WHILE TURNING, THE CAR JUST TURNED OFF. WHEN I RESTARTED IT STRUGGLED TO TURN ON. ALSO WHEN IM DRIVING IT FEEL LIKE TURNING BACK OFF..
WHEN HITTING THE BREAKS SOMETIMES THE VEHICLE STALLS OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC HAVING TO PUT IN PARK POSITION AND TRY TO RESTART THE CAR. SOMETIMES TAKE A MINUTE TO EVEN RESTART AND IT DOESN'T ALWAYS LET ME SHIFT IT INTO DRIVE RIGHT AWAY. THIS IN RESULT COULD CAUSE SOMEONE TO REAR END ME. I AM NOTICING THERE IS A RECALL CALLED R24 WHICH SEAMS TO BE WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY VEHICLE.
WHILE DRIVING OR ACCELERATING FROM A STOP MY VEHICLE WILL LOSE ALL POWER AND WILL DISPLAY A MESSAGE SAYING SHIFT TO PARK. THE GEAR KNOB WILL FLASH AND LOCK, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND OTHER MESSAGES WILL POP UP SAYING TO SERVICE TRANSMISSION. ALSO WHILE ACCELERATING MY VEHICLE JUMPS. THERE WAS ONE TIME THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY STALLED WHILE TURNING. ALL OF MY DRIVING IS ON CITY STREETS AND VERY RARELY DO I DRIVE ON A HIGHWAY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND LOST POWER. THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL FOR THE VEHICLE TO POWER BACK ON AND ACCELERATE FORWARD. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO DON FRANKLIN CAMPBELLSVILLE (LOCATED AT 200 N BYPASS RD, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY, 42718, 877-702-2230) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BATTERY VOLTAGE CIRCUIT, CONTROL MODULE, AND FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE SPEED SENSOR FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO EXHIBIT THE SAME FAILURE. THE CONTACT HAD TO JUMPSTART THE VEHICLE IN ORDER TO DRIVE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT DIAGNOSTIC CODE: (TIPM MODULE U0001) APPEARED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
AS I AM DRIVING THIS CAR WAS SHUT OFF AND THEN I WILL HAVE TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK RESTART THE CAR SOMETIMES IT WILL STALL BEFORE WE STARTING BUT OTHER TIMES IT WILL RESTART AND THEN I CONTINUE ON AND THIS MAY HAPPEN THREE TO FOUR TIMES ESPECIALLY IN THE MORNING THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS FOR THE CAR TO STOP WHILE I'M DRIVING WITHOUT WARNING IT'S A HAZARD AND CAN LEAD TO A BAD ACCIDENT.
I'VE HAD MULTIPLE ISSUES. FIRST, MY CAR STALLED AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN MAIN STREETS, THE FIRST TIME I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM WITH IT. SECOND DEALERSHIP I TOOK IT TO SAID IT WAS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE MY CAR WAS HAVING, KEPT IT FOR A WEEK, REPAIRED THE ISSUE.SECOND TIME I TOOK IT IN WAS BECAUSE MY AIRBAG ALERT ILLUMINATED ON THE DASH, AGAIN, THEY SAID IT WAS A WIRING ISSUE, SOMEONE HAD KICKED THE WIRING LOOSE UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT.THEN I HAD IT TOWED IN BECAUSE IT COMPLETELY STOPPED ON ME WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT .NOW IT'S IN THE SHOP BECAUSE THE MALFUNCTION CAME ON, I STILL ATTEMPTED TO DRIVE IT TO WORK,BUT WHEN I WENT BACK OUT FOR LUNCH, IT WOULDN'T START. ROADSIDE JUMPSTARTED IT, AND IT STARTED. WENT BACK OUT WHEN I GOT OFF WORK AND IT WOULDN'T...
MY CAR STALLS AND DIES WHEN SLOWING FOR STOPLIGHTS OR SLOWING TRAFFIC. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS IT DOES EVENTUALLY RESTART. TERRIBLY SCARY WHEN I HAVE MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR. NO ONE CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT IS WRONG AS IT DOWNS THROW ANY CODES AND NO IDIOT LIGHTS COME ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES TODAY BEING THE MOST RECENT.
