I started having the oil pressure warning light come on same day after an oil change. It was a 3-hour drive, and the light will come on while my foot is on the break. Oil level was in the safe marker. Then I started feeling rumbling like I was driving a stick shift car. One major incident I was waiting for my turn at a light and when it turned green, the car was stalling but went. All of sudden it stopped and cut off and wouldn't crank back up. When it did the light was red and cars were going around me. It was running hot but started back up for me to drive home. But it I stopped it shuts off. The inside lights do a weird thing like comes on randomly while driving and it's scary at night. Also, if using the left turn signal the lights...

While driving the car is in process.. the engine will suddenly stop (stall). I loose all power to the car and is unable to stop the car or control the speed or any other functions of the car. The only way to stop the car immediately is to manually use the emergency breaks. My 3.6 liter engine is having the same engine defect as the 2.4 2000 Chrysler 200 engine N52... causing it to malfunction. Also sometimes when trying to start the car while turning the key in the ignition the engine begin to flood on its on and get completely stuck in that position..and become unable to process to start and run. Multiple issues, passenger window is a very common issue, looked on YouTube and found many videos for it was able to jump with direct power to the pigtail using wires and a battery and was able to roll it up but no explanation for why it ends up having this issue, heater core also a consistent issue, it is obvious with passenger side goes cold and 95% of the fix is a new heater core. Headrests popping, had the safety recall done 02chz28 (Recall S61) and never was mentioned or brought up by local dealer, both seatbelts are not functioning properly, passenger side is the worst, locks up and both are running along the plastic causing it to become deformed and wearing on the edges of the belts. Vehicle has obvious replacements on the front but no accident history. Hood is a different vin number and grill is not original...
Car shuts down suddenly while driving causing the wheel to lock up and breaks unable to be pressed.
Got my 2013 Chrysler 200 limited in March 2022 , car would stall and lose power about a couple times a week , took to garage they said it was the psm either had to be replaced or reset , but soon after that my heat stopped working on passanger side blew cold and driver side blew earm , now back on to the stalling , my fiance noticed when checking things under hood that the battery was grounded on top but he said from where it's grounded they should have never painted it , but cleared paint off area and corrosion off the battery terminals and areas and My car has not stalled out again
The Active Headrest Restraint (AHR) failed. It deployed without cause and was inspected by the dealer. The issue was a small piece of plastic used in the manufacturing process. My wife was driving the car and out of nowhere a loud noise and she was struck in the back of the head. Luckily, she was driving at a slower speed and no other cars were around, she nearly went completely into the other lane. Had other cars been on the road, there would have been an accident. We took the car to the dealership when it happened with the passenger headrest a couple of years ago and the guy told us he ordered the parts to fix it, but it would take six months. We went back and he no longer works there an never ordered any parts. Since only my wife drives this car, we just let it go...

The contact was able to pull to the shoulder of the roadway, where the vehicle was able to be restarted. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 13V282000 (Electrical System, Air Bags), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 172,000.
My first complaint is that my car stalls as I am actively driving. Whether I am using cruise control or physically pressing the gas pedal, the car just stalls out and I lose control of all steering function & have to try to get to the shoulder before I get slammed into on the highway. This happens at least twice weekly, all hours of the day or night, regardless of the weather or how much gas is in the tank, and I almost always have my children with me.There are not one, but TWO recalls for this specific issue which I just found today after months of Internet searching because I never received any notices.The recalls are Chrysler campaign N52 and NHTSA campaign 13v043000 - so how is it that those recalls don't apply to MY particular 2013 Chrysler 200? I’ve had to replace the alternator twice in 7 months. The car has turned off both of these instances while I was driving. I’ve spent a lot of money on parts, labor, and towing. When I am parked, the RPM goes up and down, it sounds like I am accelerating but I am not. When I come to a stop, the RPM jolts up. When I am at a complete stop, and ready to drive, the car jolts forward as if it were pushed.
Car stalled while going down highway. Engine light not on, has gas, no over heating. 3rd time this has happened. Wait a couple hours and it starts with no problem. I was told by mechanic it was probably just bad gas and not to worry. Cause no codes came up. Then today i was almost hit.

The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle needed to be diagnosed. The failure mileage was 120,000.

