2023 FISKER OCEAN Engine Problems

I was driving at 50 mph, midday, on a local road. All of a sudden, got a motor error, the motor light came up in red on the dash, all safety lights turned on on the dashboard - brake, adaptive assist (ADAS), motor fault, no safety features available. The car would not accelerate wit pushing the pedal and the car lost all propulsion. I was able to coast to the side of the road and come to a stop. No brakes were functional.

I began driving home from work with the vehicle at 75% charge. As I pulled onto the main road the vehicle experienced a regenerative braking error, then proceeded to lose power. The vehicle came to a halt and then displayed an error that the battery charge level was 0%. At this time every single error indicator on the dash became illuminated. The vehicle stopped in the travel lanes and was unable to shift into drive to move, and subsequently had to be towed. Due to the vehicle's unresponsiveness my safety was put at risk by having a vehicle that could not move out of the travel lanes on a busy road.

During high speeds on the highway the car starting making random beeping and booping alerts, every warning showed up on the dash and a notification quickly popped up that said something along the lines of battery failure and need service, then disappeared, then a red battery indicator remained displayed and the car's acceleration and regenerative breaking went dead. We managed to roll the car for about half a mile to the next exit and pulled over. My wife was driving at that time and when I got out of the car to switch with my wife, the problem went away and we weren't able to reproduce the problem. I have sent this issue to Fisker the day of and they are completely ignoring it. I've been hounding them everyday about this as well as all the other issues with the car and expired plates. When accelerating quickly in drive, the vehicle shifts into neutral, brakes, goes into park and shuts down. Technicians have repeated the issue and attempted to fix it but no solution has been found. The dash displays the message, "Brake System malfunction. Service Required." There are a few dash icons that display indicating a "System Fault," "Brake malfunction," and "ADAS fault."

Vehicle loses power/loss of throttle/loss of the accelerator. The first time this happened I was unaware and stuck in the middle of a turning lane when it lost power to the accelerator, after a couple of minutes the vehicle responded and because I was pressing on the pedal it kicked into full power mode sending me over a median into oncoming traffic. This situation not only put me and my child at risk it also put others. The same problem has happened multiple times I know better than to step on the pedal and not to panic. I spoke to my assigned Fisker technician, who stated it is a known problem. They have updated my software twice when was supposed to fix it but it has not. No warning lights or anything would warn anyone of this issue and Fisker claims nothing is unsafe. I also have a passenger door...

We were driving down a parkway and a yellow message flashed "battery malfunction" and the high-voltage battery fault came on and the car lost power while on a public road. I could break & steer but that was all. I was on a public road and had to coast down the hill (luckily was able to maintain speed) and there happened to be a parking lot I could coast into when we got to the bottom. I called road side assistance and gave them all the information, had my partner pick me and the kids up, and the car was later towed to my house. The car was at 70% Power and in Earth mode when all of this happened.
