A NEWLY BOUGHT 2018 HONDA CRV SEEMS TO HAVE A PROBLEM. THE OIL DIPSTICK SMELLS LIKE GASOLINE AFTER SITTING OVERNIGHT. NOT MANY MILES ON IT AND THOSE HAVE BEEN SHORT DISTANCE DRIVING.
2018 HONDA CRV, 8000 MILES, FUEL IS ENTERING THE CRANKCASE CREATING AN OVERFULL CONDITION. CONCERNS ARE NOXIOUS FUMES IN THE CABIN AND EXTREME EARLY WEAR OF ALL LUBRICATED ENGINE COMPONENTS. DEALER INFORMS ME THAT THIS IS A NORMAL CONDITION. I OPENED A CASE WITH HONDA AND WAS TOLD THE SAME . I INTEND TO SPEAK WITH THE DEALERSHIP OWNER AND ASK IF I MIGHT COME ONCE EACH WEEK AND ADD GASOLINE TO HIS OIL OVER THE NEXT YEAR.
I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO THE LOCAL DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES OVER CONCERN WITH GASOLINE MIXING WITH THE ENGINE OIL. ON MY FIRST VISIT, THEY ASKED ME TO PAY FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND THEY WOULD MARK THE LEVEL OF OIL. THE DEALER VERIFIED THE CHANGED OIL LEVEL WAS EXACTLY AT THE FULL LINE ON THE DIPSTICK. LESS THAN A WEEK LATER I NOTICED A STRONG SMELL OF GASOLINE AND TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY CHECKED AND VERIFIED THAT THE OIL LEVEL HAD INCREASED BY 1/2" AND SAID THEY WOULD CONTACT HONDA TECH SUPPORT. TWO DAYS LATER THEY SENT ME A MESSAGE SAYING THIS WAS PERFECTLY NORMAL. I HAVE NOTICED DECREASED ENGINE PERFORMANCE AND AM CONCERNED ABOUT STALLING AND SIGNIFICANT ENGINE DAMAGE.
I HAVE THE OIL DILUTION PROBLEM WITH MY 2018 CR-V. I BOUGHT THE CAR IN MARCH OF THIS YEAR, BRAND NEW. I CURRENTLY HAVE 9000 MILES AND HAD TO HAVE THE OIL CHANGED FOUR TIMES DUE TO GAS MIXING WITH THE OIL, STRONG GAS ODOR AND OIL OVER FULL. I HAVE ALSO HAD AN ISSUE WITH ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS COMING ON AT ONCE AND CYCLING OVER AND OVER, THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST THREE TIMES. I CONTACTED HONDA AMERICA AND WAS TOLD THIS WAS A NORMAL OCCURRENCE AND NO HARM WILL COME TO MY ENGINE. I DID NOT KNOW THIS WAS AN ISSUE UNTIL THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON.
I SMELLED GAS INSIDE THE CABIN DRIVING FOR SHORT DISTANCE 2X IN 4 DAYS. THIS IS FIRST DRIVE OF THE DAY AND/OR REALLY SHORT DISTANCES. CHECKED OIL AND IT HAD A SMALL HINT OF GAS SMELL IN IT TOO. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY COULDN'T DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND HAVE NOTHING FURTHER TO GO ON THERE. THEY SAID TO KEEP AN EYE ON IT. OIL LEVEL WAS WITHIN LIMIT. ONLY HAVE 500 MILES ON IT. THE FIRST TIME IT WAS REALLY COLD OUTSIDE (AROUND LOW TO MID 30S F). 2ND TIME AROUND 45ISH.
VEHICLE IS SHOWING AN UNUSUAL AMOUNT OF GASOLINE ENTERING INTO THE OIL THAT LUBRICATES THE ENGINE. HAVE BEEN READING ABOUT THIS ISSUE AT NUMEROUS SITES AND TOOK IT TO DEALER TODAY WHO VERIFIED THAT THE OIL LEVEL HAS RISEN ABOVE THE MAX MARK ON THE DIPSTICK AND IT DOES SMELL OF GASOLINE. I HAVE HAD NO OPERATIONAL ISSUES THUS FAR BUT KNOW THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR INTERNAL ENGINE PARTS. I HAVE APPROX. 4200 MILES ON THE VEHICLE AT THIS POINT. DEALER ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEM AND DOCUMENTED IT ON THE WORK ORDER. THEY ALSO CHANGED THE OIL AT THIS TIME. THEY INDICATED HONDA IS EXPECTING TO RELEASE SOME SORT OF SOLUTION IN MID NOV AND I WOULD BE CONTACTED BY EITHER THE DEALER OR HONDA DIRECT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 HONDA CR-V. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE CONTACT DETECTED AN ABNORMAL ODOR IN THE CABIN OF THE VEHICLE. THE ODOR WAS ALSO EVIDENT OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PAGE HONDA (LOCATED AT 1819 S TELEGRAPH RD, BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI 48302, (248) 333-3200) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS FUEL CONTAMINATION IN THE ENGINE OIL. AN OIL CHANGE WAS COMPLETED BY THE DEALER. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO INFORMED BY THE MECHANIC THAT THE MANUFACTURER ATTEMPTED, BUT FAILED TWICE IN PROVIDING A REMEDY FOR SIMILAR FAILURES WITH SIMILAR VEHICLES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,834.

