The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle turned off independently but was able to be restarted. Additionally, the vehicle was difficult to start. The vehicle was taken to an independent shop, where the PCM was reprogrammed and an unknown fuel injector repair was performed; however, the failure recurred. The contact stated that while at a complete stop, the vehicle shut off independently but was able to be restarted. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that upon taking the vehicle to the dealer for the recall repair of NHTSA Campaign Number: 06V432000 (Power Train), the dealer informed the contact that the equipment and parts to do the recall repair were not available after the vehicle had remained at the dealer for two days. My 2006 chrysler pacifica van has a corrosive chassis about break into, (meanimg) my engine is about to fall & hit the ground, this is my second chrysler, my first was a 2005 chrysler pacifica, when I bout the first one in 2014 they replace the chassis but I never thought to search Up under this one out of (well) even after I had taken them to a CHRYSLER DEALER no one ever told me at DEALERSHIP that I needed a chassis on either one or the 2005 nor the 2006 chrysler pacifica even when I took them in for services, I just don't understand now nor did I not get the kind of service then, I have put all kind of money in these cars mostly this one, window motor, #5fuel injector,electronic ignition,oil pump sensor,radiator,evac sensor, front struts, brakes,,,,now the chassis the gasket near the water pump ,2nd gas...
I BOUGHT THE CAR AND 2 MONTHS LATER WHEN I WENT TO CHANGE THE OIL I NOTICED ABOUT HALD MY ENGINE CRADLE GONE DUE TO RUST
I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE UNDER THE IMPRESSION IT NEEDED A MOTOR MOUNT TO FIND OUT THAT THE SUB FRAME IS ROTTEN TO THE POINT IT'S A SAFETY ISSUE TO DRIVE. THE REST OF THE DETAILS MAY NOT BE OF INTEREST TO YOU BUT I AM THE SURVIVING SPOUSE OF A DECEASED VETERAN AND MOTHER OF HIS TWO CHILDREN. I'VE BEEN STRUGGLING TO RECUPERATE SINCE THEIR FATHER'S DEATH AND HEAVEN UNABLE TO DO TO THE PANDEMIC THAT'S WHAT I WAS ABOUT TO MY DAILY DRIVERS ENGINE SEIZED AND I EXHAUSTED ALL MY RESOURCES BUYING THIS VEHICLE THAT IS NOW DEEMED UNSAFE ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED
I TOOK MY CAR IN TODAY TO HAVE SHOCKS PUT ON AND WAS INFORMED THE ENGINE CRADLE WAS SO SEVERELY RUSTED THE RACK AND PINION WAS ABOUT TO DROP OUT OF THE CAR ALONG WITH THE MOTOR. I DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY EVERYDAY AND THIS WOULD HAVE BROKE IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO AND I WOULD PROBABLY BE SEVERELY INJURED OR WORSE.
ENTERED FREEWAY BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON AND LOST POWER. STARTING EXITING FREEWAY THEN CAR EXCELERATING ON ITS OWN. ENGINE WAS REVING AND HUMMING SO MUCH I THOUGHT THE ENGINE WOULD CATCH ON FIRE. CAR WOULD NOT SLOW DOWN. I HAD TO PUT IT IN NEUTRUAL AND HIT THE BRAKES AS I EXIT THE FREEWAY TO SAFELY PARKED. CALLED TOW TRUCK FOR SERVICE.
BOUGHT CAR 2018 FEB . NO MENTION OF WHOLE UNDER CARRIAGE RUSTED OUT - 2004-2008 CHRYSLER FORGOT TO SPRAY FOR RUST. WHEN WE GO WE BOUGHT IT LATER IN EVENING - WAS ASSURED THAT CAR HAD BEEN CHECKED OUT AND SOUND. WE HAVE DONE SOME REPAIRS ON OTHER THINGS - THERMOSTAT , RADIATOR , TIRES ABS SENSOR ISSUE BUT THERE WAS NO MENTION OF UNDERSIDE BEING RUSTED FROM FRONT TO BACK - TWO YEARS AND THE ENGINE IS GOING TO FALL OUT AND CAN NO LONGER DRIVE THE CAR. THIS CAR WAS SUBMERGED IN WATER SOMEWHERE BEFORE WE RECEIVED. THIS IS THE SHORTER VERSION OF THIS SITUATION. ALIGNMENT IS NOW WAY OFF , PULLS TO ONE SIDE OUT OF NOWHERE. WEARING ON TIRES- JUST TOOK IT INTO HEARTLAND TIRE BY HOUSE AND TOLD DO NOT DRIVE AND THAT FIXING IT WOULD BE OVER 3500 OR MORE.

