The engine still make a sound and the body when is raining the water came inside
The dashboard has bubbles and is delaminating from the dash. This problem exists in many of the jeeps and a secret service bulletin was issue for only a 6 month period back in December 2019 to June of 2020. Jeep owners were not contacted about this and a recall should be declared for this defective part.
Passenger front carpet had present water. Anticipated heater core issue. Mechanic discovered a body seal leak, and drained 2 gallons of fluid. Windows fogged, and or froze from the inside of the vehicle.
Dash board leather cover bubbling de lamanting. Causing stange reflections in windshield while driving.
LEATHER DASHBOARD IS COMING LOOSE AND CURLING OFF DASH,IMPEDING DEFROSTER
WHILE PARKED THE REAR HATCH HAS RECENTLY STARTED TO GO UP ALMOST ALL THE WAY AND THEN COME BACK DOWN, SOMETIMES VERY FAST OTHER TIMES SLOWLY. IT HIT ME IN THE BACK THE FIRST TIME. I CALLED THE DEALER TO INQUIRE ABOUT RECALL R27 / NHTSA 15V-393, THEY SAID IT WAS NOT LISTED FOR MY VIN, THE VEHICLE WAS BUILT IN 3/14 AND DISPLAYS ALL OF THE ISSUES LISTED IN THAT RECALL.
ON 9/23/20 MY 2014 GRAND JEEP CHEROKEE ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN CAUSING ME TO CRASH INTO A FOUNTAIN WALL. I WAS PARKING AND ALMOST AT A COMPLETE STOP WHEN MY CAR WENT HAYWIRE. IT FELT AS IF I GOT HIT FROM BEHIND, MY DASH LIT UP, MY ENGINE REVVED REAL LOUD AND MY CAR LUNGED FORWARD. THERE WAS ENOUGH FORCE TO LIFT MY FRONT END AND PLACE IT ON THE 2ND TIER OF THE FOUNTAIN WALL. I WAS IN A TIGHT PARKING AREA AT THE HIALEAH GARDENS BUILDING DEPARTMENT. PLEASE GOOGLE EARTH THE PARKING LOT TO UNDERSTAND THE PARKING LOT AND HOW COMPACT IT IS. I HAD AN INVESTIGATION DONE ON MY CAR AND RECEIVED A VERY GENERIC RESPONSE VIA EMAIL REGARDING THE FINDINGS AND THAT CHRYSLER / JEEP WERE NOT LED TO BELIEVE THAT THE INCIDENT WAS DUE TO A MANUFACTURING RESPONSIBILITY. COWL PANEL TRIM IS CRUMBLING AND CAUSES A 'BEE HUMMING' NOISE WHEN VEHICLE REACHES 55 MPH OR MORE. VERY ANNOYING AND DROWNS OUT RADIO/MUSIC. WAS TOLD BY DEALER THAT THEY CAN TAPE IT DOWN BUT THE STRIP CRUMBLES WHEN YOU TOUCH IT. ATTEMPTED TO USE A BONDING SUBSTANCE RECOMMENDED BY PART STORE; STILL CRUMBLES WHEN TOUCHED.
PAINT BUBBLING ON THE EDGE OF THE HOOD
IN MY 30 YEARS OF OWNING MANY DIFFERENT VEHICLES, I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCE DOOR POPPING. ALL MY HINGES UPPER AND LOWER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED ON MY 2014 GRAND JEEP CHEROKEE LIMITED 4X4. FROM MY RESEARCH, THIS IS SOMETHING THAT MANY JEEP OWNERS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT AND ARE LEFT IN DISAPPOINTMENT AS I AM CURRENTLY. THERE IS NO RECALL OR TSB ON FILE WHICH IS MIND-BLOWING CONSIDERING THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. IF IT WAS ONE DOOR, I COULD SAY, OK UNDERSTANDABLE 'THINGS HAPPEN. BUT ALL 4 OF MY DOOR HINGES UPPER AND LOWER NEED TO BE REPLACED BE CAUSE ALL MY DOOR POP. JEEP MANUFACTURE HAS DECIDED TO STICK THEIR HEAD IN THE SAND AND IGNORE THE COMPLAINTS OF THIS SAFETY ISSUE

DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE THE SUNROOF EXPLODED.
