Loss steering not able to drive.
June2 2023 my car the power steering quit no longer able to steer the car. No longer able to drive the car 2011 ford fusion. i noticed there were recalls on steering and electrical my is electrical power steering (no pump). i need to know if i qualify to have it fixed i have reported this to everyone in ford i know to ask. i need my car. my husband was driving when it happen he made it home safe thankful.

My airbags light came on out nowhere I had just got the recall fixing for my airbags now the orange light is on saying my airbags been deflated and I didn't have no kind of wrecks and I tried to reach out to hixson ford that is down in Alexandria la and thy woman told me they can't help me this is unsafe for me to be driving like this with my kids please help me

FORD has failed to remedy this safety recall for my vehicle in a timely manner. I have tried to schedule my FFH airbag recall repair for months. The dealership never answers their phone, nor do they respond to written inquiries. I also have called FORD and spent hours on the phone with no resolution. My mechanic can perform the recall repair. I need specific contact info for billing, so I can get my recall paid for (that my mechanic will perform). I am worried about the unrepaired recall, and the safety of those in my vehicle. This car has been recalled to replace the drivers side airbag. We have a 1 year old infant traveling in this car, and we do not feel safe driving it. We have reached out to the dealer for the recall fix of the defective airbag, but it is not available. It has been almost 6 months, we try to avoid using the car, but it is very difficult to avoid it. This is a very long time to fix a serious, life threatening issue. MY DAUGHTER, WITH A 9 MONTH OLD INFANT IS DRIVING THIS CAR AND IS NOW AFRAID TO DRIVE IT WITH THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG RECALL. THERE IS NO TIMELINE AND NOW SHE NO LONGER WILL DRIVE THIS CAR. WE WERE STATIONARY AT A RED LIGHT AT A 4-WAY INTERSECTION. A CAR FROM THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION (COMING TOWARDS US) RAN THE RED LIGHT AND HIT US HEAD-ON DOING APPROX. 50 MPH. THE PASSENGER AIRBAG IN OUR CAR DID NOT DEPLOY DURING THE HEAD-ON COLLISION. THE DRIVER'S AIRBAG DID DEPLOY. DEALER SAYS THAT PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO REPLACE THE AIRBAGS, I AM BEING PUT ON A WAITING LIST, AND WILL RECEIVE A CALL BACK. DEALER HAS NEVER CALLED BACK. TODAY RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES NOTIFYING ME THAT MY AIR BAGS NEED TO BE REPLACED AND THAT THERE IS NO RECORD OF MY HAVING ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT FORD MOTOR COMPANY. THIS IS NOT CORRECT.

IN ADDITION, THE DEALER WAS INFORMED THAT THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR FAILED TO UNLATCH FROM INSIDE THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE CAUSED THE DRIVER TO HAVE TO ELECTRONICALLY WIND DOWN THE WINDOW TO OPEN THE DOOR FROM OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE.
