Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE PASSENGER'S SIDE TIE ROD BECAME DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER:13V529000 (STEERING) HOWEVER, THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE TIE ROD WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED AT THE CONTACT'S EXPENSE BECAUSE IT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 139007.
