I was driving to my drs appointment and as I was pulling up to the hospital I saw a message from my dash and my steering wheel locked up and I had to get it towed and then sent to the dealership but since I had made a few of previous attempts to get it fixed with u guys it wasn’t getting no response, so I had to go get it fixed force and I ended up with a bill..
Ive had multiple accidents trying to get this car repaired . There are recalls all the way up to 2010 yet 2011 are also having the same hydraulic issues and ABS issues .This is outrageous i have to spent over 3000 dollars and the issues still is resolved especially when im paying for manufacturers error.I am not hard on any of my cars but this one is HORRIBLE
Power steering turns off when you go above a certain speed and the service advance power steering comes on.
Their is a recall for Ford Abs Module yet their needs to be one for 2012 Ford Fusions Se as well I have paid over 3200 dollars for my brakes alone . I have had 2 near misses and was in an unreported incident today from power loss on my breaks . Very unsafe for me and those around
Steering failed rack and pinion
The car suddenly accelerated 3 times since it was purchased new in 2011. The 1st time I was parking and the car suddenly accelerated and hit a cement wall. The second time I was also entering a parking spot and the car suddenly accelerated and crashed into a tree. I took it to my dealer and they were unable to replicate the problem. this was in 2015. On 9/13/2022 I was about to make a right turn and suddenly the car accelerated at high speed and crossed over the road onto the golf course before I was able to slow it down. I immediately parked the car and haven't driven it since. I feel that it is unsafe to drive especially since the dealer was unable to identify the problem.

RECENTLY, WHILE HER MOTHER WAS ATTEMPTING TO PARK THE VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE UNINTENDEDLY ACCELERATED OVER A PARKING BARRIER INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. HER MOTHER WAS PUMPING THE BRAKE PEDAL HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO IMMEDIATELY STOP. THE DRIVER AVOIDED CRASHING INTO A TREE BUT CLIPPED A STOP SIGN BEFORE THE VEHICLE CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. WHEN I WAS DRIVING ON THE PAVED ROAD ABOUT 15 MILES PER HOUR I LET OFF THE ACCELERATOR WHILE ENGAGING A SLIGHT CURVE IN THE ROAD AND THE CAR ALL OF A SUDDEN SPED UP OUT OF CONTROL. THE ADVANCETRAC SYSTEM HAS GONE BAD, FORCING ME TO LOSE POWER STEERING AND POWER TO THE ENGINE. INCREDIBLY HARD TO DIAGNOSE THE EXACT PROBLEM. REPLACED MULTIPLE SENSORS AND FUSES AND ISSUE STILL EXIST.

CITY TRAFFIC, 30MPH. ONLY HAD TRAVELED A FEW MILES. TEMPERATURE WAS IN THE LOW 90'S AND DEWPOINT IN THE LOW TO MID 60'S. WRENCH TOOL ICON ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE SHOOK AND TOTAL LOSS OF POWER. COULD ONLY GO 3-5 MPH. PULLED OFF THE ROAD. TURNED OFF CAR AND RESTARTED. ICON WAS OFF AND CAR RAN FINE. SERVICE SCAN TOOL DID NOT FIND ANY FAULTS. AFTER THE SCAN, THE DASH MESSAGE CENTER DISPLAYED THE MESSAGE: "SERVICE ADVANCETRAC". INTERMITTENT PROBLEM WITH NO OTHER ERROR MESSAGES AND APPEARS TO BE A COMMON ON FORD VEHICLES. SIMPLY RESTARTING THE VEHICLE SHOULD NOT ERASE THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION IF THIS OCCURS AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS BECAUSE OF THE TOTAL LOSS OF POWER.

(THE VEHICLE HAS 71500 AS OF THIS WRITING) BOTH TIMES THIS HAS OCCURRED AT APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH WHILE DRIVING ON A FLAT STRETCH OF ROAD AT A STEADY SPEED WITH LITTLE INPUT FROM THE ACCELERATOR. IN BOTH CIRCUMSTANCES THE CAR HAS THUDDED INTO "LIMP MODE" WHERE THE CAR CAN ONLY COAST OF THE ROAD. A RESTART SEEMS TO CLEAR THE PROBLEM.

