DOOR AJAR ISSUE. DOOR IS LATCHED PROPERLY, BUT THE SENSOR IS FAULTY.
LEFT REAR PASSENGER DOOR IS AJAR. DRIVERS DOOR IS AJAR. LIGHTS WON'T GO OFF BECAUSE THE SENSORS SAY THE DOORS ARE OPEN. I BELIEVE THEY ARE SHUT. THIS HAS KILLED MY BATTERY. IT HAPPENS FREQUENTLY CAUSING STRESS NOT KNOWING IF MY CAR IS GOING TO START IN THE MORNING
DOOR AJAR NOTIFICATION STAYS ON WHEN DOOR IS CLOSED, RUNNING, AND WHILE DRIVING. THIS CAUSES THE LIGHTING TO REMAIN ON THUS DRAINING THE BATTERY.
DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYS ON EVEN WHEN THEIR DOORS ARE CERTAINLY CLOSED.
DOOR AJAR SENSOR IS FAILING. DOOR AJAR MESSAGE STAYS ON WITH DOOR CLOSED (DRIVER'S) MAKING DRIVING VERY DIFFICULT WITH CONSTANT WARNING BEEPS AND DOME LIGHT ON (EVEN AT NIGHT). I HAVE TO OPEN AND SHUT THE DOOR MULTIPLE TIMES VERY HARD FOR IT TO GO AWAY. MANY MANY PEOPLE HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE, AND APPARENTLY IT PROGRESSIVELY GETS WORSE UNTIL THEY HAVE CONSTANT BEEPING WARNING, DOME LIGHT ON WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT, DOORS THAT WON'T LOCK WHILE DRIVING AND THE CONSTANT RISK OF A DEAD BATTERY AFTER RETURNING TO THEIR PARKED VEHICLE. I'VE ALREADY HAD TO BUY A NEW BATTERY DUE TO THE DOME LIGHT STAYING ON AFTER PARKING. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND DESERVES A RECALL. THE CURRENT FIX APPARENTLY REQUIRES REPLACING THE ENTIRE LATCH FOR AROUND $400, EVERY TWO YEARS ON AVERAGE. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
WHEN YOU START YOUR CAR. A MESSAGE COMES ON THAT DOORS ARE NOT CLOSED. IT HAPPENS RANDOMLY EVERY TIME YOU DRIVE THE CAR. YOU CAN OPEN AND SHUT YOUR DOORS. ALL THE TIME. THE CAR ALSO RANDOMLY HONKS THE HORN AND THE LIGHTS ALL FLASH. WE HAVE CHANGED THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTES AND IT STILL HAPPENS. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR WHILE.
MALFUNCTIONING DOOR AJAR SENSOR STAYS REMAINS WHEN DOOR IS SECURELY CLOSED. CAN DRAIN THE BATTERY. HAD THE SENSOR IN DRIVER'S DOOR REPLACE WHILE UNDER MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY. THE REPLACEMENT SENSOR IS NOW MALFUNCTIONING AND THE VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY.
THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR AJAR IS CONSTANTLY ON. I HAVE OPENED AND SHUT THE DOOR MULTIPLE TIMES AND EVEN TRIED TO DO WHAT SOME YOUTUBE VIDEOS HAVE SHOWN. DOME LIGHT SOMETIMES STAYS ON AFTER I PARK, SOMETIMES GOES OFF. I WILL HAVE A DEAD BATTERY AND PROBABLY ADDITIONAL COSTS UNLESS I WANT TO PAY $400+ TO FORD TO FIX THIS KNOWN ISSUE.
THE DRIVER DOOR AND REAR DRIVER DOOR "DOOR AJAR" NOTIFICATION'S DO NOT TURN OFF, EVEN WHEN THE DOORS ARE CLOSED. THIS CAUSES THE DOME LIGHTS TO STAY ON WHICH DRAINS THE BATTERY, AND THEN THE VEHICLE WILL NOT START LATER. THIS ALSO PREVENTS THE DOORS FROM LOCKING WHILE DRIVING. THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE AND CAN NOT SEEM TO BE RESOLVED, EVEN AFTER A MECHANIC CLEANED AND LUBRICATED THE DOOR LATCHES.