PUSH BUTTON START REQUIRES FOOT ON BRAKE, CAR IN PARK AND PRESS OF BUTTON/IGNITION. WHEN DOING SO, THE ENGINE WILL NOT START. LIGHTS, RADIO, OPEN DOOR WARNING BELLS DING, BUT CAR WILL NOT START. FUSES AND BATTERY HAVE BEEN CHECKED AND ARE GOOD. CAR MUST BE BOOSTED OFF TO START. CHRYSLER WILL NOT FIX THIS ON THEIR DIME EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE RECALLS FOR THIS ON OTHER VEHICLES OF THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL AS MINE. SERVICE AND RECALL TEAM WAS VERY RUDE AND REFUSED TO OFFER ANY HELP.
MY CAR HAS SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING I WAS PULLING OFF OF A STOP SIGN THIS IS A HUGE SAFTEY HAZARD
I HAVE A 2015 CHRYSLER 200 S I HAVE SEARCHED THE RECALL DATABASE AND IT SAYS ALL RECALLS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED. THE VEHICLE HAS HAD ISSUES SINCE I HAVE BOUGHT IT AND TO NO SATISFACTION HAS ANYTHING BEEN COMPLETED. LIGHTS ON MY DASHBOARD ARE FLASHING AND THE SCREEN IS FLASHING DIFFERENT SYSTEMS ARE MALFUNCTIONING. IT SITS IN MY DRIVEWAY I AM AFRAID TO MOVE IT ALTHOUGH NOW IT SAYS IT HAS A MISFIRE AND THE SERVICE AWD LIGHT IS ON. WHEN I DID DRIVE IT THE SERVICE TRANSMISSION LIGHT COMES ON AND THE CAR WILL NOT DRIVE PAST 1500 RPM.
THE CAR STALLED AT A STOP SIGN AND STALLED AGAIN 3 TIMES AFTER THAT. IT READ SHIFT TO P TO START I DID THAT AND IT WOULD NOT LET ME CHANGE GEAR AFTER THAT. I KNOW THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE CHRYSLER 200 SO IT SHOULD BE A RECALL. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE IT HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING IN A ROUNDABOUT AND PEOPLE COULD HAVE REAR ENDED ME.
CAR STOPS WHILE DRIVING IT. VERY DANGEROUS. HAPPENED TWICE WITH THIS VEHICLE ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN FATAL. ENGINE STOPPED WHILE CAR WAS GOING 45 MPH IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. HAVING IT TOWED TO A CHRYSLER DEALER ON THE 10TH OF SEPTEMBER IS AS SOON AS SOMEONE CAN LOOK AT IT. THIS CAR ONLY HAS 55,000 MILES ON IT AND SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING. CAR HAS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED AND IS STILL BEING FINANCED.

I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 35 TO 40 MPH AND THE CAR SUDDENLY BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN TO 5 MILES AN HOUR. I PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND IT SHUT OFF. I HAD IT TOWED WHERE THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME IT WAS THE BATTERY.THEY KEPT MY CAR FOR TWO DAYS. FOR A NEW BATTERY. SO I POPPED UP THERE WITH MY FIANC AND DROVE AROUND TO THE BACK SIDE OF THE DEALERSHIP. I GOT IN MY CAR IT STARTED RIGHT UP. MY CAR HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED OR ANYTHING. I WENT TO THE SERVICE CASHIER WHERE HE TRIED TO SAY THAT PUT A BRAND NEW BATTERY IN IT. BUT I PULLED UP MY CELL PHONE PICS SHOWING IT'S THE SAME BATTERY THAT I PUT RED FINGER NAIL POLISH ON TO SHOW IT'S MY SAME BATTERY. THEY MADE ME PAY FOR ' LOOKING ST MY CAR' EVEN THOUGH...
I HAVE BEEN HAVING ISSUES WITH THIS CAR SINCE DAY 1 AND NOBODY WILL DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. FIRST IT ACT LIKE IT WANTS TO CUT OFF WHILE I'M DRIVING, THEN IT WENT TO ACTING LIKE IT DIDN'T WANT TO START AND NOW MY CAR HAS BEEN SITTING UP FOR MONTHS AND WILL NOT START AT ALL. IT'S READING AIRBAG SYSTEMS AND WARMING ENGINE WAIT TO START. WHEN I WAIT IT STILL WON'T START. CAR ENGINE STALLS WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE. ENGINE JUST SHUTS OFF COMPLETELY. I WILL PULL OVER AND TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND IT WILL THEN START BACK UP BUT DOES IT AGAIN. UPTO 4 TIMES WHILE DRIVING MY CAR HOME FROM WORK.