THE CONTACT AND AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP, THE BATTERY, ALTERNATOR, THROTTLE BODY AND SEVERAL OTHER VARIOUS PARTS HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TEAM HODGES CHRYSLER DODGE RAM JEEP (2265 M-76, WEST BRANCH, MI 48661) AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SUBJECTED TO A RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 157,000.*DT*JB
AS IT WOULD SEEM IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM, THE OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT HAS FAILED AND LEAKS OIL ON AND INTO THE HARNESS PLUG. UPON RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE THIS SEEMS TO BE A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE AND CAN PRESENT BOTH A COSTLY FIX AND A FIRE HAZARD. WHILE DRIVING THE OIL PRESSURE WARNING INDICATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED INDICATING AN ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE'S OIL PRESSURE. UPON TAKING IT TO THE SHOP OT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT HAD FAILED AND WAS LEAKING OIL INTO AND ON THE HARNESS PLUG. THE VEHICLE IS SCHEDULED FOR REPAIR TOMORROW. *TR
ENGINE CRADLE ROTTING CAUSING INABILITY TO BE INSPECTED BY PERSONAL MECHANIC
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED, LOST POWER, AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED, IT RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A REPAIR SHOP, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE CRANKSHAFT SENSORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CRANKSHAFT SENSORS WERE REPLACED TWO TIMES. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V432000 (POWER TRAIN). THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 200,000.
THE ENGINE CRADLE IS COMPLETELY RUSTED THROUGH AND MOTOR MOUNTS AS WELL.I TOOK INTO A SHOP,HE REFUSED TO FIX MY IDLE PULLEY AND TOLD US IT'S UNSAFE TO DRIVE OUR 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA.

VA INSPECTION, BOTH EMISSION AND SAFETY, PASSED EVERY YEAR, LAST ONE BEING IN JULY 2019, WITHOUT ANY ISSUE. SINCE LATE JULY ABS SIGN CEASED TO APPEAR ANY MORE, AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS APPEARING STEADILY. IN DIAGNOSTICS P0700, P0732 AND P0720 CODES WERE RETURNED. NOW A DAYS, WHEN I COME TO A STOP/RED LIGHT, ON FULL BRAKE, ENGINE MAKES A JERK, AND SPEEDOMETER READING JUMPS FROM 0 TO 20 MPH. ALSO, BREAK PEDAL EXPERIENCES A PUSH-BACK, CAUSING TENDENCY TO DRIVE FORWARD. OVER 30 MPH GAS PEDAL DEMANDS MORE COMPRESSION, AND ENGINE MOTION ROARING ALSO SURGES, NO RATTLING. WHAT KIND OF RISK I AM CARRYING IN DRIVING THE VEHICLE, WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS, COST FOR REMEDY...
I ALWAYS GOT MY PACIFICA CHECKED AND THE OIL CHANGED ON A REGULAR BASIS AT THE SAME DEALERSHIP. THE LAST TIME I GOT AN OIL CHANGE, THEY ASKED ME TO COME OUT TO LOOK AT THE UNDERCARRIAGE OF MY VEHICLE. THEY SHOWED ME WHERE MY "ENGINE CRADLE" WAS SO RUSTED, THE ENGINE WAS READY TO FALL OUT. I WAS MORTIFIED, BECAUSE I DRIVE ON THE INTERSTATE EVERY DAY. CHRYSLER QUOTED ME A PRICE OF $4000. I DID NOT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY. THEY DETERMINED THE CAR AS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. I WENT HOME AND LOOKED ON THE INTERNET AND FOUND THAT THERE WERE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE LIKE ME WITH THE SAME COMPLAINT. CHRYSLER KNEW OF THIS ENGINE CRADLE RUST PROBLEM AND DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. I CALLED THE CORPORATE OFFICE OF CHRYSLER, AND ALL I GOT WAS THE RUN AROUND. THIS WAS VERY DANGEROUS, MY ENGINE COULD HAVE FALLEN...
I HAVE FAILED MOTOR MOUNTS AND WAS TOLD I SHOULD MAKE A REPORT AS IT IS SUCH A COMMON ISSUE THAT A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND WAS INFORMED THAT SHE SHOULD HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A CHRYSLER DEALER. FRED MARTIN SUPERSTORE (3195 BARBER RD, BARBERTON, OH 44203, (330) 753-4444) DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE ROD BEARING WAS DEFECTIVE. THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED THE FAILURE WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V432000 (POWER TRAIN). THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER BACK AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE REMEDY FOR THE RECALL HAD ALREADY BEEN PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE. THEY ALSO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT BECAUSE THEY FOUND NO DEFECT WITH THE VEHICLE, THE RECALL REPAIR WAS NEVER PERFORMED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 107,000.

THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE ENGINE COULD SEPARATE FROM THE SUBFRAME DUE TO THE SEVERE CORROSION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. ENGINE CRADLE MOUNT (SEVERLY RUSTED THROUGH). IT IS SO BAD, I CAN NO LONGER SAFELY DRIVE THIS CAR.
CAR ENGINE SOMETIMES SHUTS OFF WHEN DOING LEFT HAND TURNS, THE ENGINE LOOSES COMPLETE POWER WHEN THIS HAPPENS. I HAVE TO SHIFT THE CAR INTO PARK TO TURN IT BACK ON. THERE ARE EVAP CODES ON BUT THE CHECK ENGINE DOES NOT TURN ON FOR THESE CODES, SMELL OF UN-BURNT FUEL SOMETIMES MAKES IT IN THE CABIN. THANKFULLY THE STALL HAS NOT HAPPENED WITH CARS COMING TOWARDS ME. THE GAS CAP WARNING ON CONTINUOUSLY EVEN THOUGH I HAVE PURCHASED MANY NEW OEM GAS CAPS. THIS MAY BE RELATED TO: NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 04V113000, 06V432000, NHTSA ACTION NUMBER: EA06013, I INFORMED CHRYSLER BUT THEY SAID MY VIN IS NOT IN THE CURRENT RECALLS AND WAS REFERRED TO CONTACT NHTSA. MY PACIFICA HAS ALSO DEVELOPED A TICKING NOISE THAT HAS REDUCED THE GAS MILEAGE AND ENGINE POWER WHICH I BELIEVE THIS TO BE PART OF AN INTERNAL RECALL WHICH AGAIN CHRYSLER SAYS...
I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT MY ENGINE CRADLE IS RUSTED BEYOND REPAIR AND WILL NEED REPLACING. CHRYSLER RECALLED 2004-2005 IN RUST BELT AREAS TO REPLACE ENGINE CRADLE. THIS ISSUE AFFECTS 2004-2008 WHICH MY CAR IS A PART OF. THIS RUST ISSUE COULD CAUSE THE MOTOR TO FALL OUT FROM THE ENGINE CRADLE AND CAUSE SERIOUS SAFETY RISK

THE FRONT SUBFRAME IS RUSTED THREW WITH A FIST SIZE WHOLE .. NOW I HAVE TO PAY LABOR AND BUY PIECE CHRYSLER REFUSES TO HELP KNOWNING THE ISSUE THEY CAUSE COULD HURT MY FAMILY AN KIDS DRIVING IN THIS TRUCK IS UNFAR
THE CAR STALLS WHILE IN MOTION ON AN INCLINE, MAKING A LEFT OR RIGHT TURNS UP AN INCLINE, AND MAKING U-TURNS ON FLAT SURFACE. THE ENGINE WOULD JUST DIE, THEN I WOULD HAVE TO PUT IT IN PARK AND IT WOULD RESTART. THIS HAPPENED IN CITY STREETS IN SPEEDS UNDER 25MPH. THIS HAS HAPPENED OVER A DOZEN TIMES, 3 TIMES THIS MONTH. MECHANIC CANNOT FIX THE PROBLEM.

TOOK VEHICLE IN FOR EXHAUST REPAIR. WHEN HOISTED UP THE MECHANIC INFORMED ME OF ENGINE CRADLE ROT. HE SAID THE DRIP HOSE IS DRIPPING ONTO THE ENGINE CRADLE. CALLED CHRYSLER CUSTOME ASSISTANCE, THEY SENT ME TO ROSEVILLE CHRYSLER IN ROSEVILLE, MI FOR INSPECTION, UNDER CASE #32879012. SERVICE ADVISOR BRYAN COLLINS TOLD ME THE SAME THING ENGINE CRADLE ROT DUE TO DRIP HOSE DRIPPING ON ENGINE CRADLE. CHRYSLER CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE SAID NO RECALL ON VEHILCLE AND IT IS OUT OF WARRENTY. MY RESPONSIBILITY FOR REPAIR. I EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS AN ENGINERING DESIGN ERROR AND THE DRIP HOSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN LONG ENOUGH TO ROUTE IT PAST THE ENGINE CRADLE.
