Jeep will not include my vehicle in the Instrument cluster failure because they predetermined which vin numbers were affected and did not include my 2020 Jeep Gladiator on the list. But my vehicle clearly has the electrical problem causing the center instrument cluster to not work and be blank. I cannot see how many miles I drove or how much gas is in the tank and cannot see anything outside of MPH and RPM.
The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the instrument cluster failed to display the odometer or safety features as intended. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the instrument cluster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Investigation: PE25014 (Electrical System) and NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (Electrical System); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000.
The instrument panel completely failed It went blank with no warning Lost access to critical driving information It creates a serious safety risk There is a known recall for the same issue, but my VIN was excluded
Center lost all lighting, cannot see gas gauge, oil pressure, engine heat gauge and odometer reading. This is my 3rd complaint. Is there anything going on with this problem.
The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the instrument panel flickered before going completely blank. The failure was intermittent, but the instrument panel permanently became blank. The contact called the independent mechanic where the vehicle was purchased and was informed that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The contact then called the NHTSA Hotline, and it was confirmed that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (Electrical System). The contact was advised to contact the manufacturer for further assistance. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The contact then reached out to the independent mechanic, who then sent the vehicle to a local dealer, where the vehicle was repaired out of pocket. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000.
The digital gauge cluster went blank and does not display any important information. 32k vehicles have been issued a recall but my VIN was not included. I also heard that 90k+ other vehicles had the same problem but new recall was not issued.
I reported over a year ago that my center display went blank and is still blank. When I first reported the problem the first recalls came out on other gladiators but mine wasn't included in that recall. And still today every gladiator has been recalled except mine. I dont understand how older models and some 2020 and even new models have been recalled but mine still hasn't been. So here I am going on 2 years plus and nothing. Guessing how much gas is in my jeep is getting old especially since I paid so much for this vehicle. Its dangerous to drive since all your warnings and fuel is all on that display.
Instrument panel cluster has gone black. Checked fuses and they are well seated.
The contact's sister owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. While the contact’s sister was driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument cluster went black. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the instrument cluster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and provided a complaint number. The contact researched online and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (Electrical System); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 77,000.
The instrument dash cluster stopped working December 13, 2025. I notified the dealership immediately a thy scheduled for us to bring it in December 16, 2025. This is a safety concern because no warning would be visible, no gas gauge visible, no odometer availability either. I took it to the Jeep dealership we bought it from and they confirmed the faulty instrument dash cluster. Currently our Jeep Gladiator has been marked out of service since December 16, 2025. Files a Jeep claim and was assigned a Case Manager. Original quote for the part to become available was 45 days from December 17, 2025. Then supplier canceled the part order so the dealership’s parts department placed another order with an ETA of March 3, 2026. Supplier canceled the order again and now there’s no ETA but the part has been ordered. This is the 2nd major issue we’ve had. June 28,...
Driving and center instrument cluster went blank. I can no longer see any digital display including but not limited to; gas, mileage, warning lights, digital speedometer, tire pressure...
One morning the instrumental cluster display would not display mileage, fuel capacity, temperature, or any notifications. The dealership inspected it for a blow fuse and a computer reset and determined the display shorted and would need to be replaced. I called FCA regarding a recall for this exact problem on 2020 Jeep gladiators and that this was a known safety issue released by nhtsa. I was told by FCA that this trim level was not included in this recall. My jeep Overlook was overlooked. Trim level deals with extras like heated seats not foundation electrical installation. The recall 30B is as follows: 5/8/2024ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL Summary Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Jeep Gladiator and 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The instrument panel cluster may experience an internal short circuit and fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard...
digital dash cluster became erratic then blacked out entirely. Restarting vehicle didn't help. Cannot see fuel gage nor safety alerts any more.
Instrument cluster gauge panel. It doesn't work, and other gladiator models have been recalled for the same issues. Issues with radio, have taken it in many times for same issues and nothing changed, wiring doesn't work properly under seats and on driver door. The green busbox was faulty from factory, can't have glove box in due to interfering with wires behide it.
The instrument panel cluster has gone blank. It was slowly going bad and eventually went out alltogether.
Our dash board has gone black and we can not see how fast we are going how much fuel we have or the milage or anything else on the dash. The radio still works but nothing else on the dash is working. there are 32,000 other vehicles with recalls on this same issue our truck does not fall under the recall batch but obviously should. this is a major safety issue
The instrument panel cluster (IPC) failed. The speedometer, fuel gauge, and other driver information displays no longer function. The vehicle and failed instrument cluster are available for inspection upon request. The failure resulted in loss of critical driving information, including vehicle speed and fuel level. This creates a safety risk because I cannot accurately monitor speed, receive warning indicators, or assess vehicle operating conditions while driving. The issue has been diagnosed by ASE certified shop No warning lamps or messages were displayed prior to the failure. The instrument cluster failed suddenly and without warning.
