2019 RAM 1500 Forward Collision Avoidance Warnings Problems

Unkown, but while driving, I got these alarms all of sudden at the same time.

[XXX] Known issue in 5th Gen Ram 1500s. Defective Mopar Connector Cam Buss. Causes the truck shifting problems and can cause going into park while driving. Issue below is on the forum causing a wreck. My 2019 Dodge Ram Limited started malfunctioning, causing me to wreck when the shifter unexpectedly went into park while I was driving. The brakes locked up, making the truck slide, and by the time it switched back, I was already sliding off the road. Parksense unavailable warning & service Shifter lights do come on. I called the Murfreesboro Ram dealer and they confirmed the issue that is was known to dealers. Majority of the dealers are sold out of the part due to this issue. When I attempted to suddenly brake once I saw the car in front of me braking, my brakes locked and the truck slid into the vehicle in front of me. The failure of the ESC system did not allow the expected intervention that is relied upon to avoid a vehicle crash without prior warning. I was in the deceleration phase of braking quickly, but the brakes did not respond in a timely manner. I was not made aware of the recall of the ABS control module software until after the accident took place. If I would have been made aware of such a defect I would have taken the precautions and action to repair or remedy the failed system to avoid unnecessary risk to both myself and others. service shifter, park sense unavailable, auto start stop unavailable warning lights came on ever time truck are in slow speed or stopped. sometimes cancel the cruise control and turn on the check engine light

Trucks guage cluster LCD display information center located behind the steering wheel, does not illuminate, and or work at all anymore. I cannot see warnings, issues with the truck, cautions, information, mileage, use the safety systems included with the truck, use automatic park assist, and know if the air bag system is functioning correctly. Anything that the screen is required for cannot be used, safety systems included. I cannot monitor vehicle temperatures, vehicle hours, or trip miles.. The analog guages work, but that is all. This is a huge safety issue and this should not be an issue. Current mileage is 57,589. The vehicle has been inspected by a certified ram dealer and they have told me I must replace the cluster since i am out of warrenty. Display in my gauge cluster on my 2019 ram 1500 is intermittent going in and out and lately is completely blank. Without the display I can not use the gauges, see if my tires are low, see how close I am to thing both forward and reverse with the park sense, low fuel light, cannot see the cruise control basically if there's a problem I can't see it because the display does not work I also cannot see current miles on the vehicle without the display.

My vehicle had issues in which all safety features have been turned off in the truck in June of 2022. Two dealerships have determined that it is a module but Ram has not been able to get the part now going on 5 months. Airbags, Lights, Safety features are all not working. I have tried to escalate but no response. I keep being told month after month that this will be corrected but still nothing. This is a major concern as this is a vehicle that has to be used and yet it is completely unsafe.

The instrument cluster often does not illuminate upon startup and as a result, the odometer, speed, parking sensors among other things do not alert me in the display. Some times upon starting the vehicle it starts up fine, other times it does not light up for a few minutes/miles than turns on, or does not turn on at all. There is currently a recall for this same issue "V83" for 2019 Ram 1500's, which is what I own, but I am told that my VIN was not listed in the recall. There is a lot of chatter online with others describing the same issue. I have not taken it to the dealer or had it inspected yet. This issue started a few months ago, is intermittent, but seems to now be happening every few startups.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE FORWARD COLLISION AUTOMATIC BRAKING ACTIVATED. THE CONTACT STATED THE ABS AND FORWARD COLLISION WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM OF WARWICK (185 NY-94, WARWICK, NY 10990 (845) 986-2021) HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF FAILURE AND A CASE WAS FILED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 6,000.
