WE HAVE OWNED OUR 2013 DODGE DURANGO SINCE IT HAD 30 MILES ON IT. IT HAS 60,000+ MILES ON IT AND FOR THE LAST YEAR IT HAS FAILED TO START ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. WE TOOK IT TO THE CERRITOS DODGE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID IT COULD BE 2 THINGS. ONE IS $900+ AND THE OTHER IS $1200+ TO FIX IT. WHY SHOULD WE PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT COMES FAULTY FROM THE MANUFACTURER? THIS IS NOT OIL OR A FILTER THAT NEEDS CHANGING EVERY FEW MONTHS. BATTERY LIGHT COME ON, SHORTLY AFTER DASH BOARD LIGHTS FLICKERED, WINDSHIELD WIPERS TURNOFF ON BY THEMSELVES, HAZARDS ALSO TURNED ON, THEN RADIO AND A/C TURNOFF, POWER STEERING WAS LOST AND THE WHOLE CAR DIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 95,000.

I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE IN JUNE 2017 REGARDING AN ALTERNATOR ISSUE ON MY 2013 DODGE DURANGO. IT IS NOW NOVEMBER 2017 AND THERE IS STILL NO REMEDY. MY BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON THIS MORNING AFTER DRIVING FOR LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES IN A 30 MPH ZONE. I HAVE AN INFANT DAUGHTER SO I CANNOT RISK ANY BATTERY ISSUES IN THE DEAD OF WINTER IN UPSTATE NEW YORK. IT HAS BEEN NEARLY SIX MONTHS SINCE THE RECALL WAS ISSUED WITH NO REMEDY AVAILABLE.