THE TRANSMISSION WOULD DISENGAGE WHEN DRIVING IN THE MOUNTAINS CAUSING SEVER DECELERATION ALMOST KILLED ME IN TRAFFIC. THE SUSPENSIONS FRONT AND REAR ARE ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. SUSPENSIONS MAKES LOUD SCREECHING NOISES. REAR SUSPENSION IS ALMOST NON EXISTENT. REAR SUSPENSION BOUNCES SIDEWAYS OR ROLLS MORE SIDEWAYS WHILE DRIVING OVER BUMPS ON HIGHWAY. STEERING IS LOOSE. AND ELECTRION CONTROL ISSUES AS WELL

HI, THE LEATHER ON THE DASHBOARD IS EXTREMELY CRINKLED FROM NATURAL EXPOSURE TO SUNLIGHT. READING IN FORUMS, IT SEEMS THIS IS A MASSIVE ISSUE AND NO RECALL TO FIX THE LINING HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SCHLOSSMANN DODGE CITY CHRYSLER JEEP RAM FIAT (19100 W CAPITOL DR, BROOKFIELD, WI 53045, (262) 790-9000) WHO STATED THAT THEY DID NOT SEE A RECALL AND ADVISED HIM TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND RESTATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL FOR THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
THE CHROME TRIM AROUND THE CUP HOLDER ON THE CENTER CONSOLE IS DE-LAMINATING FROM THE PLASTIC AND HAS CREATED A SHARP AS A RAZOR EDGE ON THE CUP HOLDER WHEN YOU MUST INSERT YOUR FINGERS AND OR HAD TO GRAB YOUR BEVERAGE WHILE DRIVING. THE CUT THAT I GOT WAS QUITE PAINFUL, AND IF TRAFFIC WAS WORSE I COULD HAVE BEEN DISTRACTED ENOUGH BY THE PAIN TO GET INTO AN ACCIDENT. I CALLED JEEP CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY DID NOT CARE. 34K MILES ON A 50K VEHICLE AND IT IS FALLING APART.
SUNROOF HAS FAILED 6 TIMES AND IS NOW READY FOR IT'S 7TH REPAIR. THE SUNROOF'S AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONS STOP WORKING SO WHEN IT FAILS YOU HAVE TO PUSH THE CLOSE BUTTON REPEATEDLY WHILE THE SUNROOF MOVES MAYBE 1/4" ON EACH DEPRESSION OF THE BUTTON. THE DEALER REPLACED THE MOTOR ONCE AND FOR THE OTHER 4 TIMES I WAS TOLD IT NEEDED TO BE CALIBRATED. THE LAST SUNROOF FAILURE THEY WENT IN AND WENT THROUGH ALL OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS AND SAID THEY FOUND SOME ELECTRICAL WIRING PROBLEMS AND FIXED THEM. THE SUNROOF FAILED AGAIN 2 WEEKS LATER. THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT, DUE TO ANOTHER ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ISSUE. THE ELECTRONICS IN THE VEHICLE MALFUNCTIONS REGULARLY WHICH AFFECT THE RADIO CONTROLS, NAVIGATION, CENTRAL LOCKING, PHONE, AND I GET RANDOM ERRONEOUS ERRORS ON THE DASH DISPLAY. THE RADIO/NAVIGATION UNITS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. THE NAVIGATION SCREEN LOCKS UP BUT THE VOICE WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE...

I PUT THE CAR INTO PARK, AND AS I WAS EXITING THE CAR, AT A DEAD END ROAD IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD, I REALIZED THAT THE CAR WAS GOING IN REVERSE, AS I WAS HALF IN AND HALF OUT OF THE CAR. PULLED THE VEHICLE INTO PERSONAL GARAGE TO CHANGE OIL. PLACED VEHICLE IN PARK AND EXITED THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN PARK (ELECTRONIC SHIFTER) AND THE DOOR HIT THE DRIVER AND THEN CAUGHT THE CEMENT WALL OF THE GARAGE CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STOP. CAUSED $1200 WORTH OF BODY DAMAGE TO LOWER DRIVER SIDE DOOR.

