Consumer Description

I AM EXPERIENCING A PROBLEM WITH MY STEERING ON MY 2007 2500 RAM, I TOOK IT INTO A DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR AND FOUND THAT THE STEERING LINKAGE IS UNDER RECALL. THE PROBLEM I DESCRIBED TO THEM IS IDENTICAL TO THAT OF THE RECALL DESCRIPTION. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP IS SHOT AND I NEED TO REPLACE. THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE SINCE THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS 47000 MILES AND THE DESCRIPTION MATCHES THAT OF THE RECALL. SECONDLY, I WAS TOLD THAT THE PARTS AREN'T READILY AVAILABLE AND I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT 2-3 WEEKS. I CANNOT TURN THIS VEHICLE TO THE RIGHT AT TIMES AND THIS COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT OR WORSE! *TR
