CAR WON'T START AND THE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. I CAN'T SWITCH GEARS.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE STREET, THE CAR STALLED. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES WITHIN THE LAST 5 DAYS. IT IS UNKNOWN AS TO WHY THIS IS HAPPENING, BUT THE CAR STALLING WHILE DRIVING IN THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC, IS A SAFETY RISK. DURING THIS TIME, THE CAR WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL, AND AFTER PRESSING THE START BUTTON AGAIN, THE CAR STARTER WAS CONTINUALLY TRYING TO TURN OVER AND START, BUT DIDN'T. AFTER GETTING ASSISTANCE, THE CAR WAS FINALLY PUSHED OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET FROM IT'S STALLED POSITION. AFTER GETTING PUSHED TO A PARKED POSITION, IT FINALLY STARTED, BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE THE CHANCE OF IT STALLING AGAIN, SINCE THIS HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES NOW.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, USING CODE P03 MISFIRE ON CYLINDER ONE; REPLACED CYLINDER ONE AND SPARK PLUG STILL COMING ON AND BATTERY FLUNCTUATING. SHOP STAYED IT'S AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE NOT THE CYLINDER ITSELF . BATTERY JUMPS UP AND DOWN WHEN IN IDLE AND HESITATES TO START. DO NOT FEEL SAFE TAKING IT ANYWHEREB
SINCE DEC 16, 2016 MY CAR HAS STALLED MULTIPLE TIMES , I HAVE FILED MULTIPLE BBB COMPLAINTS AS WELL AS HAVING IT INSPECTED , TOWED , NEW KEY FOBS PURCHASED AND MY CAR LITERALLY WILL STOP ON THE INTERSTATE PUTTING ME AND MY FAMILY IN DANGER. IT, HAS BROKEN DOWN 15 TIMES SINCE I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE AND I'M SICK AND TIRED OF THIS. I WANT THIS SETTLED
TAKATA RECALL: MY VEHICLE, CHRYSLER 2015 200 CONSISTENTLY STALLS OUT WHEN OIL GETS TOO LOW. OIL GOES LOW UNEXPECTEDLY AND FAR BEFORE ANY SCHEDULED OIL MAINTENANCE. ENGINE IS BURNING OIL MUCH TOO QUICKLY. VEHICLE WILL STALL WITH NO WARNING IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC.

ALSO, A WARNING MESSAGE APPEARED INDICATING TO PARK THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY SHUT OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE CRANK SENSOR WAS FAULTY. THE CRANK SENSOR WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.
IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN MORE IN THE MORNING WHEN MY CAR HAS BEEN IDLE FOR A FEW HOUR. ON SHARP TURNS OR ABRUPT BRAKING IN THE CITY MY CHRYSLER 200 2015 WILL STALL. FIRST, THE ELECTRICAL WARNING LIGHT WILL GO OFF ALONG WITH A BELL WARNING SOUND AND THEN THE CAR WILL STALL. I WILL THEN HAVE TO COAST TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD (WITH NO POWER), STOP THE CAR, ENGAGE THE DIAL TO PARK AND PRESS THE IGNITION BUTTON WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL DOWN AGAIN. WHEN I DO THIS, THE STARTER WILL STRUGGLE TO START, BUT AFTER 8 SECOND THE ENGINE WILL TURNOVER. THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE OCCURRING MORE NOW. THE PROBLEM STARTED HAPPENING AT 58,000 MILES AND NOW I AM AT 70,000 MILES.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 63,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE 2015 CHRYSLER 200C HAVE SEVERAL STALLING ISSUES WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE LAST WEEK AND NO FAULT WAS FOUND. THE PROBLEM IS ONGOING AND I WOULD LIKE FOR THE NHTSA TO CONDUCT A FULL INVESTIGATION.