The contact stated that while driving approximately 35-40 MPH and approaching a four-way stop, the brake pedal was depressed and the vehicle inadvertently stalled and lost electrical power. The contact was able to restart the vehicle and continued to drive. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring while driving. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the battery and unknown sensors needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. My vehicle turns off like out of no where has done this three times also some oil is getting in the coolant take and when driving has a weird smell like gas or something

About 2yrs ago I had my alternator replaced when I broke down 2hrs from home by Jd ByRider in Owensboro Ky and yesterday I was driving down the street when I noticed my car wouldn’t kick into gear at 35mph. I got to the stop sign when traction light and ABS lights and brake light lit up on my dash and my stereo clock went black! I shut it off Tried to start it back and it just clicked. After finally getting it to start back up, on my message center it read rear lamp bulb out and dash just started flashing different things. My 2013 Chrysler 200 has stalled or shut off completely while driving. The steering wheel and brakes lock up and the car just stops running. There are never any warnings or lights ahead of time to indicate there is any problem. The car simply just shuts off while driving and will not start back up right away. After sitting for about an hour untouched, the car will start right up and run fine until it happens again. No mechanic can diagnose it because there are no lights or codes to run to say what the issue is. My third time this happened, I was in a busy intersection attempting to make a turn and was almost t-boned when my car couldn't move out of the intersection. Car is not picking up speed when your in drive, jerks badly, cuts off in the middle of driving, keeps killing the battery, drives about 5 miles an hr the max. Car has been at the chrysler dealership for over 6 months and it is still not fixed. They are saying that it's still doing the same thing as when I brought it in. VEHICLE DIED WHILE DRIVING 40-45 MPH IN TRAFFIC WOULD NOT RESTART UNTIL AFTER SITTING FOR 30 MIN TO 2 HOURS. THERE WAS NO WARNING BEFORE IT DIED, IT WAS RUNNING NORMALLY. AFTER IT RESTARTED THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT FLASHED THEN STAYED ON SOLID FOR A COUPLE DAYS. I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE CRANKSHFT POSITION SENSOR SO I HAD THAT REPLACED. THE CAR THEN 3 WEEKS LATER WHILE DRIVING STARTED CHUGGING REALLY BAD. I WAS THEN TOLD THE IGNITION COIL ON #2 CYLINDER WAS MISFIRING. I HAD THAT REPLACED ALONG WITH ALL SPARK PLUGS AND CAR RAN THE SAME AFTER DRIVING 4-5 MILES THEN DIED AND NO RESTART. THE REPAIR SHOP FOUND THE #2 IGNITION COIL MELTED INTO THE VALVE COVER AND IT HAD ALSO CRACKED THE VALVE COVER. THEY REPLACED THE VALVE COVER AND THE #2 IGNITION COIL AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN. I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR FOR 3 YEARS. A YEAR AFTER OWNING IT I BEGAN HAVING ISSUES WITH THE ENGINE SHUTTING DOWN WHILE DRIVING. THIS IS MY SECOND COMPLIANT, THOUGH I SHOULD'VE BEEN COMPLAINING SINCE BUYING THIS VEHICLE IN JUNE 2016. MY CAR WOULDN'T START AND THE ENGINE WOULD STALL, NO BATTERY ISSUE. I WENT FROM 45 MPH TO NOTHING WITHOUT ANY WARNING. I DOING 70MPH ON THE FWY AND THE CAR JUST LOST POWER. I TOOK IT TO A SHOP AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE FUEL PUMP. I HAD IT REPLACED. 1 WEEK LATER I TRIED TO START THE CAR AND IT WOULD NOT START. MY 2013 CHRYSLER 200 S KEEPS STALLING. I REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP, BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY, AND HAD MY ALTERNATOR AND TRANSMISSION LOOKED AT, ALL THE TRANSMISSION SHOP FOUND WAS AN OIL PRESSURE CODE, AND THEY CLEARED IT.