WHILE DRIVING ON A CITY STREET CAR STALLS AND SHAKE THIS HAPPENED FOUR TIMES WITHIN TWO MONTHS, HAD IT DIAGNOSED AT A LOCAL SHOP NO CODE READING WAS DISCOVER.
I PURCHASED A USED 2012 FORD FUSION WITH 30K MILES ON IT IN 2015. WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AT 70MPH THE VEHICLE LOST ALL POWER CAUSING ME TO ALMOST CRASH. THE THROTTLE BODY WAS DIAGNOSED AS THE ISSUE AND WAS SUPPOSEDLY FIXED UNDER FORD CUSTOMER SATISFACTION 13N03. FAST FORWARD TO JULY 15TH, 2016 AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED WHILE ON THE FREEWAY. MY CAR IS NOW SITTING AT MY LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP AND EITHER THE DEALERSHIP ISN'T FIXING THE CAR CORRECTLY OR FORD HAS MORE ISSUES THEY ARE HIDING.
JULY 15,2016 MY 2012 FORD FUSION, WITH 30,212 MILES JERKED AND STALLED. HAD TO COAST TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. TO RESTART AND THE WRENCH LIGHT CAME ON. TOOK TO DEALER ON JULY 18 WAS TOLD IT SOUNDED LIKE THE EMISSION THROTTLE BUT HAVE TO RUN TEST I NEED TO PAY 115.00 THAT WOULD GO TOWARD THE REPAIR HAVE A EXTENDED WARRANTY BUT SHE STATES IT'S ON ME.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD FUSION. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL DEPRESSED, THE RPMS RAPIDLY INCREASED AND THE VEHICLE ATTEMPTED TO MOVE FORWARD WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT SHIFTED THE VEHICLE INTO NEUTRAL AND THE RPMS CONTINUED TO INCREASE. THE CONTACT POWERED THE VEHICLE OFF, WHICH POWERED THE ENGINE OFF. THE CONTACT LET THE VEHICLE SIT FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES, RESTARTED THE VEHICLE, AND IT RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.

I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH STALLING, LOSS OF ACCELERATION, DYING WITH MY FUSION. IT HESITATES WHEN DRIVING AND STALLS WHEN DRIVING AND STOPPED. THE WRENCH AND ENGINE LIGHT ARE ON AGAIN. I AM VERY CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY DUE TO THESE ISSUES AS THERE IS NEVER ANY WARNING OF WHEN IT'S GOING TO OCCUR. I HAVE PREVIOUSLY HAD MY THROTTLE BODY REPAIRED/REPLACED BUT THE SAME PROBLEMS CONTINUE.
WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY MY CAR STALLED OUT. I WAS ABLE TO PULLOVER ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE CAR STARTED LIKE JERKING. THE WRENCH LIGHT CAME ON AS WELL AS THE ENGINE LIGHT. IT STARTED RIGHT BACK UP. IT STOPPED FOR AWHILE, BUT IT'S BEEN DOING IT MORE OFTEN NOW.
DRIVING ONE DAY HAD JUST TOOK OFF SO WASN'T GOING THAT FAST AN WAS APPROACHING A TURN AND FOUND OUT THAT I HAD TO HOLD THE STEERING WHEEL REAL TIGHT BECAUSE I COULD NOT TURN THE CAR .TRIED TO GET MY CAR FIXED AS A MATTER OF FACT I DID TAKE IT TO A FORD DEALERSHIP AND GOT CHARGED FOR SOMETHING THAT I THOUGHT WAS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM BUT DIDN'T THE PROBLEM CAME BACK . BOUGHT A 2012 FORD FUSION BRAND NEW FROM A DEALERSHIP. FIRST INCIDENT OCCURRED WITHIN FIRST 2 YRS OF OWNERSHIP WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH DOWN AN INCLINE - SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER. STEERING WHEEL SUDDENLY LOCKED, AND FELT ENGINE POWER REDUCE. DASH WARNING SOUNDED AND SAW 'POWER STEERING FAULT, SERVICE POWERTRAC' LIGHT UP. TURNED IGNITION OFF AND BACK ON AND WAS ABLE...
WHILE DRIVING, THE CAR BEGAN TO SHAKE AND JERK LIKE THE ENGINE WANTED TO DIE. THEN I LOST ENGINE POWER. THE CAR STILL HAD POWER AND WAS ON, BUT THERE WAS NO THROTTLE WHEN I PUSHED THE GAS. WHILE DRIVING ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AT A SET RATE OF SPEED THE CAR ACTED AS IF IT WAS TRYING TO SHIFT GEARS AND BUCKED, RPM'S WENT UP AND THEN BACK TO NORMAL.
