Was driving 35mph and car started jerking and lost power to gas pedal. I placed it in park, and then in drive. The speedometer trusted to 110 and then it jerked some more, heard a horrible whining noise. I drove home with same issues, about 6 blocks. Then I got a transmission failure message on my dash. Could put in park. Put my e brake on. Had it towed to the dealership. Car only has 55,000 miles on it. Been meticulously maintained. There were no warnings before this incident. Dealership called and said my transmission needs to be replaced. Well we do t have 6000 to fix it and ar still making car payments. I have seen thousands of these complaints online, why isn't Ford doing something for the consumer. This should be a recall. I am not a happy customer

So I called Nelson Ford today they told me that I had 3 recalls on my vehicle according to the website here I've had 15 recalls they say I had 3 recalls. Now my car hesitates when it accelerates and doesn't shift right they say that the recall as nothing to do with the transmission itself. That the recalls only covers the cable bushing only and if it fails then they will fix it only of I can't move the car and that I get it towed in. And now I have a lemon and I can't offord to replace the transmission if the same problem exists . And I feel like ford is not taking responsibility for there lemon car
