Be reaching out and taking my car to Ford for recalls within the time limit told me they did not see no code I replace it it breaks down put me and my daughter at risk on the highway unsafe and now I spent all my money and can’t afford another car because of Ford not Doing their job with the policy and the warranties the recalls I’ve been going through so much trying to fix this car and now I have to take a complete loss because it’s finally broken down and no one wants to take the car
I’m pretty sure the tcm went out because the check engine light is on and it is shuddering and losing power randomly. Also will not go into reverse unless I shut car off.
Car stalls and have had three car accidents and ford refused to pay for gas tank isoes and car does not start after it is used for a few mins. There is a serious mileage fluctuations and ford dealership tefises to repair failed recall and claim ford Corp will not pay for repairs so that is nothing to be seen. Car has been seen 3 ties after failed repair and ford will nit take any responsibility for tevlls that didn't work.. Ford might offered some repair program but honoring it is another matter. Ford is aware of car accidents and claim they rather be sues then Repair car.
My car smells like it’s leaking gas and when I took a flash light n went under the car it shows the tank and the hose connected to the tank has signs of it being wet but when the car is running it smells a lot worse and constantly is shaking, shuddering and causing my transmission to malfunction and I’ve read online that there was a re call # 14S20 But i can’t find it on this website

I am filing a safety complaint regarding my 2014 Ford Focus due to recurring error codes P0456 (Very Small Leak Detected), P1450 (Unable to Bleed Up Fuel Tank Vacuum), and P2190 (System Too Rich at Idle). These issues relate to the Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP) and fuel tank system, which have caused symptoms such as intermittent Check Engine Light warnings, fuel odor, and difficulty refueling. These problems were confirmed by an independent service center during diagnostic testing, but the dealership refused to perform a goodwill fix, citing that my vehicle is not currently included in related recalls. -Canister Purge Valve malfunctioning. Vehicle is available for inspection upon request. -This is a potential safety risk, makes and models within the same year are showing recall. When checking the specific VIN, does not appear to be covered under current recall. -Failure Code P1450 -No -Check Engine Light
Previous owner & myself have continually experienced transmission/clutch shudder and hard shifting from a stop. Have had clutch and/or clutch assembly replaced twice since 2015. The dealer wants to replace the clutch AGAIN! This is not correcting the faulty DPS6 transmission which I believe is faulty. Now am afraid to drive car and have been told by dealer that Ford will not do anything unless shudder reaches certain limit. They have now informed me there is a problem with the Fuel EVAP system, according to the latest error code which had a recall back in 2019, so that is expired. And the clutch Customer Satisfaction Program 19N08 has also, expired, leaving me with a car unsafe to drive for both issues. I contacted Ford Motor Co today, and was told there is no Conflict Resolution Dpt., that they only deal directly with the dealer.
Purge value. Code p1450. It tries die on me. Everytime I get gas my car has hard time starting. While driving last few days car tries die or make a surge forward. I'm still having trouble with this transmission ever since I bought it. I been back 3 times for them to adjust something.it has died on me while driving.
The vehicle has all of the mentioned issues from the recall for the stuck CPV. Check engine light illuminated directly after refueling. Codes present at P1450 and P0420. Noticeable change in drivability. My specific VIN is not showing affected by this recall however it meets every requirement to be considered eligible. If my local dealership will not cover this I will have to file a consumer affairs report and take my case to small claims court as this should be something FORD has to remedy due to they’ve already admitted negligence in the manufacture of this vehicle.
My card was recalled several years ago for a Purge Valve Canister. It was repaired but would still cut out sometimes. It is doing it again now, as a matter of fact when you pull up to a light or sudden stop it will stall the engine. Also when you fill up with gas, it does not want to start. I know that when it was fixed, the problem was a band aid fix. There is something in the vehicle causing this Purge Valve canister to malfunction. I think it should be covered under the SAME RECALL and it should be paid for by FORD.
Gas tank was filled and experienced erratic fuel gauge indication during drive. Parked vehicle and next day there was gasoline coming out of the bottom of the car. Towed and mechanic said the gas tank shows deformation, issue where the tube into tank/assembly is defective.