THE MECHANIC INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V470000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) AND SUGGESTED THAT SHE TOW THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL DEALER. THE CONTACT TOWED THE VEHICLE TO LITHIA CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM OF BRYAN COLLEGE STATION (301 N EARL RUDDER FWY, BRYAN, TX 77802, 979-213-5361) WHERE THEY PERFORMED THEIR OWN DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FRED MARTIN SUPERSTORE (3195 BARBER RD, BARBERTON, OH 44203, (330) 753-4444) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE FAILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,334.
5/30/19 I PURCHASED MY CAR FROM GAGE AUTO SALES IN OREGON. ON 06/01/19 I WAS LEFT STRANDED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT START. I HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. ON 6/2 DEALERSHIP SAID THERE WERE NO STARTING ISSUES AND NO CODES AND I COULD PICK UP THE CAR. STARTING ISSUES PROGRESSIVELY GOT WORSE. LEAVING ME STRANDED MANY TIMES. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON 6/23/19. 6/24/19 TOOK CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WHICH THEY HAD UNTIL 07/12/19 STATING IS WAS THE KEY FOB AND PUSH START BUTTON. ONE WEEK IT RAN FINE THEN RAPIDLY BEGAN TO NOT START, CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS CAME ON ALONG WITH TRANSMISSION LIGHTS. THE CAR HAS BEEN A LEMON SINCE DAY ONE. THE DEALERSHIP HAS SENT ME TO A THIRD PARTY MECHANIC AND ARE TELLING ME THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT COVERED UNDER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY. THIS CAR HAD...

THIS CAR TURNED OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HWY, ALMOST KILLING MYSELF AND PASSENGERS, IT NOW SAYS THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE SERVICED. THE CAR WILL NOT GET UP TO 35 MPH. I HAVE TAKEN THIS CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP 3 TIMES IN 3 MONTHS. EVERY TIME I DO I GET A LAME REASON WHY THE CAR IS ACTING UP BUT IT IS NEVER FIXED. WHILE IN MOTION, THE CHRYSLER 200 WILL SHUT OFF COMPLETELY CAUSING NEAR DEATH ACCIDENTS. ELECTRONIC SYSTEM WILL CAUSE LIGHTS TO FLICKER AND CAUSING THE TRANSMISSION NOT TO ENGAGE. THE VEHICLE OCCASIONALLY WILL NOT EXCEED 20 MPH. I NO LONGER FEEL SAFE IN THE VEHICLE AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED

MY CAR RANDOMLY SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING, SPECIFICALLY DURING TURNS, AND DOES NOT WANT TO RESTART. THIS HAS HAPPENED DURING HIGHWAY AND CITY DRIVING ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. WHEN I CHECKED INTO, IT SAYS I HAVE NO UNREPAIRED RECALLS.

THEN MY CAR RANDOMLY SHUTS OFF AND SAYS SERVICE PARK BRAKE AND SERVICE TRANSMISSION. IT WILL NOT COME BACK ON. I LOOKED ON THE THREADS ONLINE TO SEE WHAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM AND THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUES I'M HAVING SINCE THEY FIRST PURCHASED THEIR VEHICLE. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS TO HAVE A CAR TRY TO SHUT OFF ON YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD.
AFTER DRIVING THE CAR 30 MINUTES OR MORE AND I TURN IT OFF, IT WILL NOT RESTART FOR ANOTHER 30 MINUTES OR MORE. IT HAD LEFT ME STRANDED AS WELL AS CAUSED ME TO BE LATE FOR WORK JEAPORDIZING MY JOB AND MY SAFETY. THE CAR HAS BEEN TO 2 DIFFERENT DEALERS AND THEY CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. I CANNOT TRADE IT IN BECAUSE THE BLUE BOOK VALUE IS LESS THAN WHAT I OWE. I FEEL THAT CHRYSLER SHOULD COMPENSATE ME FOR THIS VEHICLE BY BUYING IT BACK AT THE PRICE I PAID. SOMETIMES THE DASH SAYS 'ENGINE WARMING UP, PLEASE WAIT.'

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,019.
WARNING LIGHT AIR BAG HAS BEEN ON WON'T TURN OFF, VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY. VEHICLE LOSES POWER DRIVING, VEHICLE STALLS OUT WHEN BACKING IN REVERSE.