JUST PURCHASED THE CAR AND LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER BUYING, THE CAR SITS DEAD. NOTICED THERE WAS NO COOLANT IN THE OVERFLOW SO I ADDED COOLANT AND ONCE I GOT INTO MY VEHICLE IT HAD THE BATTERY LIGHT ILLUMINATED. REFERENCE RECALL P60 FOR ALTERNATOR DIODE ISSUE. THE COMPLAINT VEHICLE HAS AN INTERMITTENT ISSUE WITH A DEAD SHORT TO GROUND CONDITION WITHIN THE ALTERNATOR. VEHICLE RUNNING WILL INTERMITTENTLY DEAD SHORT TO GROUND. THE VEHICLE SHUTS OFF UNEXPECTEDLY IN THIS CONDITION AND THE BATTERY AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IS COMPLETELY SHORTED AND NONFUNCTIONAL. IN THIS CONDITION I REMOVED THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION TO THE ALTERNATOR AND VOLTAGE WAS RESTORED. REPLACED THE CABLE AND OBSERVED THE SHORT CONDITION AGAIN. IT IS VERY DISTURBING THAT THE SCOPE OF THIS ISSUE WAS NOT ADEQUATELY DEFINED INITIALLY. I HAVE ESCALATED THIS TO FCA DIRECTLY AND WAS PROVIDED WITH A REFERENCE NUMBER OF: 76150991, THEY HAVE SAID THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO AND THE REPAIR IS OUT-OF-POCKET UNTIL CHRYSLER ENGINEERING TO THE NHTSA MAKES A DIFFERENT DECISION. I TRULY BELIEVE THERE ARE SEVERAL PEOPLE WHO WILL UNKNOWINGLY REPLACE THE BATTERY AND START DRIVING AGAIN, PUTTING THEIR...
MY CHRYSLER 200 HAS BEEN TURNING OFF OUT OF NO WHERE. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR ANYTHING TURNS ON. MY CARS HORN GOES OFF RANDOMLY IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING AND WHEN PUT INTO PARK. AT RANDOM MY CARS DIES/STALLS. I COULD BE AT A STOP SIGN AND THE ENGINE LOSE POWER SHAKES THEN DIES. I COULD BE DRIVING IN TOWN CRUISING DOWN MAIN STREET AT 25MPH AND MY CAR ENGINE WILL LOSE POWER SHAKE THEN DIE WHILE I'M STILL DRIVING IN MOTION. I COULD BE DRIVING ON THE FREE WAY WITH SPEEDS AT 70 MPH AND MY CAR WILL JUST DIE, FOOT GOES ALL THE WAY IN PEDDLE WHEN DEAD. YOU COULD FEEL NO POWER IN THE CAR AND IT WILL ROLL OUT. ONCE THE CAR IS DEAD THE POWER STEERING IS OUT. IT'S VERY UNSAFE. I'VE BEEN BROKEN DOWN FOR HOURS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD OR MINUTES. THE ENGINE KEEPS STALLING WHILE DRIVING WITHOUT WARNING. IT IS UNABLE TO RESTART FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES, THEN WILL START UP NORMALLY AS IF NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO CHRYSLER SERVICE SEVERAL TIMES TO BE TOLD THAT NOTHING SHOWS UP ON THE DIAGNOSTIC AND THEY CANNOT DETERMINE THE ISSUE TO THIS VERY DANGEROUS PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM HAPPENS WHILE THE CAR IS IN MOTION AND CAN HAPPEN ANYTIME REGARDLESS OF SPEED, LOCATION, OR WHAT THE CAR IS DOING. IT HAPPENS REPEATEDLY, APPROXIMATELY EVERY 3 WEEKS.
THE TURN SIGNAL STARTED WORKING ON ITS OWN AND THE WIPERS STARTED WORKING ON THERE OWN THEN THEY JUST QUIT WORKING.
I HAVE A 2013 CHRYSLER 200 AND WITHIN 1 YEAR I HAD TO REPLACE THE THROTTLE BODY 5 TIMES. ALSO TO GET ONLY 16 MPG IS NOT RIGHT ON A 4 CYNPYNDER CAR
AS I WAS DRIVING MY CAR ON THE INTERSTATE, ALL OF MY LIGHTS CAME ON AND THEN IT COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. I TRIED TO START IT MULTIPLE TIMES, AND THEN WHEN IT FINALLY STARTED UP AGAIN, THE WHOLE ENGINE WAS SHAKING AND MADE MY MUFFLERS RATTLE AS WELL. THEN IT COMPLETELY SHUT OFF AGAIN. I HAVE A NEW BATTERY, FRESH OIL CHANGE, AND MY CAR HAS BEEN CHECKED FOR ISSUES AND NONE WERE FOUND. MY ENGINE HAS QUIVERED EVERY NOW AND THEN SINCE I BOUGHT IT IN JUNE OF 2016, IT IS A 2013. SOMETHING NEEDS DONE, THE COMPANY NEEDS TO ISSUE A RECALL BECAUSE THERE ARE MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME ISSUE. I DID CONTACT THE CHRYSLER COMPANY AND MADE THEM AWARE OF MY SITUATION.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 150,000.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS BEGAN OPERATING ON THEIR OWN, THE POWER DOORS WOULD LOCK AND UNLOCK ON THEIR OWN, AND ALL THE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE TO LANDMARK CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF ATLANTA (5745 PEACHTREE INDUSTRIAL BLVD, CHAMBLEE, GA 30341, (678) 825-6582) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,000.
THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM KEEPS DRAINING THE BATTERY WHICH MAKES THE CAR STALL IN THE MIDDLE OF OPERATION. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON THE ROADWAY AND IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN 2 YEARS THAT I HAD TO REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY ON THIS CAR. I ALSO HAD TO REPLACE FUSES ON THIS CAR. ALL THE HAZARD LIGHTS CAME ON BATTERY LIGHT, HAZARD LIGHTS, ALL THE LIGHTS IN DASHBOARD CAME ON. CARE ACCELERATED SLOWLY UNTIL IT TURNED OFF. COULDN'T DRIVE
NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, PRESSING ON BRAKE PEDAL WHILE AT A STOP SIGN OR RED LIGHT, AUTOMOBILE STALLS. PUT IT IN PARK AND RESTART, RPM RANGE VARIES. USE BRAKES TOO MUCH RPM INCREASES NEED TO STOP VEHICLE AND RESTART TO GET BETTER RPM AND DASHBOARD BLINKS FOR THE MILEAGE
MY CAR KEEPS GOING DEAD FOR NO REASON, THEN STARTS UP AFTER FIVE MINUTES.
ADJUSTED THE ELECTRICAL MIRROR THEN SHORTLY AFTER ADJUSTMENT SMOKE STARTED TO ROLL OUT FROM UNDER THE BUTTONS OF THE WINDOW CONTROLLERS AND MELTED THEM SLIGHTLY (DRIVER AND PASSENGER FRONT WINDOW BUTTONS) THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AND THEN STATIONARY DUE TO WE HAD TO EXIT THE VEHICLE DUE TO BE OVERCOME WITH SMOKE. WE WERE TURNING OFF A HIGHWAY TO A RESIDENTIAL STREET. WE THEN WAS ABLE TO GET BACK INTO THE CAR WHEN THERE WAS LITTLE SMOKE AND CONTINUE 1/2 MILE TO THE HOME WERE STAYING AT. WINDOW'S WILL NOT ROLL UP OR DOWN NOW. DUE TO THE SMOKE, I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE BACK TO MICHIGAN FROM WISCONSIN IN A WEEK. ALSO, THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BELT DOES NOT LOCK ONTO THE RESTRAINT LOCK. WHY DID IT NOT BLOW A FUSE BEFORE IT STARTED SMOKING?
TAKATA RECALL LAST TIME I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY GOING 70 MILES PER HOUR AND THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY LOST POWER WITH A SEMI TRUCK RIGHT BEHIND ME AND I HAD TO SWERVE OFF OF THE ROAD TO AVOID BEING HIT AND NEARLY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN THIS VEHICLE AND I'M IN FEAR FOR MY LIFE
APPROXIMATELY 2 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING MY 2013 CHRYSLER 200 LTD (6-CYL.; MILEAGE APPROX. 79K), THE CAR BEGAN RANDOMLY LOSING POWER AND STALLING OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING. WHEN THIS OCCURRED, I ONLY HAD A FEW SECONDS TO SLOWLY COAST TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO GET OFF THE HIGHWAY. THE CAR WOULD NOT RESTART, AND I HAD TO CALL A WRECKER. THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED 5 TIMES. ALL OF MY TRIPS WERE LOCAL WHEN THE ENGINE STALLS OCCURRED, AND EACH STALL CAME WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHILE I WAS SIMPLY CRUISING DOWN A HIGHWAY OR A CITY STREET, AND NOT TRAVELING UP OR DOWN ANY SIGNIFICANT SLOPES. WHEN THE CAR ENGINE DIED, THE DASHBOARD INDICATORS ALL ILLUMINATED WHILE THE ENGINE WAS DYING. I HAVE HAD CHRYSLER SERVICE RESPOND TO THE SCENE IMMEDIATELY TO GET DIAGNOSTICS, AND THE CAR IS NOT THROWING OUT ANY DIAGNOSTIC CODES. WHEN THE ENGINE DIES, IT...