I was driving my 2014 Ford Focus electric car sometime in 2023 and the system told me to immediately pull over for no reason. I was able to pull it over but it would not start again after turning it off. I let it sit and came back the next day since I needed to go somewhere and it started. The car then had issues starting and I tried to diagnose with the dealership and we ended up recharging the battery because it was low. I purchased a new 2014 Ford Focus Electric (FFE) in 2014. I have learned since then that every FFE develops a high voltage battery, the battery that powers the electric motor, coolant leak at no more than 80,000 miles, rendering the car inoperable. Ford will not repair the leak and will only sell a replacement battery. Ford has not issued a recall and is allowing the cooling system for a battery made from a highly combustible material to fail. The cooling system failure also requires the driver to get off the road immediately with the "Stop safely now" message and leaves the driver stranded with a useless car. Check engine light came on due to the code P0442. It was caused by a faulty purge valve, which my car was already recalled due to this. To my knowledge the valve was replaced. The check engine light is on again, same code. The purge valve was replaced again, but the engine light did not turn off. Upon further inspection, the fuel tank is deformed. The purge valve defect can cause the fuel tank to be vacuumed in on itself, and there happens to be another recall on this issue. My car is not part of this recall. Not only is the check engine light on for the deformed fuel tank, but my MPG number does not match up with the amount of mileage I actually have left. There needs to be another recall with the cars that were not in the original group recalled.

This car has had the clutch fork, clutch and tcm replaced since ive owned it and continues to still produce the same scary issue erratically. When it's not throwing codes it's sticking in gears, shifting hard, accelerating on its own (( almost went through a drive through window when it did this last)) this car is going to cause an issue/wreck. I Will be driving yhis car and the focus looses power, no steering, no acceleration available during the main issue im addressing today. It will flash the engine light and the cluster will continue to flash for about 30 seconds and you have no choice but to stop or pull over. My Ford Focus died on me at a stop sign, when trying to start it sounded it seemed like it ran out of gas, put gas in and it leaked out onto the ground. I had it towed to the Sewell Ford in Fayetteville AR 72703. They replaced the R Tube Asv-Fuel Vapour Separa, Fuel Cannister-fuel vapour store, E Tank Esy-Fuel, Ax Sender and Pump Asy and AA Gasket. They said this happened because of pressure in the gas tank. They looked up the recall, that this is associated with and a Ford location in Frisco said it didn't need to be fixed. Obviously it did. I paid 3,173.88 for the repair work. I called Ford Corp number and they stated same as the other Ford location is we closed out without being repaired. Is there anything i can do?

Previously we had our vehicle repaired due to a safety recall regarding the fuel tank canister purge valve. This component is malfunctioning again. I called Ford and was told this recall was no longer active. The vehicle and component are available for inspection as needed. Due to the vehicle stalling at any time this can cause a dangerous situation, especially at highway speeds. Additionally, the vehicle resists starting which could potentially leave us stranded. The check engine light is activated due to this problem which was diagnosed via On-board diagnostics device.
The canister purge valve is stuck open causing a vacuum inside the fuel tank. Fuel tank is currently deformed because of the vacuum. This issue has lead to a recall in other year models of the Ford Focus (2012 & 2017) but not the 2014 Ford Focus.
