TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS WHEN THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED WITHOUT WARNING AND CRASHED INTO THE VACUUM MACHINE AT A CAR WASH. THE CONTACT APPLIED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL BUT THE VEHICLE DELAYED TO RESPOND. THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES ,POLICE REPORT, AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT, OR FIRE.THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO JARRETT FORD OF CHARLOTTE COUNTY 3156 TAMIAMI TRAIL, PORT CHARLOTTE, FL 33952(941) 625 6141 BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,000.
