Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle failed to downshift and was jerking and hesitating. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the transmission was replaced; however, the failure persisted. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.
