NHTSA Complaint #11647441 — 2015 CHRYSLER 200

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission unexpectedly downshifted, with several unknown warning lights flickering. The vehicle was able to be restarted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the catalytic converter had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 91,000.
