MY 2015 FORD FOCUS HAS A HORRIBLE CLUTCH SHUDDER AND SLIPS WHEN YOU TRY TO PULL OUT INTO TRAFFIC. I HAVE SPOKEN TO FORD ABOUT THIS AND THEY CLAIM THERE IS NO ISSUE THAT WOULD CAUSE THE SLIPPAGE. THEY RECOGNIZE THERE IS A SHUDDER PROBLEM, BUT REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN AND THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THE VEHICLE. THE TITLE IS BRANDED DUE TO AN ACCIDENT INVOLVING THE REAR PASSENGER CORNER AND IT BEING A CHEAP CAR. THE ACCIDENT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HORRIBLE TRANSMISSION/CLUTCH THEY DESIGNED AND NEW THAT IT WAS A BAD DESIGN. THIS HESITATION CAUSES THE CAR TO JOLT BACK AND FORTH WITH A POSSIBLE CAUSE TO CRASH INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF YOU DURING SLOW TRAFFIC. THE SERVICE ADVISOR AT THE FORD DEALERSHIP HAS EXPLAINED THIS AS AN ANNOYANCE INSTEAD OF A SAFETY ISSUE. FORD HAS EXTENDED THE WARRANTY FOR THE CLUTCH REPLACEMENT, BUT I BOUGHT THIS CAR WITH A REBUILT TITLE AND FORD WILL NOT HONOR OR COVER THE CLUTCH UNDER THE WARRANTY. THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME $2000 ON A KNOWN PROBLEM BECAUSE OF THE REBUILT TITLE. NOW A DAYS IT DOES NOT TAKE MUCH FOR AN INSURANCE COMPANY TO TOTAL A CAR WITH A SMALL FENDER BENDER. FORD MOTOR COMPANY SHOULD COVER THE TRANSMISSION WARRANTY OF THE CAR WITH EITHER A CLEAN TITLE OR SALVAGED TITLE.

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THEY COULD REBUILD THE TRANSMISSION; HOWEVER, SHE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR OUT OF POCKET. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,685.
