Driver seat belt gets stuck sometimes or sometimes does not want to click not often but pretty randomly. The driver window control panel also started to smoke for 5 minutes the smoke started coming out the whole driver panel door and caused excessive heat. Seems that something burnt it was smelling like burnt plastic .
When I purchased this vehicle there were no problems, no lights on my dash, the trim all matched and was the color blue. Then after having a falling out with some family members I started noticing problems with my HVAC system. It started with antifreeze leaks then id fix it and the next week the radiator hose would be leaking again. I started really keeping track of everything about my car after that. Next I started noticing parts changed and parts missing. My VSC fuse block in the engine bay is completely missing now. Next I started noticing while driving my seat would move without me doing anything. The family member that I had a falling out with is in the HVAC union also. Instrument panel (dashboard) is sticky. Safety issue is sticky dashboard is throwing a glare up on windshield, making it harder to see thru windshield clearly. This happens at any time of daylight. This is a recognized Toyota manufacturing defect. Issue has been confirmed by local Toyota dealer and also Toyota customer service. No other inspection has been done. Problem began about 2018.
ABS Brake Actuator failed, this malfunction came out of nowhere, making me unable to stop my car and putting my life at risk. I have not seen any official recall on this from Toyota, but I’ve seen many people have this same specific issues on Toyota forums. The ABS, brake, and slip light came on all at once while my car made a continuous beeping sound. This all happened as my brakes went out.
Had the vehicle progressively speed up at a high rate of speed was not due to the floor mats as that had been fixed along time ago on a recall before . I had to throw the car in neutral and then push the brake and power button for the vehicle to slow down safely ( happened twice ) . Both times not back to back on occasions months in between . Then one day had issues with the brakes and the vehicle not wanting to stop had the issue looked at by certified mechanic said my physical brakes on all sides front and back were visible sound and nothing to be causing the issue I was having . Dash cluster showed brake light and BAS light on, tachometer and speedometer dropped to zero while going approx. 40 MPH.
On July 11, 2021, my husband and I were driving to a location not far from our house, on a state road with a 45 mph speed limit, when "Check Hybrid System" and "Check VSC System" warnings began alternately appearing and I lost acceleration. I turned on my hazard lights and was eventually able to pull off on the side of the road. I turned off all power then restarted, at which point the engine resumed working and we were able to continue driving, but the "Check Hybrid System" and engine light warnings remained on. We were able to reset the computer system by disconnecting the negative terminal of the auxiliary battery (which had been replaced a few months ago) for ten minutes, but I travel over 700 miles at least monthly to take care of my elderly blind father, and I don't want this to happen while I'm driving...
VSC CHECK SYSTEM IS ON AT ALL TIMES AND MY CAR DOESN'T START AT ALL.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY, THE SPEEDOMETER AND ALL OF THE GAUGES STALLED OUT WHILE THE CAR WAS STILL RUNNING. THE CAR GAUGES CAME BACK ON AFTER A FEW MINUTES, PRESENTLY THE GAUGES ARE TAKING A LONGER TIME TO COME BACK ON, IN ADDITION WHILE THE GAUGES ARE OFF THE AIR CONDITIONER GOES OFF AS WELL, WHEN ALL THE GAUGES COME BACK ON THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT COMES ON. WE ARE AFRAID TO TAKE THE CARE OUT OF TOWN BECAUSE WHEN THE GAUGES GO OFF THE CAR IS HARD TO STEER. THIS CONTINUES TO HAPPEN EVERY TIME CAR IS DRIVEN.
VSC, ABS, AIR LIGHTS ARE ON. MAKES A PEAK SOUND WHEN I START MY CAR. IT STAYS FOR A LONG TIME AND GOES AWAY. DURING THIS TIME BREAK DOES NOT WORK AS NORMAL. FEELS HARD TO PRESS BREAK AND UNABLE TO STOP THE CAR. YESTERDAY WHEN I'M DRIVING SUDDENLY SOUND CAME ON AND I WAS UNABLE TO STOP THE CAR AS I NORMALLY CAN. WHEN I TRY TO PRESS THE BREAK. BREAK DOES NOT APPLY.
