Consumer Description

AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS (60-70 MPH) WITHOUT NOTICE THE STEERING WHEEL BEGINS TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY. IT STARTS OFF WITH SMALL VIBRATIONS, THEN PROGRESSES TO THE STEERING WHEEL ROTATING SHARPLY BACK AND FORTH. IT HAS DONE THIS THREE TIMES, USUALLY SLOWING DOWN WOULD STOP IT, THE LAST TIME IT DID THIS SLOWING DOWN DID NOT STOP IT. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE BROUGHT TO A COMPLETE STOP ON THE SIDE OF THE FREEWAY. THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED FROM HAS BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE, THE LAST TIME THEY REPLACED A STEERING STABILIZER, IT HAS DONE IT SINCE THAT PART HAS BEEN REPLACED. IF A DRIVER WHERE TO PANIC WHILE THIS WAS HAPPENING, THIS ISSUE COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT OR FATALITY. I WILL BE TAKING THE TRUCK BACK AGAIN FOR THIS ISSUE NEXT WEEK BUT HAVE LITTLE FAITH IN THE REPAIR. A SOLUTION NEEDS TO BE MANDATED.
