE VEHICLE OWNER'S ARM UPON TURNING WHEN THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED NO REMEDY. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000. UPDATED 11/27/2017*CN