THE PASSENGER REAR LEFT DOOR OPEN INDICATOR WILL NOT GO OFF THUS KEEPING MY DOME LIGHT ON AND DRAINING MY BATTERY NOT TO MENTION DOORS WILL NOT LOCK AUTOMATICALLY.
THE DOOR SENSOR WILL NOT GO OFF EVEN THOUGH THE DOOR IS COMPLETELY SHUT. I HAVE A 2012 FORD EDGE. KEEPS SAYING DOOR AJAR WHEN IT IS CLOSED.
THERE HAS BEEN A SERVICE BULLETIN ISSUED FOR A 'DOOR AJAR' WARNING WHEN THE CAR IS STARTED CAUSED BY THE FAILURE OF THE DRIVERS DOOR LATCH. THIS DOES NOT GO OUT WHEN THE CAR IS TURNED OFF. THIS RESULTS IN THE DOME LIGHT STAYING ON AND DRAINING THE BATTERY. NOT REPAIRING COULD RESULT IN THE INABILITY TO LOCK THE VEHICLE ELECTRONICALLY. THE FAILURE USUALLY OCCURS AFTER 50K MILES, LEAVING THE OWNER TO PAY FOR A COMMON AND EXPENSIVE PART FAILURE. I
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD EDGE. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND UNOCCUPIED WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, THE DOOR AJAR WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE DOOR AJAR CHIME WAS AUDIBLE AND THE ADVANCE TRAC WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER (HIXSON FORD OF MONROE, 6300 FRONTAGE RD, MONROE, LA 71202, (318) 388-3300) WAS CONTACTED, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,500.
THE VEHICLE REPORTS THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR IS AJAR WHEN IT IS SECURELY CLOSED. THIS OCCURS WHEN THE CAR IS STATIONARY AND IN MOTION. IT ALSO OCCURS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS NOT YET STARTED. THIS RESULTS IN AUDIO AND VISUAL ALARMS WHILE THE CAR IS RUNNING, AND INTERIOR LIGHTING WHICH REMAINS ON FOR LONG PERIODS WHEN THE CAR IS TURNED OFF.
DOOR LATCH SENSOR MALFUNCTIONING. THE DOOR WILL NOT SHUT OFF THE DOOR AJAR WARNING WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED. TWO DOORS HAVE ALREADY BEEN REPAIRED THROUGH OUR LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP, BOTH DRIVER SIDE DOORS, AND NOW THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR IS BEGINNING TO DO THE SAME THING.
AFTER RESEARCHING FORD EDGE RESEARCH THERE WERE SO MANY COMPLAINTS OF PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME THING OCCUR TO THEM. MY CAR WILL START AND BE DRIVING THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR LITERALLY LOOSES ALL POWER AND THE CAR SHUTS DOWN. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME TWICE AND IT APPEARS THAT FORD DOESN'T WANT TO ISSUE A RECALL ON THIS. PEOPLE'S LIVES ARE IN DANGER, THERE IS NO WARNING OF WHEN THIS WILL HAPPEN AND THEN YOU STUCK SITTING ON THE ROAD WHILE IN DRIVE AS YOUR CAR LOST POWER.
DISPLAY PANEL: DOOR AJAR INDICATOR. OPEN AND CLOSE THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR ON SEVERAL ACCOUNTS AND INDICATOR LIGHT WOULD NOT GO OUT ON THE DISPLAY PANEL. THIS INDICATOR REMAINS WHETHER STATIONARY OR IN MOTION.
INTERIOR LIGHTING AND REVIEW MIRRORS LIGHTING. THIS VEHICLE LIGHTING STAYS ON FOR AND EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME AFTER THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN PARKED AND REMOVED THE KEYS FROM THE IGNITION. THERE ARE TIMES WHEN THE LNTERIOR LIGHTS WILL BE ON WHEN PARKED OR IN A STATIONARY POSITION.