WHEN TURNING LEFT ONTO 4-LANE HIGHWAY, THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED UNEXPECTED SEVERE HESITATION. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER ASKING FOR DIAGNOSIS, AND ANY ECU OR CVT SOFTWARE UPDATES. ON 10/4/2018 THE DEALER "COULD NOT REPLICATE" AND REPORTED SOFTWARE IS UP TO DATE. SEE ATTACHED INVOICE. ON 10/5/18 I READ THE CONSUMER'S UNION REPORT REGARDING ENGINE OIL DILUTION ON THIS VEHICLE. WHILE THE FILL LEVEL ON MY DIPSTICK IS ~1/8TH INCH ABOVE FULL, NO GASOLINE SMELL FROM THE DIPSTICK OR INTERIOR HAS OCCURRED TO DATE.
OIL LEVELS RISING ABOVE THE FULL MARK DUE TO GAS CONTAMINATION
TOOK VEHICLE TO TIRE DISCOUNTERS FOR FIRST OIL CHANGE AND WAS TOLD THE OIL LEVEL WAS HIGH AND THEY COULD SMELL GAS IN THE OIL. THEY INFORMED US THIS WAS A PROBLEM THAT HONDA WAS AWARE OF AND THEY RECOMMENDED THAT WE REPORT IT TO NHTSA.
ODOR OF GASOLINE IN THE ENGING OIL. WHEN CHECKING OIL LEVEL (DIPSTICK) OIL IS OVERFILLED AND SMELLS OF GASOLINE
TO MY REGRET, I JUST PURCHASED THE 2018 CRV EX 2WD YESTERDAY, 10/19/2018 BRAND NEW WITH 255 MILES ON IT. BASED ON THE COMPLAINTS ON THE TURBO CHARGED 1.5 L 190 HP ENGINE HAVING THE POSSIBILITY GAS IN THE OIL TANK, I REGRET THIS MAY BE TRUE. I FOUND THIS ON INFORMATION OUT ON CONSUMER REPORTS THE NIGHT BEFORE AND GREW ANXIOUS. THIS CAR WAS STATIONARY IN MY GARAGE. THIS MORNING BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE, I DECIDED TO CHECK THE OIL. I REMOVED THE DIPSTICK, AND IT HAD A STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE PRESENT. I HAVE HAD MANY CARS AND ALL BUT ONE NOT BY HONDA. NEVER SMELLED GASOLINE ON ANY OIL DIPSTICK IN MY LIFE. BUT I NEVER HAD A TURBO ENGINE EITHER. AT THIS POINT, I DO NOT KNOW HOW UNSAFE THIS CONDITION IN THE DAYS THAT FOLLOW. BUT I BELIEVE THIS DEFINITELY NOT GOOD.
THIS IS AN ADDENDUM TO COMPLAINT NUMBER 11140475. BESIDES A MAINTENANCE ISSUE OF THE OIL DILUTION BY GASOLINE LEAKAGE INTO THE CRANKCASE, AS REPORTED IN THAT COMPLAINT, THERE IS A SAFETY ISSUE WITH THE GASOLINE MIXING WITH THE ENGINE OIL ON THE 1.5 LITER TURBO. THERE ARE RAW GASOLINE FUMES IN THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING IN CITY TRAFFIC. THIS HAS CAUSED HEADACHES AND NAUSEA TO CHILDREN IN THE REAR PASSENGER SEAT AND PROBLEMS FOR THE DRIVER AS WELL. THE ONLY SOURCE OF THE GAS FUMES APPEARS TO BE THE GAS LEAKAGE INTO THE ENGINE.