I ADJUSTED THE STEERING COLUMN WHILE AT A STOP LIGHT. WHEN I LOCKED EVERYTHING IN PLACE, THE AIRBAG LIGHT LIT UP. ALL OF THE CONTROLS ON THE STEERING WHEEL DO NOT WORK. I CAN'T USE THE HORN; TURN THE RADIO ON OR MAKE HANDS FREE CALLS. I TOOK IT TO TOYOTA AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE WIRING HARNESS FOR THE AIRBAG AND IT WAS AN EXPENSIVE REPAIR. THE ABS SENSOR/MODULE HAS GONE OUT AGAIN. I SPENT SEVERAL THOUSANDS IN REPAIRS AND DIAGNOSTICS YEARS AGO FOR THE SAME ISSUE. NOW IT HAS GONE CRAZY AGAIN. 3 DIFFERENT CONCERNS ISSUE #1: WHILE IN MOTION THE ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT COME ON, SPEEDOMETER GOES TO 0, OTHER GAUGES GO CRAZY. HAPPENS OFF AND ON THROUGHOUT THE DAY WHILE DRIVING. TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC, THEY SAID IT IS THE ABS MODULE GOING OUT, TO FIX IT WITH A BRAND NEW PART WOULD BE $1800. NOT ONLY IS IT DANGEROUS TO NOT BE ABLE TO SEE MY SPEED, ITS A POSSIBILITY MY ABS WOULDN'T KICK IN IF NEEDED. REGULAR BRAKES WORK FINE.
WHILE DRIVING MY 2007 CAMRY ON A TOWN HIGHWAY, I SMELLED SOMETHING BURNING. SMOKE STARTED TO FILL THE CABIN, AND I SAW A GLOWING FLAME WHERE THE SEAT WARMER BUTTON IS, ON THE CONSOLE. IMMEDIATELY, I TURNED OFF THE SEAT WARMER BUTTON. I LOOKED FOR A PLACE TO PULLOVER, HEARD A LOUD POPPING SOUND, SAW A LARGER FLAME AND BLACK SMOKE FILLED THE CAR. I PULLED OVER TO A SHELL STATION, CALLED 911, AND A MAN WITH FIRE EXTINGUISHER SPRAYED THE NOW CONSIDERABLE FIRE BURNING . THE BATTERY WAS DISCONNECTED AFTER THE FIRE WAS OUT, AND THE DAMAGE TO THE CAR IS NOT REPAIRABLE. A TOW CAR BROUGHT IT HOME. THE FIRE WAS ELECTRICAL WHEN IT STARTED AND THEN ESCALATED QUICKLY. . THE PARTS WERE REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO SEVERAL INDEPENDENT MECHANICS TO BE SERVICED, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
THE BRAKE LIGHTS SYSTEMS AND ABS LIGHTS COMES OUT AS I START THE CAR AND ALL GAUGES STOP WORKING, THE AC DON'T WORK WHEN THIS HAPPENS. I CAN'T TELL HOW FAST IM GOING BECAUSE THE SPEEDOMETER GAUGE FAILED TO PROVIDE THE CORRECT READING, THE ABS CONTROL MODULE AND EMERGENCY WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATES ON THE SCREEN. THIS HAPPENS WHILE I AM DRIVING, IT DOES RAMDONLY AND NOW IS MORE FRECUENTLY.

THE CONTACT SUSTAINED NECK AND LOWER BACK INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO COAST THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. WHEN THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE, IT FAILED TO START. THE CONTACT POWERED OFF AND RESTARTED THE ENGINE, BUT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO DRIVE AND BEGAN SHAKING. ALL THE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE AND LATER TOWED TO A COLLISION CENTER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PO171/02 SENSOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE DEALER WAS NOT...

ADDITIONALLY, ON ONE OCCASION WHILE DRIVING, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND THE TRUNK BECAME AJAR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. I HAVE CONTINUOUSLY HAD ISSUES WITH MY CARS IGNITION COILS AND VSC SYSTEM. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND VSC SYSTEM LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON AND EVEN THOUGH I'VE SPENT THOUSANDS OF OD DOLLARS ON REPAIRS THE LIGHT CONTINUES TO POP UP EVEN WITH REGULAR MAINTENANCE AND MULTIPLE REPAIRS. MY CAR MISFIRES AND TURNS OFF RANDOMLY THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE BUT I HAVE NO OTHER MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION. THE CAR MISFIRES IN IDLE,WHILE DRIVING AT LOW AND HIGH SPEEDS AND IT WONT TURN ON SOMETIMES UNTIL I CONNECT JUMPER CABLES TO THE BATTERY. WHEN I CONNECT THE JUMPER CABLES I NEVER NEED AN EXTRA SOURCE OF POWER I SIMPLY CONNECT ONE END OF THE CABLES TO THE BATTERY AND A FEW SECONDS LATER IT ALL THE LIGHTS TURN ON AGAIN AND THE CAR RESTARTS THE WHOLE SYSTEM.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 180,000.

INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILURE....WHILE DRIVING BRAKE AND ABS LIGHTS CUT ON AND SPEEDOMETER TACHOMETER TEMPERATURE GAUGE GAS GUAGE AND ODOMETER QUIT WORKING. THE AC ALSO BLOWS HOT AIR AND CAR SHAKES WHEN STOPPING OCCASIONALLY.THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR MONTHS AND STARTED AROUND 170000 MILES. DEALER WANTS TO CHARGE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO FIND PROBLEM. THAT'S HALF OF THE VALUE OF THE CAR. IT'S NOT WORTH THAT MUCH MONEY TO FIX. TOYOTA NEEDS TO DO A RECALL FOR THIS. IT IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN
(1) ABS MODULE HAS AN INTERMITTENT SHORT. WHEN IT FAILS THE SPEEDOMETER STOPS WORKING, ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT ON DASH COME ON, TEMP GAUGE AND TACH FLUCTUATE, AND THE A/C STOPS WORKING. THE SHORT IN MODULE WAS DIAGNOSED BY A TOYOTA DEALER. I UNDERSTAND ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS GO BAD BUT FOR IT TO EFFECT THE SPEEDOMETER AND A/C SEEMS LIKE A POOR DESIGN. (2) ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS MY ENGINE OIL LIGHT HAS COME ON. APPARENTLY THERE ARE ISSUES WITH EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION IN SOME MODEL TOYOTAS WITH PISTON RINGS FLAWS. DEALER HAS DONE OIL CONSUMPTION TESTS BUT UNABLE TO REPRODUCE PROBLEM.
ABS, SPEEDOMETER, TACHOMETER, RPM AND A/C JUMPS ON AND OFF ALL OVER THE PLACE. I TOOK IT TO A TOYOTA DEALER, COULD NOT FIND WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM BUT THEY ASSUMED IT MAY BE THE ABS MODULE OR SOME OTHER MODULES MAY NOT BE TALKING TO EACH OTHER. I HAVE RESEARCHED ON LINE TOYOTA CAMRY FORUMS AND AND FOUND THEY ARE LOTS OF TOYOTA CAMRY OWNERS WITH THE SAME ISSUES. THIS IS A VERY SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE IM NOT ABLE TO SEE AT THE SPEED MY CAR IS GOING WHEN DRIVING IT BECAUSE TACHOMETER GAUGES AMONG THE OTHERS GAUGES WORKING INTERMITTENT (ON AND OFF) I REQUEST FOR TOYOTA TO PLACE A RECALL FOR ALL TOYOTA CAMRY HAVING THIS MAYOR SAFETY ELECTRONICS PROBLEMS. HOOD OPEN WARNING LIGHT ON DASHBOARD AND CHIME ACTIVATES WHILE DRIVING ON SURFACE STREETS AND FREEWAY. I STOP TO CHECK HOOD AND IT IS SECURE. LIGHT AND ALARM WILL CLEAR AND THEN A FEW MILES LATER IT WILL GO ON AGAIN. WHEN CAR IS PARKED AND CAR ALARM IS ACTIVATED, THE CAR ALARM WILL START SOUNDING OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, WITH NOBODY NEAR THE VEHICLE. I HAVE READ THAT OTHER OWNERS HAVE HAD THESE TWO CONDITIONS ALSO, AND BELIEVE THESE TWO CONDITIONS ARE RELATED. IT IS AN ANNOYANCE TO MY NEIGHBORS AS WELL AS MYSELF, AND IF DRIVING ON THE ROAD THIS COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT IF PULLING OVER TO CHECK THE HOOD LATCH TO SILENCE ALARM AND WARNING LIGHT. THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES IN THE PAST TWO MONTHS.
CAR WAS PARK AND SHUT OFF AND A FEW MINUTES LATER THE CAR WAS SMOKING FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF VEHICLE AND CAUGHT FIRE.
THE EXCELERATOR PEDEL HAS A SLIGHT PLAY IN IT WHEN YOU FIRST STEP DOWN ON THE PEDEL.
