FORD INDICATED THAT ANY REPAIRS FOR THIS DANGEROUS CONDITION WOULD BE AT OWNER EXPENSE. THE VEHICLE WAS PRODUCED ON THE ASSEMBLY LINE IN CHICAGO WHICH WAS THE ORIGIN OF THE VEHICLE DEFECT WHICH PROMPTED THE RECALL. HOWEVER, IT APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN ASSEMBLED APPROXIMATELY 1 MONTH AFTER THE RECALL CUT-OFF. I CONTEND THAT THE DEFECT WAS STILL PRESENT AND THE RECALL SHOULD BE BROADENED.