DOUBLE PARKED MY VEHICLE IN A BUSY URBAN RETAIL COMMERCIAL AREA IN HOBOKEN, NJ AND LEFT IT RUNNING WHILE I WENT INTO A STORE TO PICK SOMETHING UP QUICKLY. WHEN I RETURNED THE CAR WAS GONE. THE ELECTRONIC SHIFTER IN THE JEEP SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN PARK BUT WAS ACTUALLY IN NEUTRAL. IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL WITH NO TACTILE FEEDBACK, ALL THE GEARS FEEL THE SAME TO THE TOUCH.
THIS MORNING, WHILE TRAVELING SOUTH BOUND ON US 931 IN KOKOMO, IN MY SUNROOF IN MY 2014 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE EXPLODED. THE GLASS SHATTERED AFTER MAKING WHAT SOUNDED LIKE A HAND GUN GOING OFF NEXT TO ME. DURING MY DRIVE, ALL WINDOWS WERE UP AND THE AC WAS ON. THERE WERE NO CRACKS IN THE GLASS BEFORE THE "EXPLOSION."
TAKATA, ON APRIL 15, 2016 I HAD A HEAD ON COLLISION WITH A 2004 FORD PICK UP TRUCK ON STATE HIGHWAY 28 IN SENECA SC THE JEEP WAS TOTALLY DESTROYED AND I SUFFERED MULTIPLE SERIOUS BODILY INJURIES. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. IF THE AIRBAGS HAD DEPLOYED IT WOULD NOT HAVE CONCLUDED IN BROKEN RIBS, BROKEN HAND, MULTIPLE CUTS AND BRUISES AND THE LOSS OF 90 % OF MY SITE. THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW HAS TWO STRESS CRACKS THAT JUST APPEARED. THERE IS NOT A IMPACT MARKS OR ANYTHING WHICH WOULD CAUSE THE GLASS TO CRACK. THEY ARE TWO STRESS CRACKS DUE TO CHEAP GLASS OR DESIGN PROBLEMS. LOCATED MANY OTHERS ONLINE WHICH HAVE THE SAME ISSUE AND JEEP WILL NOT WARRANTY IT.

NO DAMAGE TO THE OTHER VEHICLE AND ONLY SMALL SCRATCHES ON MY REAR BUMPER. THE 2ND TIME WAS 9/5/15, AFTER PARKING THE VEHICLE ON A SMALL INCLINE THE VEHICLE ROLLED 2' FORWARD INTO A GUARD RAIL POST CAUSING SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO MY FRONT BUMPER AND GRILL. I BROUGHT MY JEEP TO THE SMITH HAVEN CHRYSLER JEEP DEALER TODAY 9/23/15 TO HAVE THE VEHICLE INSPECTED AND THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME "THIS IS NORMAL ESPECIALLY ON AN INCLINE" AND "IT SHOULD NOT ROLL MORE THAN 3 FEET". I COULD NOT BELIEVE I WAS BEING TOLD THAT THIS IS A NORMAL...
I PULLED INTO A PARKING SPOT IN A PARKING GARAGE BUT WAS FAVORING THE RIGHT SIDE. I BACKED UP APPROX. 6-8 FEET TO STRAIGHTEN THE CAR OUT. AS SOON AS I PUT THE CAR IN DRIVE, IT LURCHED FORWARD AT FULL THROTTLE, WITH MY FOOT STILL ON THE BRAKE. I COULDN'T STOP IT. THE CAR ACCELERATED RAPIDLY AND SHOT FORWARD, OVER THE PARKING BARRIER AND RAMMED INTO THE CEMENT SUPPORT STRUCTURE OF THE DECK. THE IMPACT WAS JARRING AND THE CAR JERKED BACK UPON HITTING THE STRUCTURE. ALTHOUGH THE DISTANCE WAS ONLY ABOUT 6-8 FEET, THE IMPACT DID $3,300 DAMAGE TO THE CAR. I TOOK PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE ACCIDENT SITE AND THE DAMAGE TO MY CAR. THE PHOTOS SHOW THAT MY FRONT TIRES LAID DOWN SKID MARKS ON THE PAVEMENT AND UP AND OVER THE PARKING BARRIER AS I WAS TRYING TO STOP IT. A CLEAR INDICATION I WAS ON...