CAR HAS BEEN HAVING ELECTRIC ISSUES FOR A WHILE. USUALLY DETECTED ONCE TRYING TO START. FIRST ISSUE IS THE BACK UP CAMERA. THAT NO LONGER WORKS WHILE IN REVERSE. SCREEN INDICATED IT IS NOT AVAILABLE. WE ALSO RECENTLY HAD TO REPLACE THE SHIFTING COLUMN. AFTER A TRIP OF DRIVING COMING TO A FULL STOP SHIFTING TO PARK THE CAR WOULD NOT STAY ON "PARK". IT WOULD NOT CATCH THE GEAR UNLESS THE BUTTON ON THE SHIFT COLUMN WAS TOYED WITH A FEW TIMES PRESSING ON THE BUTTON SO CAR RECOGNIZES "PARK". IT WOULD SEARCH FOR "PARK" WHEN CAR WAS OFF WHICH WOULD CAUSE THE BATTERY TO EVENTUALLY DIE. WE FIRST PURCHASED A BATTERY THINKING IT'S TIME TO REPLACE BUT ONCE WE DID, IT KILLED OUR BATTERY AGAIN AND THEN IS WHEN I KNEW I HAD TO TAKE IT INTO FORD. $700+ TO FIX ISSUE CURRENTLY NOT RECALLED. THIS ALSO FORCED...
THE WARNING 'DRIVER DOOR IS AJAR' IS DISPLAYED ON THE DASHBOARD EVEN THOUGH THE DOOR IS CLOSED. THIS IS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM. THE WARNING IS DISPLAYED ONCE THE CAR IS STARTED AND WILL REMAIN ON WHILE THE CAR IS RUNNING. THE NEXT TIME THE CAR IS STARTED, THE WARNING MAY OR MAY NOT DISPLAY BUT IT DOES NOT CHANGE WHILE THE CAR IS RUNNING. I WOULD ESTIMATE THAT THE WARNING IS DISPLAYED ABOUT 1/2 OF THE TIME THE CAR IS STARTED. IF THE WARNING IS DISPLAYED, THE INTERIOR LIGHTS STAY ON FOR AN EXTENDED AMOUNT OF TIME AND THE DOORS DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY LOCK. ONCE THE CAR IS TURNED OFF, THE DOORS CANNOT BE LOCKED BY PRESSING THE RIGHT MOST TWO BUTTONS OF THE DOOR COMBINATION LOCK PANEL AND THE LIGHTS UNDER THE MIRRORS REMAIN LIT FOR AN EXTENDED AMOUNT OF TIME. IT HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR ABOUT 6...
DOOR AJAR SENSOR LIGHTS UP FOR DRIVERS DOOR WHEN IT IS SECURELY SHUT. THIS MAKES THE DOME LIGHT STAY ON AND CONSTANT WARNINGS PLACE UNNECESSARY STRAIN ON BATTERY. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AT NIGHT BECAUSE THE DOME LIGHT STAYS ON AS WELL. JUST PURCHASED THIS CAR IN JULY 2017 USED AND IT BEGAN THIS ISSUE IN SEPTEMBER 2017.
DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYS ON EVEN WHEN DOOR IS CLOSED. THE ISSUE IS CAUSING LIGHTS TO STAY ON AND DRAINING BATTERY. ALARM SYSTEM CANNOT BE ACTIVATED BECAUSE IT WILL GO OFF UNEXPECTEDLY IF IT SENSES THAT THE DOOR HAS BEEN OPENED.