ON THE NIGHT OF 5/11 I CAME HOME FROM A BUSINESS TRIP IN A RENTAL VEHICLE AND PULLED MY PERSONAL VEHICULAR OUT OF MY UNDERGROUND SECURED GARAGE TO TAKE TO A STORE APPROXIMATELY 1 MILE AWAY. AFTER RETURNING TO MY APARTMENT I PARKED THE VEHICLE IN THE OUTSIDE PARKING LOT JUST FOR THAT NIGHT AS I PARKED THE RENTAL UNDERGROUND. ABOUT 15 MINUTES AFTER PARKING MY VEHICLE I HEARD 2 LOUD BOOMING SOUNDS I COULD HEAR FROM MY APARTMENT. ABOUT 20 MINUTES AFTER THE BOOMING SOUNDS THREE POLICE OFFICERS CAME TO MY APARTMENT DOOR AND TOLD ME MY VEHICLE WAS ON FIRE. THEY TOOK ME DOWN TO THE PARKING LOT AND TOLD ME THERE WAS AN EXPLOSION THAT LED TO THE FIRE. THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS A WITNESS WHO SAW SPARKS FLYING WHICH LED THE POLICE DETECTIVE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT TO THINK IT WAS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE THAT LED...
WHILE DRIVING, THE ENGINE WILL STALL AND SHUT OFF WITH NO WARNING. I HAVE TO COAST TO A SAFE PLACE TO PULL OVER AND WHEN I TRY TO RESTART THE ENGINE. THE ENGINE MAKES A LOUD NOISE AND THEN STARTS TO CRANK SLOWLY AND THEN STARTS BACK UP. THIS HAS HAPPENED 4 TIMES OVER THE LAST 5 DAYS.

AS I WAS DRIVING HOME ON THE HIGHWAY THE CHECK TRANSMISSION LIGHT CAME ON, I TURNED INTO A GAS STATION AND ATTEMPTED TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND WAS UNABLE TOO. A NOTIFICATION POPPED UP STATING THE CAR WAS NOT IN PARK AND TO APPLY PARKING BRAKE TO PREVENT CAR FROM ROLLING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED DUE TO THE REPAIR FEES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.

I HAVE BEGGED FOR TOW INS, RENTALS AND WARRANTY DIAGNOSES. I HAVE BEGGED FOR CHRYSLER TO SEND A TRAINED REP FROM OUT OF TOWN TO INVESTIGATE. THIS HAS GONE ON FOR YEARS, NOW THE BELOW DEALERSHIPS OWNS BOTH THE DEALERS IN MY REGION AND REFUSE TO DO WORK TO DIAGNOE PER WARRANTY AT EITHER. I HAD A FREE OIL CHANGE PACKAGE FROM CHRYSLER FROM A PREVIOUS SERVICE RELATED COMPLAINT. THE DEALER SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT, I GAVE THEM ALL MY INFO. I ALSO ORDERED AN EXPENSIVE PART TO HAVE INSTALLED, WHICH IS NONRETURNABLE. I PAID FOR AND PICKED UP PART. CHECKED MY CAR IN. THERE WAS A COOLANT LEAKING AND EVERY TIME THEY CHANGE THE OIL IT WAS JUST REFILLED EVEN AFTER I BROUGHT IT TO THERE ATTENTION.THERE WAS A OIL LEAKING AROUND THE OIL HOUSING AND LEAKING TO AND OVER THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION. THE U CONNECT SCREEN FEATURES DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY AND CAN NOT UPDATE THE RADIO
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTING FLICKERED AND THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED AFTER FIFTEEN MINUTES. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

WEVE TAKEN IT INTO THE SHOP MULTIPLE TIMES WITH NO RESOLUTION. CONCERNED ABOUT DIVERS SAFETY! WE BOUGHT THIS CAR USED LAST YEAR (2018) AND HAVE STARTED HAVING TROUBLE ABOUT 2 WEEKS LATER. PRETTY SURE THE PREVIOUS OWNERS TRADED IT IN FOR THIS REASON.
