The contact owns a 2018 Ram 2500. The contact stated that the infotainment system ceased randomly without warning. The back-up camera was inoperable. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V398000 (Back Over Prevention) however, the Vin was not included. The vehicle was diagnosed and repaired; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and the contact was awaiting a response.