FAULTY DOOR LATCH SENSOR ON REAR DRIVER SIDE DOOR. THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT COMES ON WHEN THE DOOR IS FULLY CLOSED CAUSING THE INTERIOR LIGHTS TO COME ON AS WELL. 09/15/2017 DRIVER DOOR AJAR CAME ON SHOWING DOOR WAS OPEN. CLOSED DOOR SEVERAL TIMES AND IT WOULD GO OFF. THIS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES UNTIL 10/10/2017. NOW IT WON'T GO OFF AND MY DOORS WOULDN'T AUTO LOCK WHEN IN MOTION AND WOULDN'T STAY LOCKED MANUALLY EITHER. MY DOME LIGH WOULD STAY ON ALSO. 10/16/2017 CAR WOULD NOT START, BATTERY WAS DRAINED AND NO LIGHTS WERE LEFT ON. CALLED GARAGE AND JUMP STARTED VEHICLE AND TOOK IT IN FOR REPAIRS. JUST GOT CALL THAT THE BATTERY AND DOOR AJAR SENSOR WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED. IT WILL COST ALMOST $800.00 TO FIX. THE WARRANTY JUST EXPIRED ON VEHICLE AND THAT LEAVES ME WITH THE BILL. I READ NUMEROUS OTHER COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME VEHICLE AND SAME PROBLEM. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON THIS. IT IS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE CHILDREN AND THE DOORS WON'T STAY LOCKED.

DRIVERS SIDE DOOR AJAR SENSOR IS DEFECTIVE. AT ABOUT 60K MILES, THE DRIVER DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYS ON. SLAMMING THE DOOR REPEATEDLY OVER A DOZEN TIMES WILL SOMETIMES TURN THE LIGHTS OFF. AFTER GOOGLING THE ISSUE I SEE THAT IT'S A PROBLEM FOR HUNDREDS OF FORD EDGE OWNERS BETWEEN THE YEARS 2011-2013. THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A SERIOUS RECALL ISSUE. THIS IS MY WIFE'S CAR AND SHE DRIVES OUR DAUGHTER TO SCHOOL AND PRACTICE. WHEN THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT WON'T GO OUT YOU CANNOT LOCK THE DOORS. AT NIGHT THE INTERIOR LIGHTS WON'T TURN OFF, SO IT'S HARD TO SEE OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE AND IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. IF SHE'S IN AN ACCIDENT AND THE DOORS FLY OPEN, DAMAGE WILL BE MUCH WORSE. IF SHE'S AT AN INTERSECTION AND A CRIMINAL OPENS HER DOOR BECAUSE SHE CAN'T LOCK THE CAR IT'S ON FORD. THERE'S A LACK OF OVERALL...
VEHICLE IS STATIONARY. DASH WARNING "DRIVER'S DOOR IS AJAR". DOOR IS CLOSED, BUT COMPUTER INDICATES THE DOOR IS NOT CLOSED. WHEN THIS OCCURS, A WARNING LIGHT APPEARS ON THE DASH INDICATING "DOOR IS AJAR". IF I DRIVE WITH THAT LIGHT ON, ANOTHER WARNING IS DISPLAYED TO "SHIFT TO PARK". WHEN WARNING IS ON, THE DOME LIGHTS STAY ON. IF I ATTEMPT TO LOCK THE CAR WITH THE REMOTE, THE HORN BEEPS TWICE (AS OPPOSED TO ONCE), INDICATING THE DOORS ARE NOT LOCKED.

THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE CAR BLOWS EXTREMELY HOT NO MATTER THE TEMP SETTING. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPING FOR OVER A YEAR NOW OFF AND ON. IT STARTED LAST WINTER WHEN THE PASSENGER SIDE BLEW ICY COLD NO MATTER THE TEMPERATURE SETTING. MY DRIVER SIDE DOOR ALWAYS SHOWS AJAR THEREFORE MY KICKS WILL NOT ENGAGE WHILE DRIVING . THIS MALFUNCTIONED 2 YEARS AGO
WHEN YOU CLOSE THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR, THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT REMAINS ON. ALL THE INTERIOR LIGHTS STILL LIT. THEY EVENTUALLY GO OFF ONCE YOU START DRIVING BUT WHEN YOU STOP IT DINGS, TELLING YOU TO PUT THE VEHICLE IN PARK DUE TO THE DOOR BEING AJAR. YOU CAN NOT LOCK ANY OF THE DOORS AT ALL, WHICH IS A SAFETY HAZARD. DUE TO THIS ISSUE IT CAN DRAIN YOUR BATTERY IF YOU DON'T SHUT THE DOOR OVER AND OVER AGAIN UNTIL IT REGISTERS THE DOOR IS CLOSED.