MY CAR SHUTS OFF WITH NO WARNING WHAT SO EVER. CHECK ENGINE IS NOT ON AND MY CAR RUNS AND DRIVES AMAZING. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY FIXED IT BUT WHEN I WENT TO DRIVE AND HOUR AFTER I PICKED THE CAR UP FROM THE DEALERSHIP IT SHUT OFF.
SINCE I PURCHASED MY CAR IN 2017, I HAVE HAD CONSISTENT ISSUES WITH THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTING ABRUPTLY INTO NEUTRAL AND SURGING, AS WELL AS THE DASH BOARD ELECTRICAL FLASHING AND GOING VERY DIM. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN THIS CAR! I NEED YOUR HELP AS I CANNOT AFFORD ANY REPAIRS AT THIS TIME.
THE CAR WILL INTERMITTENTLY STALL AND SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING. THE CAR HAS DONE THIS NUMEROUS TIMES WHILE IN MOTION ON BOTH THE HIGHWAY AND CITY STREETS. IT HAPPENED AGAIN TODAY AND EVERY DAY LAST WEEK, MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, WHILE DRIVING TO WORK. THE PROBLEM HAS PROGRESSIVELY GOTTEN WORSE AND HAPPENS JUST ABOUT EVERY TIME THE CAR IS DRIVEN. IT USUALLY HAPPENS AFTER 20+ MINUTES OF CONTINUOUS DRIVING. AFTER IT STALLED TODAY IT WOULD NOT START FOR 45 MINUTES. CHRYSLER AND THE DEALERSHIP HAVE BASICALLY WASHED THEIR HANDS OF CORRECTING THE PROBLEM AT THIS POINT. THEY STATE THE RECALL FOR THIS VERY PROBLEM HAS BEEN COMPLETED. YET THE CAR CONTINUES TO HAVE THE SAME ISSUE AS THE RECALL THAT WAS DONE TO FIX THE ORIGINAL ISSUE. THE DEALERSHIP NOW WANTS TO CHARGE TO DIAGNOSE AND FIX THE PROBLEM.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE KEY WAS IN THE IGNITION SWITCH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT HAD TO WAIT AT LEAST SIX HOURS OR MORE FOR THE VEHICLE TO RESTART AND RESUME NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FIRST CAR (3119 SAN EMIDIO ST, BAKERSFIELD, CA 93304, (661) 395-3005) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 92,550.
CAR WAS PARKED FOR 4 1/2 HOURS AND SPONTANEOUSLY CAUGHT FIRE.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 36,144.
WHEN COMING TO A STOP OR ACCELERATING FROM A COMPLETE STOP EITHER TURNING OR STRAIGHT, THE ENGINE STALLS WITHOUT WARNING & THERE IS NO POWER STEERING OR MOMENTUM TO SAFELY PULL OVER. I HAVE BEEN STUCK WITH HAZARDS ON AT NEIGHBORHOOD STOP SIGNS, IN STOPPED TRAFFIC AFTER THE LIGHT TURNS GREEN, FREEWAY ON RAMPS, IN THE CENTER OF SMALL & LARGE INTERSECTIONS BLOCKING TRAFFIC, ON RAILROAD TRACKS, & MORE. IT CAN TAKE UP TO 3 TRIES FOR THE ENGINE TO RESTART. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE, & I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT I SHOULD BE STUCK IN AN INTERSECTION BECAUSE A NEWER CAR WITH SUCH LOW MILES DIES EVERY DAY, OFTEN SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. MY OIL WAS RECENTLY CHANGED 2/28/2019, THE OIL IS 3 MONTHS OLD AND I'VE ONLY DRIVE 2,133 MILES SINCE. MY CAR TAKES FULL SYNTHETIC OIL AND SHOULD LAST FOR 6,000 MILES. FIRST PROBLEM: THE CAR STALLS AND/OR DIES WHILE DRIVING. IT DID THIS WHILE MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING AND SHE HAD TO PULL OVER ON THE HIGHWAY. I MANAGED TO GET IT STARTED AND DRIVE IT HOME BUT IT WOULD NOT GO OVER 25 MPH. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL LIGHT, AND THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT (?) WERE ALL ON. SECOND PROBLEM: THERE IS A MESSAGE TO SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM COMES ON. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND OTHER PEOPLE WIT THE SAME PROBLEM. ON THE YELLOW WIRE BOX UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT, THERE WAS A BLACK LATCH (?) THAT CLICKED WHEN I SQUEEZED. THE MESSAGE WENT AWAY.
