THIS GOVERNMENT VEHICLE HAS BEEN DEEMED 'UNSAFE' TO DRIVE DUE TO THE AFFECTED UNAVAILABLE PARTS. I HAVE CHECKED WITH THE DEALERSHIP TO SEE IF THE PARTS CAN BE BROUGHT FROM ANOTHER LOCATION, TO NO AVAIL. THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN 'OUT OF SERVICE' FOR MONTHS WHILE WE WAIT FOR THE PART. IT IS OUR ONLY LONGBED TRUCK AND USED HEAVILY DURING THE CURRENT FIRE SEASON. IT IS NECESSARY TO GET THIS VEHICLE BACK IN SERVICE AND FEEL THIS IS AN UNACCEPTABLE LENGTH OF TIME TO WAIT. *TR