DOOR JAR LIGHT REMAINS ON (DRIVERS SIDE REAR DOOR). DRAINS BATTERY, CAUSES INTERIOR LIGHT TO TURN ON WHILE DRIVING. IT'S A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THE SWITCHES IN THE 2011-13 FORD EDGE AND FORD IS DOING NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM.
DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYS ON EVEN WHEN DOOR IS CLOSED. INTERIOR LIGHTS STAY ON WHILE DRIVING, DANGEROUS AT NIGHT. HAS ALREADY RAN BATTERY DOWN AND ALMOST STRANDED. I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE NEW AND NEVER BEEN MISTREATED AND GARAGE KEPT.

DRIVER'S DOOR LATCH IS NOT REGISTERING AS CLOSED. LIGHTS STAY ON, I CANNOT LOCK MY DOORS. MY BATTERY DIES IF IT IS NOT "SHUT". A LOT OF MONEY LOSS IN BATTERIES AND TIME LOST IN STANDING IN SOMETIMES SNOW OR RAIN FOR MINUTES TRYING TO GET IT TO REGISTER. ALSO, I HAVE CHILDREN AND WOULD PREFER MY CHILD IS UNABLE TO OPEN THEIR DOOR WHILE IN MOTION. PURCHASED THE CAR USED IN NOVEMBER 2015 AND IT STARTED MALFUNCTIONING AFTER A MONTH. I FIND IT SHOCKING THAT THERE IS NOT A RECALL ON THIS. IT IS AN OBVIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND VERY WELL KNOWN WITH DEALERSHIPS AND REPAIR SHOPS, BUT THE FIXING PRICE IS AROUND $500.

THE DOOR HAD TO BE OPENED AND CLOSED A COUPLE OF TIMES IN ORDER FOR THE WARNING INDICATOR TO GO OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BOULEVARD FORD IN LEWES, DELAWARE WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SENSOR AND LATCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED FOR TWO MONTHS. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR INDICATES OPEN/AJAR WHEN CLOSED. THIS LEADS TO MULTIPLE PROBLEMS -- DOORS WON'T LOCK, INTERIOR LIGHTS STAY ON, ETC.
DOOR LATCH SWITCH MALFUNCTION CAUSING DOOR AJAR WARNING WHEN DOOR IS CLOSED AND VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. DOOR LOCKS WILL NOT LOCK AND CHILD SAFETY REAR LOCKS DO NOT ENGAGE (CHILD CAN OPEN DOOR WHEN IN MOTION). CHILD HAS NOT FALLEN OUT THE DOOR YET. AM GETTING IT REPAIRED AT MY EXPENSE BECAUSE IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE.
DOOR AJAR ON MY DRIVER DOOR HAS BEEN CONTINUOUSLY ON EVEN THOUGH THE DOOR IS CLOSED. THIS OCCURS IN ALL SITUATIONS (DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AND STREETS, TURNING, AND STATIONARY). THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING SINCE MAY 22. THE DOOR AJAR SOUND CONTINUOUSLY GOING OFF HAS CAUSED ISSUES WHEN I TURN MY SIGNAL LIGHT ON AT A STOP SIGN. THE DOOR AJAR ALARM OVERRIDES THE SOUND OF THE TURN BLINKER. THIS HAS CAUSED ME AT TIMES TO LOOK AT MY DASHBOARD TO VERIFY THAT MY TURN SIGNAL IS ACTUALLY ON. THIS IS A DANGEROUS DEFECT THAT CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. THIS DEFECT ONLY LEAVES ME TWO DANGEROUS OPTIONS. 1. I CAN CHECK MY BLINKERS EVERY TIME THAT MY DOOR AJAR SOUND OVERRIDES THE BLINKER SOUND BUT THIS DISTRACTS ME FROM THE ROAD. 2. I ASSUME THAT MY BLINKER IS ALWAYS ON BUT THIS MIGHT RESULT IN A SITUATION WHERE THE BLINKER...