2007 TOYOTA CAMRY OIL CONSUMPTION RECALL WAS NEVER FIXED PROPERLY TRIED TO TAKE IT TO DEALERSHIP SEVER TIMES BUT WAS TOLD THAT MY CAR SHOWED AS NOT HAVING THAT ISSUE POWER WINDOWS RECALL BUTTON GETS STUCK. OIL IS CONSTANTLY RUNNING LOW OR EMPTY AND SENSOR IS NOT COMING ON AS WELL AS NO OIL LEAKING OUT OF VEHICLE EVEN AFTER OIL CHANGE HAS TAKEN PLACE. HAVE TO MANUALLY CHECK AND ADD OIL TO VEHICLE WHICH IS DANGEROUS
I HAVE A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY THAT HAS INTERMITTENT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER PROBLEMS. ODOMETER DOES NOT INCREMENT MILES TRAVELED. THE SPEEDOMETER AND TACHOMETER WILL CEASE TO INDICATE PROPER READINGS AND DROP TO ZERO. THE TACHOMETER WILL THEN BOUNCE BETWEEN ZERO AND WHAT I CAN ONLY ASSUME IS A CLOSE APPROXIMATION OF THE ACTUAL ENGINE RPM. AT THE SAME TIME, THE ABS AND PARKING BRAKE WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATE AND STAY ON FOR THE DURATION OF THE "EPISODE".
BASICALLY THE ABS ACTUATOR IT'S FAILING LIKE IN THE HYBRID MODEL BUT ARE NOT COVERED BY THE TOYOTA EXTENDED WARRANTY WHICH IS COMPLETELY UNFAIR AS THE PART FAILING IT'S THE SAME BASIC ABS PART BUT ON DIFFERENT NON-ELECTRIC VARIANT
MY BRAKE AND ABS LIGHTS COME ON INTERMITTENT. WHEN THE TWO LIGHTS COME ON THE SPEEDOMETER STOPS WORKING AND IT'S DIFFICULT TO BRAKE. MY LOCAL TOYOTA DEALERSHIP STATED THAT MY ABS ACTUATOR/ABS MODULE IS GOING OUT. THIS IS THE SAME YEAR, MAKE, AND MODEL OF CARS THAT PEOPLE LOST THERE LIVES DUE TO BRAKE ISSUE. TOYOTA REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPAIR THIS ISSUE.
ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT INTERMITTENTLY ON. WHEN ON - THE SPEEDOMETER GOES TO ZERO WHILE CAR IS MOVING. RPM AND WATER TEMP GAUGE GO ALL OVER. WHILE BRAKE AND ABS LIGHTS ON THE A/C IS BLOWING HOT AIR WHILE ON MAX COLD. ALL OF THE ABOVE OCCURS WHILE MOVING OR IDLE.
ON HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH, SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE SUDDENLY DROPPED TO ZERO AT SAME TIME ABS AND BRAKE LIGHTS LIT UP ON DASH. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, ABS AND BRAKE DASH LIGHTS TURNED OFF AT THE SAME TIME SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE JUMPED BACK TO CURRENT SPEED INDICATION. NO LOSS OF POWER EITHER WAY, BUT HAS BEEN CYCLING BETWEEN FOR THE PAST WEEK. NOT LIMITED TO SPECIFIC SPEEDS OF AMOUNT OF TIME ENGINE HAS BEEN RUNNING, AS IT OCCURS AT VARIOUS SPEEDS AND VARIOUS TIMES.

MY CAR IS DYING WHEN IS RUNNING AND THE STEERING WHEEL GET LOCK AND DOESN'T MATTER WHAT SPEED I GO EVERYTHING TURNS OFF SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT IT COUD BE BECAUSE DOESN'T SHOW ANY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR ANYTHING PLEASE HELP
ON HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH, SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE SUDDENLY DROPPED TO ZERO AT SAME TIME ABS AND BRAKE LIGHTS LIT UP ON DASH. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, ABS AND BRAKE DASH LIGHTS TURNED OFF AT THE SAME TIME SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE JUMPED BACK TO CURRENT SPEED INDICATION. NO LOSS OF POWER EITHER WAY, BUT HAS BEEN CYCLING BETWEEN FOR THE PAST WEEK. NOT LIMITED TO SPECIFIC SPEEDS OF AMOUNT OF TIME ENGINE HAS BEEN RUNNING, AS IT OCCURS AT VARIOUS SPEEDS AND VARIOUS TIMES.
