I’m not sure but it will randomly die and have to be restarted there are times it does it more than others but every time is extremely dangerous because you essentially lose control of the car until it is restarted and it shift extremely hard sometimes like it feels like the transmission is going to fall out it jerks the entire car violently and there are numerous low voltage codes as well
You have a recall for chryslr 200 2015 for intermittent starting and stalling caused by faulty PDC connector. NHTSA. My car is doing exactly that but its not under the recall why not? It had done this gor the last 4 months
The transmission is stuck in 3rd gear and sometimes don't move at all. It has jumped in neutral a couple of times while driving or automatically goes to paddle shifting without touching the gear control. It is basically undrivable with only 95000, or so miles.

I put the car in park, once I released the brake the car started jerking forward. While this was going on, the dash displayed powertrain failure. I was only able to get it to stop by turning off the car. When I turned the car on following the event, I had a check engine code: P1B13-00 "Park-By-Wire-Unintended Out of Park Position". Since that incident, the car has excessive forward roll when putting the car in park. The shifting has become unpredictable and rough, it also gets stuck in 4th gear often. I took my car to a Chrysler dealership to see if it was in recall R08 / NHTSA 15V-090, I was told it was not and that I would have to pay for them to inspect it. My car was manufactured just before the recall window.
transmission service (power train ) caused my parking rod dislodged/broken to slip/jerk to lose control of vehicle. It had put us at high risk, no airbags didn't go off to causing passenger to hit their head blacking out and non-stop pain in rotating cuff of right shoulder. It was inspect by the police and city from not being drive-able to be towed and inspected by the towing/mechanical person. The messages that showed on dashboard was transmission failed/ services, engine light and having electrical issues to light was flicking once press on brakes. when idling to pulling off from a stop cause to jerk.
This is my wife's account which happen more than 5-10 times because she operates the vehicle. The car at time's will jump into neutral while operating and the accelerator is unresponsive when she shifts back into drive. She cuts the car off for it to reset and sometimes it does, and sometimes she has to do it more than once. It sometime happens when the car has set for a while and she starts it, the transmission light will be on and the car will not move until reset.

Emergency break on an off working parking pawl becomes dislodged and transmission to where it is shifting into neutral unexpectedly or shifting into park, which could be a potential rollaway which it has. My car is stuck in drive but won't let me turn my shifter to park. It will not start and I have to undo the battery to get it to shut off . But it won't cranck. It sometimes will slow down for no reason and speed up without me even pressing the gas. My shock absorbers look like they are almost off the coil over spring. My lights in my car. sometimes work and sometimes don't. My headlights won't turn on sometimes. I have to kill the car and rest the system on my radio . Hard shifting
We purchased our vehicle brand new in 2015 with 6 miles on it. 1. The vehicle has always shifted hard, but every time I brought it up at the dealership I was told that "the car is just learning my driving habits" Here we are 10 years later and my car is still shifting hard and it still won't fall into gear like it's supposed to. 2. Within the first 6 months the airbag light came on and would throw a warning message on the display, to have it checked. Even after acknowledging that I had seen the message it would beep at me and come on almost immediately. I took it in to the dealership on 3 different occasions while it was still under the 3 year warranty. The first two times I asked about it the dealership told me that they found a water bottle stuck under the...

The 2 recalls R-24 and R-55 were both supposedly fixed at the hunt Chrysler in Franklin ky but my vehicle is still shifting up into neutral randomly I almost got hit because I was pulling out of a stop sign and the car stalled and went into neutral and I was stuck in the middle of the road and luckily nobody was coming so I had time to restart the car and get out of the way but the recall work they did was not done correctly otherwise they would have not called and said my car was ready to be picked up. Then they hung up on me when I called to see what I needed to do about getting my car back in to be fixed correctly and they literally hung up and refused to do their job and ensure that my vehicle is safe by correctly performing...
When not coming to a complete stop for at least 5 seconds and trying to get going again the car bogs down / hesitates almost feels like it has stalled for around 3 to 5 seconds then lurches forward and engine continues to rev even after accelerator has been released. For example coming up to a red light that turns green before you finish stopping, yield signs or slowing into a turn lane and trying to get across on-coming traffic. It is extremely dangerous and seriously needs to be looked into. I have seen several complaints about this. This is very common and needs to be fixed. This is also reoccurring problem that happens in these situations every time.

When going a certain speed car will jerk and shift roughly into next gear, Faulty air bag system shown on dashboard. Car had been struggling to start lately went to Autozone with the check engine light now showing. Diagnostic machine advised Power Train System issues / Antilock brake system issues. Codes: P1634, U0420-00, C2101-17, & C1246-1C Mileage: 111250 upon doing my research these are common issues with this vehicle but yet no recall could be found for my specific vehicles using Vin #
1) I believe there is a problem with my transmission shifting gears. I am willing to have it inspected. 2) There is a sudden and violent shift that happens when shifting between 3rd - 5th gear I believe but it's random, only a couple of times a month. I have had people with me and they thought I hit a deep pothole or hit something with my car like a small animal. 3)The issue has not been reproduced or confirmed by a dealership. 4) My car has not been inspected by any of the above except a dealership years ago when I mentioned it but nothing was found. My car model and year have a few recalls and transmission is one but no recalls have been issued for my specific car yet. I check yearly. 5) I do not get any warning lights, messages, or symptoms, my car just violently...
My vehicle has 3 recalls on it that are essential to the safety of the driver and those in the vehicle with the driver and they are refusing to cover this because I am not the original owner. I feel like this is not right considering that this is a Chrysler issue and they should be responsible for it. The car cuts off without warning due to the recall issue I could be on the highway, in a parking lot or just cruising in my neighborhood and it cuts off,

Any time I am coming to a stop from 40/45 mph the car would accelerate although I am breaking! This is not safe. It happens randomly while driving I could be in traffic and it will accelerate soon as I put my foot on the break.
I was barely coming off of the freeway during traffic hour when my dashboard randomly indicated to shift into parking gear, which I did, and then the car turned off on me right before at the top of a downhill. I couldn't shift into neutral and couldn't get the car to turn back on. There I was in the hot weather with a car in the middle of the road right off of the freeway exit without a clue as to what happened. I had to get towed and the vehicle is now at the dealer; they won't be able to take a look at it until 5 days after the occurrence.

Towed to transmission shop that said there were several Transmission codes (TCM Monitor Processing and TCM Failure Undetected). The car has 59000 miles on it and the transmission needs replacing.
