IN ORDER TO STOP THE SHAKING, THE VEHICLE WOULD BE SLOWED DOWN TO 35 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED NEW BALL JOINTS. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE BALLS JOINTS, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED A NEW TIE ROD, STEERING DAMPENER, PITMAN ARM, FRONT AXLE U-JOINT, AND WHEEL ALIGNMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 86,000. SM.

DEALERSHIP WAS UNWILLING TO REPLACE TIE RODS UNDER WARRANTY FOR THE THIRD TIME, AS IT WAS THE LAST WEEK OF SAID WARRANTY. REPLACED PARTS WITH HEAVY DUTY AFTERMARKET PARTS AT MY OWN EXPENSE. I PURCHASED A USED 2007 DODGE RAM 2500 4X4 5.9 LITER DIESEL WITH 52,523 MILES FROM A DEALER ON 1/18/10. THE TRUCK HAS NO PRIOR DAMAGE OR REPAIRS PER CARFAX AND THE DEALER INFO. I AM EXPERIENCING FRONT END HARMONIC WHEEL HOP AND SHAKE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS OF APPROX 50-70MPH. THIS WHEEL SHAKE OCCURS WHENEVER THE TRUCK RUNS OVER AN IRREGULAR ROAD SURFACE,POTHOLE OR BRIDGE TO ROAD DROP.
