THE DEALER OFFERED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE UNDER THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY, BUT WOULD NOT EXTEND THE WARRANTY TO 80,000 MILES IF A RECALL WAS ISSUED. THE CURRENT WARRANTY WAS FOR 60,000 MILES. THE CONTACT EXPRESSED CONCERN OF WHETHER SHE COULD TRUST THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,000.
