I HAVE A 2017 F-250 WITH 24,000 MILES ON IT RECENTLY STARTED THE "DEATH WOBBLE". USUALLY ONLY HAPPENS AT HIGHER SPEEDS (60 OR BETTER) AND AFTER HITTING A "ROUGH PATCH" IN THE ROAD OR BRIDGE JOINTS. FORD SEEMS TO SAY IT'S BECAUSE SOME OF US AREN'T ALWAYS CARRYING +/- 1000 LBS OF CARGO. I HAVE NOW EXPERIENCED THE DEATH WOBBLE 6 TIMES WITH THIS TRUCK, ALL BETWEEN 65-80 MPH. THE LAST TWO ON 6/12/2020 AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THIS MEANS MY TRUCK FRONT END SUSPENSION AND EYEING SHAKES SO VIOLENTLY THAT YOU LITERALLY CANNOT CONTROL THE VEHICLE UNTIL REDUCTIONS SPEED BELOW 30 MPH. MY TRUCK HAS ALREADY BEEN TAKEN INTO THE DEALERSHIP TWICE TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM. TODAY WAS THE WORST SOO FAR. HAD TO REDUCE SPEED IN LA TRAFFIC TO 30 MPH FOR IT TO STOP. MY TRUCK HAS 25,600 MILES ON IT. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH I WENT OVER A BRIDGE EXPANSION JOINT. FORD DEALER SAID TRUCK WAS ABUSED AND THAT IS WHY PART WORE OUT. LOCAL MECHANIC ARGUED TRUCK WAS NOT ABUSED. I REPLACED TRACK BAR AT MY EXPENSE. FORD WOULD NOT WARRANTY PARTS. THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED FROM HAS BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE, THE LAST TIME THEY REPLACED A STEERING STABILIZER, IT HAS DONE IT SINCE THAT PART HAS BEEN REPLACED. IF A DRIVER WHERE TO PANIC WHILE THIS WAS HAPPENING, THIS ISSUE COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT OR FATALITY. I WILL BE TAKING THE TRUCK BACK AGAIN FOR THIS ISSUE NEXT WEEK BUT HAVE LITTLE FAITH IN THE REPAIR. A SOLUTION NEEDS TO BE MANDATED.

I HAVE EXPERIENCED WHAT HAS BEEN REFERRED TO AS THE "DEATH WOBBLE" FOR FORD TRUCKS. WHILE DRIVING ON I-35 IN OKLAHOMA (DECEMBER 2019), ABOUT 75 MPH, HIT A SMALL POTHOLE WHICH CAUSED THE FRONT END OF THE TRUCK TO SHAKE.
