WE SLOWED TO A STOP AS WE STARTED UP A HILL, I PUT IT IN PARK AND WE ALL GOT OUT JUST IN TIME. A CERTIFIED CHRYSLER MECHANIC HAD JUST 2 DAYS EARLIER FINISHED INSTALLING A NEW ENGINE. BOTH THE DEALERSHIP & CHRYSLER HAVE DENIED ALL OWNERSHIP AND NO ROOT CAUSE EVALUATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED. I BELIEVE A FUEL LINE FAILED DUE TO FAULTY WORKMANSHIP, BUT WITHOUT A THIRD PARTY INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION I GUESS WE WILL NEVER KNOW AND SOME OTHER CUSTOMER MAY EXPERIENCE THE SAME THING.

ON MAY 24, 2017, WHILE DRIVE AT A SPEED OF 65 MPH WESTBOUND ON INTERSTATE 84 IN MIDDLEBURY, CT, OUR 2014 RAM 1500 COMPLETELY SHUTDOWN. NO WARNING LIGHTS FLASHED AND WE WERE LEFT WITH NO POWER. THE SECOND KEY TURNED THE TRUCK BACK ON AND WE PROCEEDED HOME. ONCE HOME WE TRIED THE FIRST KEY AND IT ALSO NOW WORKED. THIS PROBLEM CAN HAPPEN AT ANYTIME EVEN WHEN DRIVING ACCORDING TO OTHER REMARKS. I TOLD SERVICE TECH THAT A COUPLE TIMES A WEEK THE KEY WILL NOT ENGAGE ON FIRST TRY BUT THEN WILL START VEHICLE AND THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR MONTHS. HE SAID THAT IS AN INDICATION OF THE MODULE GOING BAD. I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOW AT 36,000 MILES OR LESS. I WILL SUBMIT REPAIR ORDERS TO DODGE TO BE REIMBURSED (LOL).
