All Electronic Stability Control Esc Complaints
WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS BETWEEN 40 AND 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE WILL SUDDENLY STALL. FUEL LIGHT ENGINE PREHEAT WARNING LIGHTS WILL COME ON. IF THE CRUISE CONTROL AND/OR TOW HAUL ARE IN USE AT THE TIME OF THE STALL, THEY ARE SHUT OFF AT THE SAME TIME. ENGINE CAN USUALLY BE RESTARTED; ON A FEW OCCASIONS IT HAS BEEN NECESSARY TO TURN ON THE EMERGENCY FLASHERS AND ATTEMPT TO GET OUT OF TRAFFIC. THIS CREATES A HAZARDOUS SITUATION WHEN DRIVING ON INTERSTATE HIGHWAYS. THE STALLING HAS OCCURRED WHEN THE VEHICLE HAS NO LOAD AND ALSO WHEN PULLING A LIGHT WEIGHT FIFTH WHEEL CAMPER. WE HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO 2 LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIPS, THEY HAVE REPLACED PARTS (ACCELERATOR PEDAL, & A "FUEL MANAGEMENT MODULE) BUT HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL IN CORRECTING THE PROBLEM AND CLAIM TO BE UNAWARE OF ANY HISTORY OF PROBLEMS WITH THIS MODEL VEHICLE. *TR
MY 2004 FORD F250 SUPERDUTY TRUCK RAN VERY ROUGH AND STALLED IN MY FRONT YARD; AND WOULD NOT CRANK AGAIN. ON OCTOBER 5 2009, I HAD PURCHASED IT PRE-OWNED FROM DEALER, WILLIAM MIZELL FORD, ON CONDITIONS AND THAT THEY AGREED TO PROVIDE A CARFAX REPORT. WELL , THEY HESITATED AND TWO MONTHS LATER, AFTER THE TRUCK HAD STALLED, I WAS TOLD TOO BAD IT WAS SOLD AS IS. *TR
