2019 RAM 1500 Electrical System Instrument Clusterpanel Problems

The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument cluster failed to function as intended. The contact stated that the instrument cluster displayed a black screen. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with instrument cluster failure. The contact was informed that the instrument cluster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was advised not to drive the vehicle until the repair was completed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The contact was informed that the repair was not covered under recall. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 108,000.

The dash instrument cluster on my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie had issues intermittently working and not working. Now the display is completely blank. Important vehicle information is not available due to this issue. This issue seems far too common after reading complaints online. This is a safety issue and should be a recall for Ram trucks.

The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, the instrument cluster panel and the GPS were blinking on and off and then went dark. The contact drove to the destination and turned off the vehicle and on the instrument cluster and GPS functionality returned. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent but recurring. The contact had taken the vehicle to several local dealers to have the instrument cluster and GPS replaced. The contact stated that the vehicle was still under warranty. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 33,000.