One day when I went to go fill my 2014 Ford Focus up, my car started and stalled randomly. I could not get my car to turn back on. After a few tries, it finally came on. This issue would go on for two weeks every time I filled up my car. If my car only gets $10 in it, its fine though. only happens when I fill it up. 01/08/2019- Vehicle was checked for fuel tank deformation (18S32) Vehicle Mileage 65,162 the technician comments read as follows (check dtcs, check for available PCM software update, no available software update, no parts replaced) 07/26/2022- Vehicle was brought to Billy Howell Ford Lincoln Dealership for a permanant emmissions code PO442. Ford Corporate arranged the Diagnostic appointment. The technician comments read as follows (checked dtc's. found multiple DTC's set in various modules. PO442 is only fault set in PCM. checked OASIS, no relevant information found. performed EVAP system test, passed. performed EVAP purge and seal test, passed. connected smoke machine to test for leaks. I took car the get it service at Ford dealer In Nov 15 2021 after many months and many car dealers refusing or not having time to look at car and a few stalls. This being the second Ford focus same year and same problems that left us with bills that ford Corp refused to honor. Have names off peole but will leave it out. The advisor whom I was given and appt was made for transmission testing Ford said that iif I had it tested they would cover cost due to no parts to fix it due to shortages and backorders. On January 14, 2022, at approximately 5:20 P.M. my wife was traveling southbound on Pleasant Hill Road in Lafayette, California towards the freeway entrance when the Ford Focus Electric she was driving displayed a Stop Safely Now message and almost immediately thereafter lost motive power at the busiest intersection in the City of Lafayette. She was able to steer the car to the shoulder since she was in the right hand lane. The vehicle would not move and the steering wheel locked up. She called for assistance and I drove down and exchanged cars with her within approximately 15 minutes. After approximately 10 minutes of trying, I was able to get the vehicle to turn off and to turn on again without the Stop Safely Now warning and was able to return the approximately 1.5 miles to our residence. This vehicle is experiencing a relapse of the same issues that led to a previous recall. It is experiencing fuel tank issues where the fuel gauge is unreliable and acts as though it is out of fuel despite reporting 1/4 tank. This has put the safety of occupants at risk as we were barely able to get off the highway in time before the vehicle came to a sudden and complete stop. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer as to do so will result in exorbitant out of pocket expense since Ford claims to have fixed the recall issue. my 2014 Ford Focus had a check engine light sensor alert on October 4th 2021. I scheduled for an appointment to have the vehicle serviced on October 18th 2021(closest time available). During the two week period I had noticed when I pumped gas that the engine seemed to have stalled when I tried to turn on the ignition. The second time the vehicle finally turned on but there was a low rumble noise. I gassed up a second time and I just heard a low rumble from the vehicle when I started the ignition. on 10/16/2021, I was low on gas but my low tank sensor did not go off so I figured I was okay to drive until I came to a gas station. The last 5 or 6 times when filling the gas tank , the gas pump shuts off as if the tank is full, it is not. This has happened at multiple gas stations in Monmouth County , NJ.
I know exactly what's wrong because it's a recall that's on certain Ford focuses of this year but apparently not mine for some reason even though I have the problem but it's the emissions control valve that's stuck open my car stalls out after I fuel. I'm having an extreme loss of power sometimes just being me having to push the pedal more down to losing all acceleration all together to where it shuts down the cruise control when I'm on the highway. Jan.26th 2018 I purchased a 2014 Ford Focus SE from Pacifico Ford. I was told by salesman No Recalls and No safety Issues. The car was on the lot with new inspection stickers. I was given a clean car fax. I was deceived. The car was returned the next day for driving improperly. It gave too much gas or not enough, was shuddering and sticking, steering issues, drifted to the right, and steering wheel had to be crooked to park to adjust the wheels, and car had a burn smell. Ford found transmission problem, engine leaking oil, clutch problem, cpu issues, failed road test and leaky seals. A week later, I was told all was fixed as new. MY VEHICLE WILL NOT START AFTER REFUELING AND STALLED WHILE DRIVING.
I HAVE HAD SO MUCH TROUBLE WITH THIS CAR I AM UPSIDE DOWN ON IT. NOW ALL THE ELECTRICAL STUFF SEEMS TO BE SHORTING. I WAS DRIVING AND MY FUEL GAUGE KEPT GOING TO ZERO THEN BACK UP TO HALF A TANK. 1. CLUTCH SLIPS IN TRANSMISSION CAUSING VEHICLE TO STALL OR REACH DANGEROUS RPM'S BEFORE SWITCHING INTO ANOTHER GEAR. 2. REPAIR WAS DENIED BY FORD STATING THAT IT WASN'T RELATED TO THE CURRENT RECALL BUT WAS THE CLUTCHES THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. CLUTCHES ARE GOING OUT DUE TO THE TCM THAT WAS RECALLED ON THE VEHICLE. 3. HORN HAS DECIDED TO STOP WORKING ALONG WITH CONTROLS ON THE STEERING WHEEL DUE TO A WIRING ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE. FUSES HAVE BEEN CHANGED ENSURING THAT IT IS A WIRING ISSUE. 4. HAZARD LIGHTS AS WELL AS HALF THE BUTTONS ON THE DASH INCLUDING RADIO, ETC. MY CAR HESITATE AND JERKS WHEN ADVANCING FROM A STOP. THIS IS VERY SCARY WHEN I'M ON THE HIGHWAY. MY CAR AT TIMES DOESN'T PICK UP SPEED I HAVE TO PRESS DOWN MORE THAN USUAL TO GET UP TO SPEED.I HAD MY FUEL PUMP REPLACE BECAUSE THE INDICATOR DETECTED AN ISSUE, WASN'T AWARE THAT THIS WAS A RECALL.
