Consumer Description

THE "AIRBAG" INDICATOR LIGHT CAME ON. STAYED ON FOR ABOUT 6 WEEKS WHEN VEHICLE WAS IN USE, THEN TURNED OFF. NOW, A MINUTE OR SO AFTER STARTING VEHICLE AN ALARM SOUNDS, 5 LOW SOUNDING BEEPS IN 5 ROUNDS, WILL DO IT ABOUT EVERY 30 MINUTES, SAME ALARM CYCLE. ACCORDING TO THE OWNERS MANUAL THIS IS AN INDICATION OF A PROBLEM WITH THE AIRBAG SYSTEM. I THOUGHT I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR HAVING THIS FIXED. CURRENTLY WITH MY SCHEDULE AND FINANCIAL SITUATION I HAVE BEEN PUTTING OFF SERVICING THIS ISSUE HOWEVER, I HEARD ON THE NEWS EARLIER THIS WEEK ABOUT SEVERAL RECALLS AND MY VEHICLE FITS INTO THIS. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RECALL NOTICE FROM FORD. I'M NOT SURE IF MY VEHICLE IS ACTUALLY PART OF THIS, THIS IS WHY MY INQUIRY TO YOU. PLEASE ADVISE *TR
