THIS PROBLEM HAS HAPPEND TWICE. I WAS TURNING ON TO A ROAD AND THE CAR LOSS ALL POWER STEERING. THE DISPLAY SHOWED SERVICE IMMEDIATELY AND A ENGINE LIGHT. I TURNED IT OFF AND RESTARTED AND IT WORKED AGAIN NO INDICATORS. CALLED CHRYSLER LOCAL SERVICE THEY SAID THEY HAVEN'T HEARD OF IT, AND IT WAS PROBABLY A GLITCH. THEN A WEEK LATER WHILE GOING 70 MPH ON INTERSTATE 35 WITH MY SON IN THE CAR I LOSS POWER STEERING AGAIN. SAME THING THO WHEN I TURNED IT OFF AND TURNED IT ON THIS TIME THE INDICATORS STAYED ON. HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. WHEN THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER DROVE IT OF THE TRUCK THE POWER STEERING WAS WORKING THE INDICATOR LIGHT WAS STILL ON. THIS DEFECT IS GOING TO KILL SOMEONE.

LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO PULL OFF THE ROAD IN TIME BEFORE GETTING CRUSHED BY A TRACTOR TRAILER. FUNNY THING IS, I KNEW THIS WAS COMING. I CALLED MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP ON WEDNESDAY TO TELL THEM I SUSPECTED MY CAR WAS GOING TO HAVE THE SAME ISSUES OTHERS HAVE HAD. MY CAR STARTED SHAKING QUITE A BIT WHEN I WAS DRINKING ON TUESDAY 2/21/17. THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION, SUCH AS A BROKEN NOSE, CUTS TO THE FACE AND HANDS, A SPRAINED NECK, HEAD TRAUMA, AND BRUISES TO BOTH LEGS AND CHEST. THE CONTACT DID NOT RECALL EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED DUE TO BEING UNCONSCIOUS. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A JUNK YARD WHERE IT WAS DEEMED DESTROYED. AFTER SITTING FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 MINUTES, THE CAR FINALLY RESTARTED. AS I FINALLY STARTED TO GO, THE CAR WOULD ACCELERATE QUICKLY AND THEN SLOW DOWN. AS I PULLED OUT ONTO THE HIGHWAY, MY CAR BEGAN TO STALL, IT WOULD NOT PULL FORWARD. IT MADE A NOISE LIKE THE TRANSMISSION IS GOING OUT. SO, I CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP AND STARTED ON MY ROUTE AGAIN.