ONGOING ELECTRICAL ISSUES THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE RELATED. VEHICLE WILL "STALL" WHILE IN MOTION OR WHILE POWERED ON BUT STOPPED AT A LIGHT FOR EXAMPLE. IT'S AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE SO THE CAUSE OF THE STALL IS UNCLEAR. VEHICLE WILL BE INOPERABLE FOR 1-10 MINUTES, INCLUDING POWER STEERING WHILE THE SYSTEM RESETS. THIS HAPPENS USUALLY AT SLOW SPEEDS OR WHILE STOPPED - IN REVERSE, CLIMBING HILLS, STOPPED AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS. THE PROBLEM WAS "FIXED" IN OCTOBER 2019 AND WE WERE TOLD THAT SOMETHING DOING WHILE ADDRESSING ONE OF THE ELECTRICAL RECALLS HAD CAUSED THE PROBLEM. NOW IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN AND FORD CAN'T TELL US WHY. WE'VE BEEN STRANDED PULLING OUT OF OUR DRIVEWAY IN THE PATH OF ON COMING TRAFFIC, BLOCKING ONE LANE ROADS IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND AT INTERSECTIONS.

FOR SOME TIME NOW I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET 2 RECALLS FIXED ON MY VEHICLE : 18V735 AND 16V643. WHEN I PREVIOUSLY CALLED THE DEALERSHIP THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS YET FOR THE RECALLS. JUST YESTERDAY WHILE DRIVING WITH A PASSENGER IN THE REAR SEAT OF THE CAR THE REAR DOOR CAME OPEN BY ITSELF AND NOW WILL NOT CLOSE. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP (LOGANVILLE FORD IN MONROE GEORGIA) WHO TOLD ME 1. THAT THEY COULD NOT GET ME IN FOR THE REPAIR UNTIL NEXT WEDNESDAY (9/9) AND 2. THEY WOULD NOT PROVIDE A LOANER VEHICLE. I WAS DRIVING HOME WHEN OUT OF NOWHERE, MY VEHICLE IS STARTING TO STALL AND I KEPT PUNCHING THE GAS AND IT WAS LIKE THE KEY WAS OFF. LUCKILY, EVEN THO I WAS IN TRAFFIC, I WAS IN THE RIGHT HAND LANE AND THERE WAS A SHOULDER I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER ON. YOU CAN TURN IT OVER AND IT QUICKLY STALLS. WHEN I GOT MY VEHICLE TO BE CODE READ, IT SAID ,'NO FUEL DELIVERED TO THE FUEL RAIL.' I COULD HAVE CAUSED OR BEEN IN A HORRIBLE WRECK IF LUCK HAD NOT BEEN THAT I WAS CLOSE TO A SHOULDER TO PULL OVER AT. I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY DRIVING IN MULTIPLE LANES THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE
I WANT TO FINE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE FORD DEALER. I HAVE APPROXIMATELY 3 MONTHS WITH PROBLEM. IT'S BECAUSE OF GAS EVAPORATIONS. I HAD WITH ME A LATTER THAT FORD SEND ME TO ME FOR RECALL WHICH I HAD TO HAVE IT REPAIRED AND THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR IT. SUPPOSEDLY THEY REPAIRED THAT, WHEN THEY NEVER DID AND PROOF OF THIS IS THAT THERE IS THE PROBLEM AS WELL AS THE TRANSMISSION THEY JUST MARKED DONE AND THEY NEVER DID I, BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THE PROBLEM BEFORE AND NOW I HAVE IT. THEY DON'T WANT TO REPAIRED THOSE 2 FACTORY FAILURES. I WANT TO SEE WHAT CAN I DO TO THEY FIX IT AT NOT COST SINCE. IT'S A FACTORY FAILURE AND I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THAT PROBLEM.
