My airbag light is on and the dealership says I have no active recalls but when I ask about recall number 11V-107 no one can confirm the when and where for this recall. I would like it repaired at no cost and the criteria of this recall number.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH WHEN A VEHICLE SLIPPED ON ICE IN FRONT OF THEIR VEHICLE, IN ORDER TO AVOID CRASHING, THE CONTACT ENDED UP STEERING INTO A NEARBY DITCH CRASHING INTO TREES. THE SEAT BELT BUCKLE FAILED TO SECURE THE SEAT BELT CAUSING IT TO SWING AND HIT THE CONTACT. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TOWED. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SEAT BELT CAUSED HIS TEETH TO BE FRACTURED AND MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NEEDED. JUST PURCHASED VEHICLE AIR BAG LIGHT FLASHES AND TURNS ON WHEN DRIVING LOOKED INTO ISSUE. FOUND RECALL FOR AIRBAG THAT CAUSES THIS. RECALL 11S18B. CONTACTED FORD THEY SAID RECALL HAD NOT BEEN PERFORMED AND SET UP APPOINTMENT TO HAVE IT DONE. FORD COMPLETED RECALL. PICKED UP VEHICLE DROVE 1000 FEET AIRBAG LIGHT CAME BACK ON. TURNED AROUND AND INFORMED SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THEY TOLD ME THE RECALL HAS NOTHING TO SO WITH THE AIRBAG OR LIGHT AND THAT IF I PAY 100 THEY WILL DIAGNOSE VEHICLE. I INFORMED THEM THAT IT SHOWS RIGHT ON FOR THAT THE RECALL CAUSES LIGHT TO FLASH AND POSSIBLY AIRBAG TO DEPLOY. THEY TOLD ME IT DOES NOT AND I WAS WRONG AND SENT ME ON MY WAY

AUFFENBERG FORD O'FALLON (115 REGENCY PARK, O'FALLON, IL 62269, (618) 632-0090) REPLACED THE CLOCK SPRING ASSEMBLY ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE AS WELL AS THE WIRING HARNESS ON MARCH 22, 2011, BUT THE REMEDY FAILED. ON MARCH 25, 2015, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO REPLACED THE SAME PARTS, BUT THE REMEDY FAILED AGAIN AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG INDICATOR FLASHED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THEY WERE ONLY REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE RECALL REPAIR ONE TIME. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

TAKATA RECALL---MY DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED AROUND OCT OF 2015. I STARTED THE VEHICLE IN A PARKING LOT, PUT MY SEAT BELT ON, PUT THE TRANSMISSION IN REVERSE AND THE BAG EXPLODED BEFORE EVEN LETTING OFF THE BRAKE. IT STARTLED ME BEYOND BELIEF, THE HORN WOULD NOT SHUT OFF, THE CLOUD OF IGNITION WAS ALL OVER ME AND FILLED THE CAB, AND THE IGNITOR BRUISED MY HAND. I CALLED FORD AND THEY SAID IT WAS A RECALL AND I HAD IT TOWED TO LEIF JOHNSON FORD IN AUSTIN TX. THE VEHICLE SAT IN THEIR LOT FOR ONE WEEK AS THE DEALER AND MYSELF WENT BACK AND FORTH WITH FORD HQ IN MICHIGAN. I FINALLY ENDED PICKING UP THE TRUCK BECAUSE I NEED IT FOR WORK. VEHICLE WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP. TRUCK WAS REAR ENDED (BY VEHICLE GOING ABOUT 35 MPH) AND THEN PUSHED INTO THE VEHICLE DIRECTLY IN FRONT. IMPACT WAS ENOUGH TO CAUSE THE DRIVER'S SEAT TO BREAK, BUT THE AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED.

FRONT END COLLISION INTO THE REAR OF ANOTHER TRUCK. WHOLE FRONT END DAMAGED THROUGH RADIATOR, HOOD, HEADLIGHTS, BUMPERS ETC. NOW, A MINUTE OR SO AFTER STARTING VEHICLE AN ALARM SOUNDS, 5 LOW SOUNDING BEEPS IN 5 ROUNDS, WILL DO IT ABOUT EVERY 30 MINUTES, SAME ALARM CYCLE. JUNE 24, 2012 DEAR FORD MOTOR COMPANY, I OWN A 2005 FORD F150 4X4 CREW CAB TRUCK, WHICH I HAVE HAD SINCE 2005, AND WHICH YOU HAVE EXCLUDED FROM YOUR PRESENT RECALL OF 2005-2006 FORD F150'S. HOWEVER, IT HAS PRESENTED AN ILLUMINATED AIR BAG LIGHT EVERY TIME IT HAS BEEN STARTED NOW FOR OVER 2 YEARS.THIS I HAVE LEARNED IS THE SINGLE WARNING SIGN CAPABLE OF WARNING OF ITS FAULTY AIR BAG SYSTEM. AFTER DRIVING THROUGH A SHALLOW (LESS THAN 6 INCHES DEEP) PUDDLE, MY AIRBAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON MY DASHBOARD, ACCOMPANIED BY A WARNING CHIME. THE FORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS A FAULTY FRONT IMPACT SENSOR, WHICH SHORTED OUT. THE SHORTED SENSOR, IN TURN, SHORTED OUT THE ENTIRE RESTRAINT SYSTEM MODULE (THE "BRAIN BOX" ). AFTER INVESTIGATING ON THE INTERNET, I HAVE FOUND SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE WITH SIMILAR PROBLEMS. IT SEEMS THAT THE LOCATION OF THE FRONT IMPACT SENSOR, PLACED ON THE HOOD LATCH SUPPORT, MAKES THE SENSOR SUSCEPTIBLE TO WATER INFILTRATION. CORROSION THEN CAUSES THE SENSOR TO FAIL. FURTHERMORE, WITH THE FREEZE-THAW CYCLE IN MICHIGAN, WATER THAT IS ALLOWED TO ENTER THE SENSOR CAN EVENTUALLY CRACK THE HOUSING, ALLOWING EVEN MORE MOISTURE TO GET INSIDE.