PURCHASED THIS CAR FROM KEATING HONDA IN CONROE, TX. SINCE DAY 1 I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH MY LCD SCREEN THAT CONTROLS THE AUDIO AND CLIMATE. BOUGHT CAR IN MAY, 2018 AT SMART HONDA, IOWA. AT 1200 MILES , DISCOVERED GAS IN MY OIL. IT SMELLED OF GAS WHEN THE HEATER WAS ON. I HAD THE OIL CHANGED AT DEALER AND KEPT THE OLD OIL SAMPLE FOR REFERENCE. CONTACTED MANUF 'S CSR ON 10/17 AND REP SAID, WE WILL CHANGE THE OIL WHEN YOU WANT BUT THERE IS NO FIX YET AND NOTHING ON THE HORIZON. I CHECKED THE OIL WHEN THE CAR WAS STATIONARY AND DRIVE ONLY SHORT DISTANCES WHEN ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY AS I FEAR STALLING AND SEIZING OF THE ENGINE OCCURS UNDER THESE CONDITIONS. THE OLD OIL HAS THE VISCOSITY OF ALCOHOL AND IS BLACK. I AM GETTING POOR (26 MPG) MILEAGE AND THE OIL STICK WAS "OVER-TOPPED." MY CONCERN IS FUEL IN THE OIL WILL SHORTEN ENGINE LIFE.
OUR NEW 2018 HONDA CR-EX-L HAS THE 1.5L TURBO ENGINE. AFTER 1,012 TOTAL MILES, THE OIL WAS MORE THAN A QUART HIGH AND SMELLED OF GASOLINE. I HAD CHECKED THE OIL LEVEL WHEN WE RECEIVED THE VEHICLE NEW AND IT HAD BEEN NORMAL - BETWEEN THE UPPER AND LOWER MARKS WHILE COLD. I COULD SMELL GASOLINE BOTH ON THE RAG AND COMING FROM THE CRANKCASE. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE HONDA DEALERSHIP AND COMMUNICATED THE ABOVE PLUS I EXPRESSED SAFETY CONCERNS FROM THE GASOLINE. THE DEALERSHIP CONTACTED THE REGIONAL HONDA SERVICE REP AND THEY DECIDED TO CHANGE THE OIL AND FILTER AS A TEMPORARY SOLUTION. HONDA USA PAID FOR THE OIL CHANGE AND TOLD THE DEALER THAT 'WE KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND ARE WORKING ON A SOLUTION BUT WE DO NOT HAVE ONE YET.' HONDA WAS UNABLE TO ANSWER ANY OF OUR SAFETY RELATED CONCERNS. WE ASKED ABOUT:...
STARTED NOTICING ENGINE KNOCKING IN THE FIRST 500 MILES. VEHICLE ONLY HAS 2,509 MILES MOSTLY FREEWAY DRIVING. PURCHASED APRIL 2018. FIRST DROVE IT IN APRIL 409 MILES ROUND TRIP, AND THEN AGAIN IN MAY, SAME MILEAGE AND AGAIN IN AUGUST. ONLY STARTED DRIVING IT DAILY TO AND FROM WORK 16 MILES ROUND TRIP IN SEPTEMBER AND IT HAD 1600 MILES. I THEN DROVE IT ON OCTOBER 400 MILES ROUND TRIP AND NOW I SMELL GASOLINE IN CAR AND IT STALLED ON ME WHILE TRYING TO MAKE LEFT TURN IN INTERSECTION. ALSO LIGHTS AROUND MIRROR DO NOT STAY ON. THE CAR HAS A LOW SPEED HESITATION AND THE ENGINE OIL SMELLS LIKE GASOLINE.

THEY ARE WAITING FOR THE HONDA MANUFACTURER'S FIX WHICH SUPPOSE TO COME ON THIS NOVEMBER. NO ENGINE DIAGNOSE AND OIL CHANGE DONE.