ON SATURDAY 29/9/2019 I WAS GETTING READY TO GO TO WORK FROM FREMONT, CA TO SAN JOSE, CA AND MY CAR WOULDN'T START. I HAD TO PRESS THE PUSH START SEVERAL TIMES TO GET IT TO START,. ONCE IT DID START WHEN I TURNED ON THE DEFROSTER IT STARTED SHAKING AND TURNED OFF. I HAD TO LET IT IDLE MORE THAN 15 MINUTES BEFORE IT WARMED UP. I MADE IT AROUND THE BLOCK ABOUT A QUARTER MILE BEFORE I CAME TO A STOP SIGN AND THE CAR SHUT OFF. I MANAGED TO TURN IT BACK ON AND PULL OVER. IT CONTINUED TO STALL UNTIL I GOT BACK HOME. SINCE THEN IT'S BEEN SHAKING WHEN ON IDLE AND IT JERKS BETWEEN GEARS. WHILE ON THE 880 FREEWAY THE CAR WILL DECELERATE DURING PEAK TRAFFIC HOURS CAUSING ME TO HAVE TO PULL OVER TO THE SLOW LANES TO AVOID GETTING REAR ENDED....
CAR STALLS INTO NEUTRAL OR JUST DIES WHEN IN MOTION, THE AIRBAGS DO NOT WORK, THE MIDDLE CONSOLE WENT OUT IN 2016, THE CAR TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR STOPPED WORKING IN 2016, THE CAR RANDOMLY REVS INTO A HIGHER GEAR
THE CAR STALLS ON MY WIFE EVERY DAY. SHE SITTING AT LIGHT OR SITTING IN TRAFFIC. YOU CAN BE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AND WITHOUT WARNING IT CUTS OFF. I AM NOW THE ONLY CHRYSLER OWNER THAT IS HAVING THIS ISSUE. THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE A REALLY BAD ACCIDENT, OR MAYBE SOMEONE DIEING DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE. I HAVE BEEN CALLING SO SEE IF THERE IS A RECALL. I SAW SOMETHING ON GOOGLE AND SAID THERE IS A RECALL BUT WHEN I CALL THE DEALER SHIP THEY SAY THERE IS NO RECALL. WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE FOR US TO GET A RECALL ON THE 2015 CHRYSLER 200'S ENGINE STALLING PROBLEM. THIS STARTED HAPPEN BACK IN OCTOBER 2016.
THE CAR HAS SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING. I BOUGHT THE CAR USED LAST YEAR IN MARCH 2018. IT HAD ISSUES W/JERKING BETWEEN GEARS AND "HOPPING", BUT SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, JUST SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING 75 MPH ON A HIGHWAY (TWICE IN 15 MINS). DEALERSHIP ATTEMPTED TO FIX. BUT, ITS BACK TO SAME PROBLEM. IT SHUT OFF TUESDAY WHILE OUT OF TOWN AT A HOTEL WHILE PULLING OUT ONTO A 5 LANE ROAD. SUPPOSEDLY FIXED, AND THEN SHUT OFF ON INTERSTATE 695 AROUND BALTIMORE LAST NIGHT WHILE TWO LANES OF TRAFFIC OVER. SHUTTING OFF WITH -0- WARNING WHILE TRAVELING ON BUSY INTERSTATES IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND POSSIBLE LIFE THREATENING. PER RESEARCH, THIS SEEMS TO BE A MAJOR ISSUE FOR THIS CAR, NOT SURE WHY NHTSA HAS NOT RECALLED IT YET.
THE CAR DIES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING. THE ENGINE STOPS, ALL THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH GO OUT AND THERE IS NO POWER STEERING OR BRAKES. AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES THE CAR WAS ABLE TO START AGAIN.
