My HCU is out and constantly dinging at me for no traction control and ABS. I know this is recalled and I have been waiting over a year and FCA still doesn't appear to have a remedy for this.
The vehicle had multiple unresolved safety defects from the time of purchase. The radio and electrical system never functioned correctly and could not be repaired despite repeated dealer visits. The stabilizer bar failed and fell out while driving, causing loss of steering stability. The vehicle is currently subject to an open federal safety recall for ABS/ESC/traction control loss with no repair remedy available. These defects created a serious crash risk and caused loss of safe use of the vehicle. The manufacturer and authorized dealer failed to repair the vehicle.
I had a safety recall V06 performed on my 2018 truck. Three local shops refused to do an alignment saying they can not perform the alignment without having a steering wheel misaligned. I find steering wheel misalignment to be a safety issue. In critical situations you don't have a reference where your wheels are straight. I it hard to comprehend that welding an adjustable part on steering would be an approved permanent remedy by NTHSA. These welds are rusting and prompt to crack.
The brake system and steering system are affected. Both are subject to open safety recalls that have not been fully resolved. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Unresolved brake and steering issues pose a serious safety risk, particularly when driving with my family. A failure or malfunction of either system could result in reduced stopping ability or loss of steering control, increasing the risk of an accident. Due to these unresolved safety concerns, I do not feel safe operating the vehicle. The issues are associated with acknowledged manufacturer recalls. However, my local dealership/manufacturing has failed to adequately respond or complete the necessary repairs, despite multiple attempts to address the problems. The vehicle has been presented to the dealership for recall-related concerns. No inspections by police or insurance representatives have occurred to date. Manufacturer involvement has been limited to customer service communications, without resolution. Symptoms include ongoing brake and...
RECALL V06/NHTSA 19V-021. I BOUGHT MY 2018 2500 RAM NEW IN 2019. ON 10-10-25 I PUT MY FIRST SET OF TIRES ON IT 37369 MILES. AFTER INSTALL OF TIRES. I WANTED AN ALIGNMENT.TECH TOOK TRUCK TO ALLIGNMENT RACK AND PULLED IT OFF REAL FAST. SALES REP TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT DO THE ALIGNMENT BECAUSE THE DRAG LINK WAS WELDED. I SHOWED HIM THE QR CODE IN MY OWNERS MANUAL WHICH HE SCANNED AND SAID THEY DONT WELD ON STEERING COMPONENTS AND TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER. I DID FELDMAN DODGE RAM AND ASKED THE REP. IF RAM WOULD REPLACE IT?? A MECHANIC WAS IN THE SERVICE AREA AND SAID THEY ONLY CUT ALIGN AND REWELD THEM AND THAT WOULD BE ADDITIONAL LABOR.THATS WHAT THEY DID. MY CONCERN IS HOW MANY TIMES CAN THE ADJUSTMENT SLEEVE AND NUTS BE CUT GROUND AND REWELDED BEFORE THE DRAG LINK FAILS AND...
I get a message that states Service air ride suspension immediately. After reading several ram forms it seems this is a big problem with these trucks. My airbags are completely inflated. I have not taken to the dealer because most of the forms I read says ram is aware of the problem but hasn't issued a recall.
Driving home from work, ABS and traction control light and warning started to go on and off nonstop every 2 seconds or so. No bumps on the road or excessive turning just a straight highway.. will contact dealer today for any recalls but I don’t see any open.

Death wobble while driving south on 95 approaching 71 MPH.
On 10/07/2022, I took the vehicle VIN number in reference for tire change at FIRESTONE Auto Care (440 S. Main St., Wichita, KS 67202-3720 - [316] 265-6659]). I also requested, wheels alignment and wheels/tire balance, and brake inspection. Upon those inspections, the technicians pointed out an IMPORTANT issue as follows: "IMPORTANT: This vehicle may be subject to a recall involving the toe adjuster. Search the internet for 'recall number 19V-021' for the latest information Under no circumstances should a weld from a recall repair be removed for any reason, including to perform an alignment. Removing the weld would remove a safety recall remedy that is currently in place., which would cause a serious vehicle safety issue. To adjust toe on a vehicle with a welded drag link in the WinToe procedure, choose 'select steering type' on the second tier of 'k-keys. Then, select the 'one tie rod' option. For more...
I was on vacation with my family and pulled over to the side of the road to get something from the back and the service abs electronic light came up. it was intermittently coming on and off. it really dampened our trip because i have been stranded with electrical issues in this truck before. my family was scared the brakes were going to fail and we reduced our trips into the mountain areas we had planned. being not fully trusting of this very expensive vehicle i thought would take me anywhere i need to go i tried to sell it back to the dealer, i signed all the sale paperwork feeling like today was the best deal and they wouldnt give me the same deal the next day. only to be told i needed to pick the truck back up because of the brake system hydraulic control and brake system...
The contact's family owns a 2018 Ram 2500. The contact stated that while driving at 48-55 MPH with the vehicle hitched to a tow trailer transporting a vehicle, the rear driver's side wheel inadvertently detached, rolled away, and crashed into the front end of a vehicle that was driving on the opposite direction. The contact engaged the trailer brakes and the vehicle brake pedal to stop his vehicle. The contact was able to veer to the side of the road. There were no injuries sustained. The contact stated as he was inspecting the rear driver's side wheel, he noticed that the wheel studs were missing. A police report was filed. The vehicle remained at the scene. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V398000 (WHEELS). The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 86,000. Consumer is...
Steering dang link , steering gear box has my steering throwing me all over the road . It's getting bad to almost causing wrecks and suspension is very bad . This has been getting really bad to the point of calling a lawyer
Regarding the Safety Recall V06 / NHTSA 19V-021 Drag Link. This issue regarding the jam nuts on the drag link needs to be remedied. It calls for welding an adjustable part of the steering linkage rendering it non- adjustable when having the front end aligned in the future. Not to mention the effect of welding, potentially causing a problem with the integrity of the metal. The correct fix for this SAFETY issue is to REPLACE this steering linkage component, the entire Drag Link! And NOT a weld job on the steering linkage of all things! I am appalled that NHTSA approved such a thing. PLEASE revisit this issue and do the right thing. Require Chrysler (FCA US LLC) to REPLACE this defective part with the proper part. Note.... Chrysler is not welding the nuts on the drag links on trucks coming off the assembly line! They are coming off with...

I PURCHASED THE TRUCKS USED FROM A DEALERSHIP RICK HENDRICK IN FAYETTEVILLE, NC. IN MARCH OF 2019. IT ONLY HAD 20,000 MILES ON IT. ISSUE ONE WAS THEY SOLD IT TO ME WITH PARTS THAT VOID WARRANTY PER CHRYSLER AND THIS WAS NOT DISCLOSED UP FRONT. MAIN PROBLEM I HAD TO THREATEN TO SUE IN ORDER TO GET MONEY BACK TO GET TIRES WITH THE CORRECT CLASS RATING AS I COULD NOT TOW WITH IT. NEXT ISSUE WAS THEY WOULD NOT WARRANTY BAD WHEEL BEARING OR BREAKS AT 37000 MILES WHICH PER THEM WAS DUE TO A LIFT KIT. THERE IS NO LIFT KIT ON THE TRUCK BUT SOMEONE INSTALL A LEVELING KIT. DODGE ALSO PERFORMED A WARRANTY RECALL ON THE TRUCK AFTER IT WAS PURCHASE WHICH IS THE D TRUCK DRAG LINK. IT HAS SINCE COME UNDONE AND THERE IS NO CORRECT FIX FOR THIS OR SOLUTION TO THIS...
