TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD FUSION. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED AND THE GEAR SHIFT SELECTOR WAS IN THE PARK POSITION, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY ACCELERATED. THE VEHICLE JUMPED A CURB AND CRASHED INTO A GUARDRAIL AT A BUS STOP. THE INCIDENT BLEW OUT THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO DICK SMITH FORD (LOCATED AT 9505 E STATE RTE 350, RAYTOWN, MO 64133, (816) 353-1495), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000.