DOOR AJAR LIGHT COMES ON WHEN CAR DOOR IS SHUT. THIS CAUSES MY INSIDE LIGHTS TO STAY ON AND DELAY GOING OFF. THIS ALSO CAUSES MY DOORS NOT TO LOCK WHEN DRIVING.

MY 'DRIVER DOOR AJAR' WARNING SHOWS UP WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED AND SECURED. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL OF THE TIME, BUT, OFTEN ENOUGH. SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE SWITCH.
THE DOOR ADJAR SENSOR IS BAD. FORD HAS RECALLED OTHER VEHICLES FOR THIS AND THEY ARE THE SAME YEAR BUT NOT THE FORD EDGE.
REPEATED PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE. FIRST DOOR AJAR LIGHT HAS BEEN REPAIRED BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT SHUT OFF THE INTERIOR LIGHTS (NOT LEGAL TO DRIVE WITH THEM ON) AND THEREFORE DRAINED BATTERY. SAFETY HAZARD. ECOBOAST FAILED AND WE WERE TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT IT WAS A SAFETY HAZARD AND THAT WE COULD NOT DRIVE THE CAR....BIG EXPENSE! NOW A SECOND DOOR AJAR LIGHT WON'T GO OFF....DOORS DO NOT LOCK WHILE THE VEHICLE IS MOVING. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO STEP UP ON THESE ISSUES AND DO WHAT'S RIGHT. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT SPECIFIC VEHICLES WERE RECALLED FOR THESE ISSUES WHEN MANY OTHERS ARE EXPERIENCING, AND PAYING FOR THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM ON THE SAME YEAR VEHICLE. SOMETHING SMELLS ABOUT THIS. MAJORLY DISAPPOINTED IN FORD AND NHTSA. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LISTED COMPLAINTS ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES WE'VE HAD OVER THE PAST YEAR.
2012 FORD EDGE LOCKS UNLOCK WHEN DRIVING SOMETIMES.
DOOR SENSOR INDICATES THAT DOOR IS AJAR WHEN THE DOOR IS SECURELY CLOSED. IN MY CASE SPECIFICALLY THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR DOOR. PROBLEM WAS INTERMITTENT AT FIRST. NOW INDICATOR LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON. THE INSIDE LIGHTS STAY ILLUMINATED (AS IF A DOOR WAS OPEN) AND GO OUT A MINUTE AFTER DRIVING. THE ALARM WILL NOT SET UP AS THE VEHICLE THINKS A DOOR IS AJAR.
BATTERY DRAINS DUE TO SOME LIGHTS STAYING ON AS WELL AS DRIVER DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYING ON, ALTHOUGH ALL DOORS ARE SHUT. THESE ISSUES HAPPEND THUS FAR WHEN TRYING TO PARK THE VEHICLE AND WHEN ENTERING TO DRIVE. THE LIGHT WILL STAY ON DURING DRIVING.
THE REAR LEFT DOOR AJAR WARNING KEEPS COMING ON EVEN WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED. THE WARNING WILL POP ON WHILE THE CAR IS IN MOTION. THE LIGHTS ALSO POP ON WHEN THERE IS NO KEY IN THE IGNITION AND THE CAR IS PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY. I HAVE ALREADY HAD TO REPLACE MY BATTERY DUE TO THIS ISSUE.
FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDENCE SENSOR BLOCKED WARNING MESSAGE ON DASH ILLUMINATED FOLLOWING RAIN RENDERING COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM INNOPERATIVE. IT COMES ON AFTER A COUPLE OF MILES DRIVING
DOOR AJAR WARNING LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON WHEN STARTING OR DRIVING THE VEHICLE.
THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYS ON, EVEN WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED. THIS CAUSES THE INTERIOR LIGHTS TO STAY ON, AND PREVENTS THE DOORS FROM BEING LOCKED. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD BECAUSE THE DRIVER CAN'T SEE OUT THE WINDOWS AT NIGHT. IT STARTED INTERMITTENTLY, AND AT FIRST SEEMED TO RANDOMLY APPEAR AND DISAPPEAR. AFTER ABOUT ONE MONTH, IT NOW STAYS ON ALL THE TIME.