THE SHORT CIRCUITING OF THE ABS ACTUATOR HAS HIT ME TOO. THIS HAPPENED ON 03/22/2017 TO MY 2007 CAMRY LE. IT FIRST CAME UP WHEN I WAS WAITING AT A RED LIGHT. THE ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT CAME UP AND EVEN WHEN THE CAR STARTED MOVING, THE SPEEDOMETER WASN'T MOVING. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE SERVICE CENTER AND WAS TOLD THAT THE ABS ACTUATOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. IT IS GOING TO COST ME $2500. I DO NOT WANT TO SPEND ALMOST HALF OF THE CAR'S WORTH ON REPLACING THIS PART WHEN I WON'T BE SURPRISED IF ANOTHER PART BLOWS UP. LOOKS LIKE THIS IS A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH THE 2007 CAMRY MODEL. I AM SURPRISED THAT TOYOTA IS NOT EXTENDING THE WARRANTY OFFERED TO THE HYBRID MODEL TO THE NON HYBRID ONE. I WAS DRIVING INTO MY GARAGE AND HAD JUST BRAKE TO LET IT EASE IN. MY FOOT WAS STILL ON THE BRAKE, WHEN THE CAR SUDDENLY REVVED AND LUNGED FORWARD. THE BRAKE WOULD NOT WORK, AND IT WAS AS IF THE CAR HAD A MIND OF ITS OWN. IT HIT THE CRATE THAT WAS IN FRONT OF THE WALL, AND FORCED A BIKE RACK THROUGH THE WALL. THE FRONT BUMPER OF MY CAR WAS CRACKED IN PLACES. THE CAR THEN STOPPED. SO SCARY! I IMMEDIATELY CALLED MY DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THEY COULD NOT TALK TO ME. I NEEDED TO CALL THE CORPORATION, WHICH I DID. AFTER TWO MONTHS OF WAITING ON A DECISION, I WAS TOLD THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR, AND THAT'S THAT. I HAVE SINCE LEARNED THAT THERE HAVE BEEN OTHER INCIDENTS WITH TOYOTAS JUST LIKE MINE. I AM PETRIFIED TO DRIVE THE CAR, AND...

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ABS ACTUATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VIN AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE UNKNOWN.
CAR WAS RECENTLY SHIPPED FROM OVERSEAS. WHEN I GOT MY CAR, THE DASH LIGHTS WILL NOT GO OFF, THE ABS MOTOR WILL NOT SHUT OFF CAUSING MY BATTERY TO DRAIN CONSTANTLY, SPEEDOMETER WILL NOT WORK, GAS GAUGE MOVES SLOW, ENGINE SHAKES AND FEELS LIKE IT IS GOING TO CUT OFF. THE CAR WAS STATIONARY AND IN MOTION. CAR AIR CONDITION OCCASIONALLY BLOWS HOT AIR.
DEALERSHIP FOUND THE ABS ACTUATOR HAD FAILED. SYMPTOMS INCLUDED: ABS AND PARKING BREAK LIGHTS RANDOMLY TURN ON WHILE DRIVING. SPEEDOMETER WILL STOP WORKING AND TACHYMETER WILL START TO BOUNCE. A/C ALSO BLOWS WARM. THERE ARE SEVERAL CASES OF THIS FOUND ONLINE AND PER CONSUMER REPORTS THE 2007 CAMRY HYBRID EXPERIENCED PROBLEMS WITH THE ABS ACTUATOR AS WELL.
ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON AND THE ODOMETER AN TACHOMETER STOP WORKING OR GO UP AND DOWN WILDLY AT THE SAME TIME THE AIR CONDITIONER BLOWS HOT AIR. ALSO EXCESSIVELY BURNING OIL 1 TO 2 QUARTS PER 1000 MILES.
ABS, BREAK, RPM, AND DASHBOARD GOES CRAZY WHILE DRIVING. AC ALSO STOPS WORKING. THIS HAPPENS DAILY AND GOES ON AND OFF DURING MY COMMUTE. I HAVE ALREADY REPLACED ALTERNATOR, BATTER, AND ELECTRICAL WIRING AND IT'S STILL AN ISSUE.

THE BATTERY MOUNTS, BATTERY POSTS, AND METAL PLATE BURNED AND THE BATTERY CRADLE FRACTURED, WHICH EXPOSED THE BATTERY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR FURTHER INSPECTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,000.
ON AN INTERMITTENT BASIS, BRAKE AND ABS INDICATOR LIGHTS ILLUMINATE ON INSTRUMENT PANEL, TACHOMETER AND SPEEDOMETER ARE INOPERATIVE OR INDICATOR NEEDLES JUMPING, TEMPERATURE GAUGE INOPERATIVE, A/C NOT FUNCTIONING. OCCURS WHILE DRIVING AND WHEN STATIONARY. BASED ON INTERNET RESEARCH OTHER DRIVERS STATE PROBLEM IS WITH ABS ECU. DEALER INDICATES TOYOTA WILL NOT FUND REPAIR. BASED ON APPARENT FREQUENCY OF PROBLEM, TOYOTA SHOULD COVER COST OF REPAIR. PER DEALER, PART COSTS ABOUT $1700.