I PURCHASED THIS 2018 CR-V AWD IN JANUARY 2018. NOW AS OF OCTOBER 2018, AFTER 10 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP WE ARE EXPERIENCING STRONG SMELLS OF FUEL INSIDE THE CABIN EVERYTIME WE DRIVE ON A COLD DAY. THE SYMPTOMS ARE IN LINE WITH THE OCTOBER 2018 CONSUMER REPORTS ARTICLE ON THIS KNOWN ISSUE. I CALLED MY DEALER ON OCTOBER 15, 2018 AND THEY HAVE NOTED THAT HONDA KNOWS OF THIS ISSUE AND DOES NOT HAVE A FIX. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS A CONCERN FOR A $30K+ VEHICLE AND THAT MYSELF AND MY YOUNG CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE EXPOSED TO THE SMELL OF FUEL EVERYTIME WE DRIVE THE CR-V.
MY CAR HAS STALLED TWICE IMMEDIATELY ON COLD START. THIS IS AN ISSUE AS BOTH TIMES IT RESULTED IN UNEXPECTED ROLLBACK, AS MY GARAGE IS ON A SLOPE, AND IT SEEMED LIKE THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS STILL "LOCKED" LIKE IN ENGINE OFF MODE, SO I ROLLED BACK DESPITE PRESSING THE PEDAL. THIS COULD BE A SERIOUS SAFETY CONSIDERATION IF I HAD PEOPLE AROUND MY CAR.
I HEARD ABOUT GASOLINE GETTING INTO ENGINE OIL ON SOME 2017 AND 2018 HONDA CR-VS WITH 1.5 LITER TURBO ENGINES, SO STARTED MONITORING MINE. I NOTED A GASOLINE ODOR ON THE OIL DIPSTICK, AND THE OIL LEVEL WAS SLOWLY INCREASING ABOVE THE FULL MARK. I TOOK THE CAR INTO MY HONDA DEALER ON 10/8/18 AND ASKED IF THEY HAD HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM. THEY SAID THEY HAD NOT. SHOWED THE SERVICE MANAGER MY CAR, AND HE STATED THAT THE GASOLINE ODOR IN THE OIL AND THE RISING OIL LEVEL WERE NOT NORMAL. I ALSO TOLD HIM I SOMETIMES SMELL A GASOLINE ODOR IN THE CABIN FOR A FEW SECONDS AFTER STARTING THE CAR. HE RECOMMENDED AN IMMEDIATE OIL CHANGE, WHICH WAS DONE THAT SAME DAY. HE SAID HE WOULD NOTIFY HONDA ABOUT MY PROBLEM AND WOULD ADVISE ME WHEN A FIX IS AVAILABLE. SO FAR I HAVE HAD NO DRIVABILITY...
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 HONDA CR-V. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND FLASHED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE ENGINE AND REGAIN NORMAL FUNCTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HELENA HONDA (3377 US HIGHWAY 12, EAST HELENA, MONTANA 59601, (877) 962-2573). THE DEALER INSPECTED THE ENGINE AREA FOR RODENTS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN CAUGHT IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, CAUSING THE ENGINE TO STALL. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO BRING THE VEHICLE BACK IF THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,980.

FUEL IS GETTING INTO THE OIL CAUSING DILUTION. MY OIL LEVEL HAS INCREASED AS A RESULT OF THAT AND IT CAN CAUSE THE OIL TO LOOSE VISCOSITY WHICH WON'T MAKE THE OIL AS EFFECTIVE ON THE ENGINE AND CAN CAUSE LONG TERM ENGINE DAMAGE. THIS IS HAPPENING IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. I HAD TO GET MY OIL CHANGE EARLY AT LESS THAN 3500 MILES BECAUSE THE SMELL OF OIL AND OIL LEVEL INCREASE WAS BAD.
THE VEHICLE SMELLS OF UN BURNT GASOLINE IN THE CABIN AND UNDER THE HOOD. I WENT TO CHECK THE OIL LEVEL AND IT APPEARED HIGHER THAN NORMAL AND IT SMELLED OF GASOLINE. ADDITIONALLY, THE DIPSTICK HAD A ODD SOLID RESIDUE ON IT. YOU CAN SEE IT IN THE ATTACHED PICTURE. WE HAD BROUGHT THE CAR TO HONDA THEY HAD KEPT IT FOR A FEW DAYS, THEY ACKNOWLEDGED THE ISSUE, AND STATED THEY HAD NO "FIX" FOR IT. THIS IS A MAJOR CONCERN CONSIDERING THIS IS A PRETTY MUCH BRAND NEW VEHICLE, ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT HONDA HAS NOTED CONCERN FOR THE VEHICLE RANDOMLY STALLING.
THERE IS GAS IN THE OIL. DASHBOARD CONTROLS ARE SHUTTING OFF , A STRONG SMELL OF GAS I. CABIN.REMOTE START WONT WORK
FUEL HAS LEAKED INTO THE OIL. THE OIL SMELLS LIKE FUEL AND IS A LEAST A QUART HIGH ON THE DIPSTICK. SMELL OF FUEL IN INTERIOR. WARNING LIGHTS COME ON
ENGINE OIL LEVEL IS INCREASING AND HAS AN ODOR OF GASOLINE. OIL VISCOSITY IS VERY THIN. VEHICLE IS ONLY SIX MONTHS OLD WITH JUST OVER 5000 MILES AFTER A RECENT OIL CHANGE BY THE DEALER, WITHIN 2 WEEKS THE OIL LEVEL HAD EXCEEDED THE "FULL" INDICATOR. I TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY CHECKED IT AND AGREED THERE WAS A PROBLEM. THE REPAIR DOCUMENT SAYS "THERE IS NO FIX FOR IT YET, HONDA WILL COME UP WITH SOMETHING". I HAVE GREAT CONCERNS FOR ENGINE DAMAGE AND SAFETY OF OPERATING THE VEHICLE
GAS SMELLING IN CAR WHEN DRIVING ON STREET. FOUND ENGINE OIL ABOVE MAXIMUM LEVEL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT NOTICED A STRONG FUEL ODOR IN THE VEHICLE WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ROBERTS HONDA (LOCATED AT 19 PARK LN, DOWNINGTOWN, PA 19335, (610) 269-8200) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE OIL WAS BEING DILUTED BY FUEL IN THE ENGINE, WHICH CAUSED THE ODOR IN THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ENGINE SHOULD BE REPLACED TO ALLEVIATE THE FUEL ODOR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ODOR BECAME MORE PREVALENT IN THE CABIN AFTER THE OIL CHANGE WAS COMPLETED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 09039894. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000.