THE ENGINE CRADLE IS RUSTING OUT DUE TO CHRYSLERS INABILITY TO WANT TO FIX THE PROBLEM. MIGHT HAVE TO SEND THE CAR TO THE JUNKYARD
MOTOR MOUNTS ARE BROKE
TOOK CAR IN FOR ROUTINE OIL CHANGE. TECH CAME BACK AND SAID THAT THE ENGINE IS ABOUT READY TO FALL THROUGH DUE TO THE FRAME AND ENGINE CRADLE RUSTING THROUGH.
THE CROSS MEMBER THAT SUPPORTS THE DRIVE TRAIN IS RUSTED AT THE JOINTS WHERE IT MEETS THE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE. THIS AFFECTS BOTH STEERING AND SHIFTING, AS THE MOTOR WILL ACTUALLY SHIFT ON INITIAL PULL OFF; AND BECAUSE THE STEERING IS ANCHORED ON THE SAME MEMBER, LOOSENESS IN THE STEERING WHEEL CAN ALSO BE FELT. I NOTICED THE RUSTING ABOUT A YEAR AGO WHEN I WENT TO DO MY FIRST OIL CHANGE AS THE CAR OWNER. ON 9/12/2017 I WAS RIDING HOME AND HEARD A METALLIC CLANK, AS IF SOMETHING HAD FALLEN OFF OF THE VEHICLE. UPON ARRIVING AT HOME, I LOOKED UNDER THE VEHICLE. YOU CAN SEE THAT THE CROSS MEMBER IS RUSTING AND TWISTING UNDER THE LOAD OF THE ENGINE. I AM LEARY ABOUT DRIVING THE VEHICLE, BUT IT IS MY ONLY MODE OF TRANSPORTATION.
FRAME ROTTED OUT UNDER ENGINE, GARAGE SAID ENGINE COULD FALL OUT. THIS HAPPENED SEVERAL YEARS AGO JUST TOOK IT IN FOR AN ALIGNMENT AND THEY TOLD ME THE CAR WASN'T SAFE TO DRIVE.

I JUST PURCHASED MY VEHICLE A MONTH AGO AND I ALREADY HAVE ENGINE CRADLE CORROSION I WAS TOLD THE VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE AND WAS TOLD IT CAN SNAP AT ANY MINUTE WHICH CAN CAUSE FATALITIES OR SERIOUS INJURIES. I WAS ALSO TOLD MY VEHICLE HAS NO RESALE VALUE BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE. I WAS DRIVING ON CITY EXPRESSWAY AND STREETS AND NOTICED IT SOUNDED FUNNY DRIVING TOOK IT IN TO GET LOOKED AT AND THE MECHANIC EXPLAINED THE ISSUE WAS SERIOUS
2006 PACIFICA WITH 105,000 MILES. TOOK IN FOR SERVICE AND MECHANIC FOUND BADLY CORRODED ENGINE CRADLE. I CAN PEEL THE RUST AWAY AND PUT MY FINGERS IN THE HOLES AND GAPS IN THE CENTER SUPPORT TIE IN. IN ADDITION TO STRESS CRACKS IN THE LH SIDE OF THE ENGINE SUPPORT. DEALER TOLD ME NO WARRANTY COVERAGE, NO RECALL. CANT AFFORD REPAIR AND CAR IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. FRAME RUSTED OUT AFTER ONLY 11 YEARS OLD!! WHAT HAPPENED TO "MADE IN AMERICA" STOOD FOR QUALITY AND BEING A GOOD THING.
CAR BEGAN TO MAKE LOUD, ABRUPT KNOCKING NOISE FROM RIGHT SIDE, PASSENGER FRONT OF VEHICLE. WE TOOK IT TO THREE SEPARATE REPAIR SHOPS FOR EVALUATION AND AT ALL THREE REPAIRS SHOPS WERE TOLD THAT OUR ENGINE CRADLE WAS SO BADLY ROTTED AND RUSTED THAT THE CAR WAS NOT DRIVABLE. IT WAS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN AS THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION CAN BOTH DROP OUT OF THE VEHICLE AT ANY MOMENT WITHOUT WARNING. THIS HAS BEEN A KNOWN ISSUE TO CHRYSLER AND THEY ARE NOT ASSISTING CURRENT OWNERS WITH REPAIR.