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 14V636000 (ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL) AND 15V461000 (EQUIPMENT); HOWEVER, THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE WITHIN A REASONABLE TIMEFRAME TO SCHEDULE THE RECALL REPAIR. THE DEALER DID NOT GIVE A SPECIFIC DATE FOR WHEN THE PART WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE AND INDICATED THAT IT MAY TAKE LONGER THAN SIX WEEKS. THE MANUFACTURER COULD NOT PROVIDE AN ESTIMATED DATE FOR WHEN THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE WOULD RECEIVE THE RECALL REPAIR. ADDITIONALLY, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 13,000.
JEEP ROLLAWAY COMPLAINT: MY BRAND NEW 2014 JEEP CHEROKEE ROLLED AWAY FROM ME WHEN I PUT IT INTO PARK. I GOT OUT OF THE CAR TO GET THE MAIL AND FEW SECONDS LATER, I HEAR A CRASH. THERE IS VERY LITTLE CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE TWO GEARS, NOTHING DEFINITIVE LIKE THERE IS ON A SLIDE TRACK IN MOST CARS WITH...
WHILE DRIVING AT 80 MPH, A VERY LARGE BUCK RAN IN FRONT OF THE CAR ON THE INTERSTATE. AFTER DRIVING BACK BY TO SEE THE DEER THE NEXT DAY IT WAS PROBABLY AROUND 300 LBS. THE ENTIRE FRONT PORTION OF MY VEHICLE WAS CAVED IN. NO AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WHATSOEVER. HITTING SOMETHING SO MASSIVE AT SUCH A HIGH RATE OF SPEED SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED SOME SORT OF SAFETY MECHANISM I.E (AIRBAGS!!!!!)
VEHICLE WAS IN A LEVEL PARKING LOT WITH A BOAT AND TRAILER ATTACHED. VEHICLE WAS IN PARK CONFIGURATION WITH ENGINE RUNNING. VEHICLE WAS LEFT UNATTENDED FOR ABOUT 1 MINUTE AND IT ROLLED ABOUT 100 FEET, THROUGH THE PARKING LOT AND ACROSS A ROAD AND DOWN A LEVEE WHERE IT HIT A TREE ON THE LEFT FRONT SIDE. THE DRIVER WAS NOT IN THE VEHICLE WHEN IT HIT THE TREE. THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL ARRIVED AT THE SCENE AND THERE WAS NO CITATION ISSUED. THERE WAS NO OTHER PROPERTY DAMAGE OTHER THAN TO THE VEHICLE AND THE BOAT TRAILER. THE INSURANCE COMPANY PAID FOR THE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE LESS THE DEDUCTIBLE.
OCTOBER 13, 2014 MY 2014 GR CHER HAS THE MOST DANGEROUS SHIFTER DESIGN I'VE EVER USED IN A MOTOR VEHICLE! THE IGNITION SWITCH DOES NOT KILL THE ENGINE IF THE VEHICLE IS IN GEAR EVEN IF THE VEHICLE IS STOPPED. THE SHIFTER DOES NOT ALWAYS ENTER PARK WHEN OPERATED WHICH CREATES THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE VEHICLE MAY DRIVE OFF WHEN THE DRIVER BELIEVES HE HAS STOPPED IT.. COMBINED WITH THE QUIETNESS OF THE MOTOR, AMBIENT NOISE MAY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW THAT THE VEHICLE IS IN GEAR WITH THE MOTOR RUNNING! I HAD A ROLL AWAY INCIDENT BACK AROUND JULY 25TH 2015 AFTER PLACING MY TRUCK (2014 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LIMITED) IN PARK IN FRONT OF A GAS STATION LOCATED ON RT 23 SOUTH IN RIVERDALE NJ WITH MY CHILD IN THE CAR. A TEEN DRIVER PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF MY WIFE AND SHE HIT HER GOING AROUND 20-25 MPH. THE WHOLE FRONT OF THE JEEP NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED TO THE TUNE OF ALMOST $6,000.00. HOWEVER, THE AIRBAGS NEVER DEPLOYED. MY WIFE DID GO TO THE HOSPITAL COMPLAINING OF LOWER BACK PAIN AND A FEW DAYS LATER HAD A SORE NECK AS WELL.