VEHICLE SHUT DOWN AT RANDOM AFTER 1 MONTH OF DRIVING WHEN PURCHASED APRIL 2017 AND HAS BEEN STALLING AND RANDOMLY SHUTTING DOWN SINCE. THERE HAS BEEN TWO TO THREE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AT TWO AUTO SERVICES INCLUDING CHYSLER. THIS PROBLEM HAS NOT BEN FIXED. I WAS DEIVING EVERYTIME IT SHUTDOWN AND THE VEHICLE STALLS WHILE DRIVING AND SOMETIMES WHEN STATIONARY.
I HAVE HAD MY THE CAR COMPLETELY CUT OF SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT WARNING. RECENTLY AS I WAS BACKING OUT OF THE DRIVE WAY THE CAR TURNED OFF WHILE IN MOTION AND ALL LIGHTS WENT OUT. THAT WAS ON MONDAY 1/28/2019. TODAY AS APPROACHING A STOP SIGN THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. WITHOUT WARNING AND NO LIGHTS ON THE DASH BOARD. I HAVE NOTICED THAT OTHER CARS WITHIN THE SAME YEAR HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR SIMILAR ISSUES BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY NOTIFICATION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 57915072. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
TAKATA RECALL.. I WENT TO GALENA TWICE FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. EACH TIME THEY'VE TOLD ME THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. MY SERVICE PARK BRAKE COMES ON AND SO DOES THE SERVICE TRANSMISSION, IT COMES ON WHEN I START THE CAR AND DOESN'T ALLOW ME TO SHIFT GEARS. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I'VE HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS PROBLEM. ON DECEMBER 8TH, THE VEHICLE HAD TURNED OFF ON ME WHILE IN MOTION. IT GAVE ME A SLIGHT CHANCE TO PULL OVER. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES SINCE DECEMBER 8TH. 2 MORE TIMES BEFORE THAT DATE IN 2017 (THE SAME YEAR I GOT THIS CAR) TURNS OUT THERE WAS NO OIL LEFT IN MY CAR, EVEN THOSE MY DASH BOARD SAID THERE WAS 34% OF OIL LEFT. I TOOK THE CAR TO MY MECHANIC TO FIGURE OUT WHY THE OIL WAS RUNNING OUT SO FAST. WHETHER THERE WAS A LEAK OR SOMETHING. TURNS OUT THE PISTON RINGS IN THE CAR ARE BAD, TO FIX THIS HE SAID THE ENGINE WOULD HAVE TO BE TAKEN PART FULLY AND FIXED WHICH COULD ALSO SHOW MORE UNDERLYING ISSUES. (IF ANY)

LEAVING FOR WORK THIS MORNING AND VEHICLE CHUTE OFF AS MAKING A RIGHT TURN. UPON ARRIVING TO WORK THE ENGINE SHUT IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION. SOUNDED LIKE A WEAK TURN OVER BUT BATTERY IS FINE AND ALTERNATOR IS OK AS WELL AND THIS POSES A SAFETY ISSUE THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE.
WHILE IN MOTION THE VEHICLE WILL SHUT DOWN - STEERING WHEEL LOCKS, BRAKES DONT BRAKE, NO SENSOR LIGHTS. VEHICLE STARTS AFTER 30+ MINS BUT NO MECHANIC CAN LOCATE THE PROBLEM DUE TO NO SENSOR LIGHTS. THIS IS A MAJOR HEALTH ISSUE WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLS IN HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS AND CAN'T BE MOVED. AT THIS TIME, IT HAS HAPPENED ON 3 OCCASSIONS WITHIN A TWO WEEK SPAN.

HAD A CONSTANT LEAK OF OIL. TOOK IT IN TO THE DEALER AND IT WAS THE OIL COOLER GASKET HOUSING THAT HAD A LEAK DUE TO A CRACK OR DEFECTIVE GASKET HOUSING. THE OIL COOLER HAD TO BE REPLACE. I HAVE HEARD THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE YEAR AND ENGINE MODEL BY OTHER MECHANICS. HAD TO REPLACE THE OIL COOLER.