STRONG SMELL OF GAS AT DIPSTICK. OIL ON DIPSTICK SHOWED OVER FILL LINE. WHEN STOPPED AT RAILROAD CROSSING HEARD LOUD BOOM THEN CAR SHOOK. WAITING ON RESPONSE FROM HONDA AND HONDA DEALER SERVICE.

DIPSTICK SMELLED OF GAS AND OIL LEVEL WAS HIGHER THAN FULL LEVEL.THIS WILL DAMAGE ENGINE. I WAS STOPPED AT RAILROAD CROSSING AND HEARD A BOOM AND CAR SHOOK. UNABLE TO GET STATEMENT FROM HONDA OR DEALER IF CAR SAFE TO DRIVE.
OIL LEVEL RISING DUE TO FUEL DILUTION
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 HONDA CR-V. WHEN THE CONTACT CHECKED THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL, HE FOUND FUEL MIXED WITH THE ENGINE OIL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HERITAGE HONDA BEL AIR (1800 BEL AIR ROAD, FALLSTON, MD 21047, 410-343-5644) AND THE ENGINE OIL WAS REPLACED, BUT THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHY FUEL WAS MIXED WITH THE ENGINE OIL. THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS NO REMEDY FOR THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100.
ON OR ABOUT OCTOBER 5TH, AFTER READING CONSUMER REPORTS ARTICLE ABOUT FUEL IN THE ENGINE OIL I WENT AND SMELLED MY 2018 HONDA CR-V'S AWD EX OIL DIP STICK AND SMELLED A VERY STRONG ODER OF FUEL. ON MONDAY OCT. 8TH I CALLED MY HONDA DEALERSHIP AND THEY ADVISED TO SCHEDULE SERVICE FOR A CHECK OF THE ISSUE. ON TUESDAY OCT 9TH I BROUGHT MY CR-V IN FOR SCHEDULED SERVICE CHECK, THE FOLLOWING IS THE SUMMARY OFF THE CUSTOMER'S COPY OF THE INVOICE. "CUSTOMER STATES THERE IS A FUEL SMELL MIXED WITH OIL STATES DIPSTICK SMELL LIKE FUEL - CHECK AND ADVISE ADVISED CUSTOMER THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND HONDA HAS YET TO COME UP WITH A COUNTER MEASURE FOR ISSUE AT THIS TIME ADVISED CUSTOMER HE WILL BE NOTIFIED WHEN FIX IS AVAILABLE." I WILL REPEAT "THIS IS A KNOW ISSUE AND HONDA HAS YET TO COME UP...

THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000.

GASOLINE IN LUBRICATION OIL IN 1.5 LITER TURBO CHARGED ENGINE. VEHICLE STATIONARY IN GARAGE. 6,000 MILES ON CAR. CHECKED OIL LEVEL WITH ENGINE COMPLETELY COLD. LEVEL ON DIP STICK WAS HALF AGAIN AS HIGH AS THE "HIGH" LEVEL MARK. FLUID ON DIP STICK SMELLED STRONGLY OF GASOLINE. DID THIS IN RESPONSE TO RECENT ARTICLES ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. HAVE CALLED DEALER WHO SAID 'BRING THE CAR IN AND WE WILL CHECK IT AND THEN DECIDE IF ANYTHING NEEDS TO BE DONE". I WILL REPORT RESULTS OF UPCOMING MEETING WITH DEALER. THIS SITUATION CANNOT BE GOOD FOR THE CAR.
GASOLINE PRESENT IN OIL. SMELL IN CABIN OF CAR. DIP STICK SMELLS OF GAS AND IS INDICATING OVER FILLED.