ENGINE MOUNT/CRADLE HAS RUSTED THROUGH. THE CAR DOESN'T HAVE 100,000 MILES YET. THIS ISSUE PROBABLY STARTED YEARS AGO AND NO MECHANIC NOTIFIED ME BEFORE THE WARRANTY RAN OUT. I UNDERSTAND THAT CHRYSLER ISN'T COVERING 2006 MODELS EVEN THOUGH THEY KNOW THIS IS AN ISSUE. I WAS TOLD CONTINUING TO DRIVE THE CAR WAS DANGEROUS, BUT THIS IS A VERY COSTLY FIX - MORE THAN THE CAR IS WORTH - CONSIDERING CHRYSLER WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOT COATING THE ENGINE CRADLE TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING. IT IS AFFECTING STEERING AND HANDLING OF CAR AS WELL.
THE ENGINE CRADLE IS RUSTED OUT MAKING THIS CAR EXTREMELY UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THIS CAR HAS BEEN MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT ITS LIFE AND IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE OTHERWISE. HOWEVER, THE COST TO REPLACE THE CRADLE HAS BEEN QUOTED AT $2500.00.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS PREMATURE RUST AND CORROSION, WHICH DETERIORATED THE QUALITY OF THE ENGINE CRADLE. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE CRADLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE TO DETERMINE IF THEY COULD PROVIDE A SOLUTION AND DETERMINE IF THE SAME OEM PART WAS IN PRODUCTION OR IF A NEW MANUFACTURER DESIGNED THE ENGINE CRADLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I WAS ON FREEWAY DOING 60_70 MILES PER HOUR WHEN I NOTICED MY CAR FELT LIKE IT WAS NOT ACCELERATING AND GAS PEDAL FELT STIFF LIKE WHEN CAR IS OFF. I HAD MY WHOLE FAMILY IN CAR AND I COULD OF WRECKED IF I DIDN'T NOTICE IN TIME TO PUT CAR IN NEUTRAL AND RESTARTED IT SOME HOW BEFORE WE GOT REAR ENDED. I GOT OFF FREEWAY SOMEHOW AND TURNED CAR ON AND OFF AGAIN A FEW TIMES AND IT SEEMED LIKE IT WAS A ONE TIME THING . A FEW MILES LATER IT DID SAME THING AND I WAS STALLED OUT IN MIDDLE OF ON COMING TRAFFIC . CARS BRAKED AND SWERVED OUT OF MY WAY TO AVOID REAR ENDING US . MY CHILDREN WERE SCARED CAUSE OF THIS HAPPENING OUT OF THE BLUE. I NOW HAVE NO DESIRE TO EVEN DRIVE MY CAR WITH ANY OF MY FAMILY...

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH SEVERE ENGINE CRADLE RUST. THE VEHICLE WAS UNSAFE TO BE DRIVEN AND WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
THIS VEHICLE HAD A RECALL FROM CHRYSLER. I HAVE OWNED THIS 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA FWD TOURING MODEL SINCE BRAND NEW. WE LIVE IN MICHIGAN SO OF COURSE THERE ARE WINTER ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH CARS IN GENERAL. HOWEVER, THIS VEHICLE IS IN GREAT CONDITION GARAGE KEPT ALL OF ITS LIFE UNLESS DRIVING, NO SURFACE RUST,ETC ETC. BASICALLY A GREAT CAR. I WENT TO GET THE OIL CHANGED AND THE TECHNICIAN TOLD ME BY THE WAY THERE IS A BIG RUT HOLE IN THE SUB FRAME AND YOU MIGHT WANT TO HAVE THAT LOOKED AT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS SERVICED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V432000 (POWER TRAIN); HOWEVER, THE FUEL PUMP MODULE WAS NOT REPLACED. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS LEAKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, BUT THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE REPLICATED OR DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP, WATER PUMP, CAM SHAFT SENSOR, CATALYTIC CONVERTER, OXYGEN SENSOR, TIMING BELT, PVC VALVE, AND MULTIPLE OTHER PARTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. RECCALL F44 (FUEL PUMP MODULE). THIS RECALL WAS FOR REPAIR/REPLACE OF MODULE DUE TO FACT THAT PACIFICA CARS STALL WITH FAULTY UNIT. MY CAR HAS STALLED NUMEROUS TIMES. I TOOK TO DEALER AS INSTRUCTED BY RECALL LETTER. THE DEALER SAID THEY MADE REPAIR. MY VEHICLE CONTINUES TO STALL. DEALER WOULD NOT REPLACE PART AGAIN. I AM STUCK WITH A VEHICLE I CANNOT DRIVE BECAUSE IT IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE.