The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the messages "Gear Shift Reset", and "Loss of Stability Control" were displayed, and the check engine warning light, the brake system warning light and other unknown warning lights were illuminated. Additionally, the power steering feature suddenly failed to operate as designed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that a wiring harness needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired by the dealer; however, the contact completed the repair himself. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
Instrument cluster display quit working just black screen
The digital instrument cluster in my 2020 Jeep Gladiator has failed. The center display (LCD) went completely black, even though the backlight still glows faintly. This screen typically displays critical information such as vehicle speed, warnings, messages, and alerts. Without this display, I cannot monitor key safety information while driving. The analog gauges still function, but the central digital panel remains blank regardless of ignition mode (RUN or ON). After diagnosing the issue myself, I confirmed power was present at the fuse terminals. I inspected and replaced fuse F36, which was damaged and likely contributed to the display losing power or shorting. I also inspected related fuses F43 and F57 (BCM and IOD power supply), which were intact. This is not an isolated problem. Research shows that other Jeep Gladiator owners (especially 2020 models) are experiencing identical symptoms — black instrument displays, “Push Brake to Start” messages that stay on...
The instrument panel on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator has gone blank. No water temp, no oil pressure, no odometer, no gas gauge (VIN [XXX] ). This is 2nd complaint form. I realize gov shutdown has effected the process but 2 days after report 1st I saw an article that said NHSTA had opened investigation on this problem. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
My 2020 Jeep Gladiator has a defective instrument panel screen. This appears identical to the current documented model recall yet Jeep does not include my VIN on the list of recalled vehicles. The current recall number is: NHTSA 24V-652. This presents a serious safety issue and I hope that someone from NHTSA is looking into this.
The information screen in the instrument cluster between the speedometer and tachometer went blank. Sometimes it will light up blue or even function. The screen is the display for fuel, temperature, odometer, gear selected, etc. From what I have read this happens to many of these vehicles. The fix dealers are using is to use remanufactured parts which are back ordered with no known date of delivery. I am informed the remanufactured part is about $500 not including labor. The vehicle will run and drive, however I won't know how much gas I have, I don't know if the vehicle is overheating, and I don't know how many miles I have traveled without trying to track it. If I want the new part to have an accurate odometer I have to leave it with the dealer for an unknown period of time. This seems potentially unsafe and likely to impact...
Center dash LCD screen blinked in and out and then went completely black. Cannot see odometer, maintenance messages, warning messages, or the fuel gauge.
Instrument cluster does not work. I cannot see oil levels, gas levels, speed (digitally), any warning lights, or miles on vehicle.
2020 Gladiator Rubicon 7" gauge cluster went blank and no longer displays fuel level, mileage, or any other data. Lack of fuel and or mileage reading could result in running out of fuel in risky situations. Problem has been noted by many other owners of the same vehicle and is similar to the issue seen with the 3.5" display. No prior symptoms or lights were present. The problem just occurred within the last week at around 74k miles.
My Jeep Gladiator has recently been having multiple random error messages popping up. ABS warning, service 4WD, service shifter, traction control and others. Dealership charged $200 to diag a bad ABS module and charged $1400 to replace the module and controller. Less than 24 hrs later same issue occurred . Doing my own research this seems to be a common issue not just with Gladiators but other Jeeps as well. Many forums are saying it’s bad wire connectors or broken wires from improper initial installation. Causes issues with speed control, braking, and power steering.
The main instrument cluster went blank while driving down the road. This happened without warning or notice. I lost speed, fuel, turn signal, engine data, tire pressure, etc. I’m driving blind. I’ve read that there was a recall initially issued in 2024, that only covered a little over 30,000 vehicles. According my VIN number, I was not covered under that recall for some reason. I am officially reporting this issue for my VIN number.
The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument cluster failed to display pertinent vehicle information. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the instrument cluster. The vehicle was repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Action Number: PE25014 (Electrical System). The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 49,000.
The instrument cluster failed back in the Spring. We took it to the dealer where it sat for 4 weeks while the part was back ordered. We took it back from the dealer and changed the batteries, the panel started working again for 3 months the and ultimately failed again. We have tried to manage the gas, but have run out twice on the highway, coming to an unexpected stop with little time to pull over. We can't see warning lights, gas level, cruise control status etc.
In May of 2024 the center screen on my instrument cluster failed. There was a recall on this but my VIN was not included. 2020 Jeep Gladiator [XXX] . Now, an NHTSA probe was announced on the same issue. I paid $2,765.75 in parts and labor to have the failed screen replaced. Ultimately, I am hoping to be reimbursed for this. Gauge Cluster Went Completly Black While Driving!!! Cant Tell Speed Or Warning Lights.
Dash lights (entire dash lights including radio and start/stop, heat/air) have gone out while driving. It is available for inspection upon request. Without critical information displayed there is an increased risk of a crash. Yes, the problem has occurred on other 2020 Jeep Gladiators and there is a recall on them. I took it the dealer and was informed that my Gladiator doesn’t fall under the recall. There was no indications other than a clicking noise in the dash and out they went. After the 4th time, the start/stop light has been on and doesn’t work and also on that part of the panel, heat/air controls do not work properly. When I start the vehicle, the air conditioner automatically comes on, on high and at the same time, the rear defogger/ heated mirrors comes on also and I cannot turn them off. They stay on for 5 minutes and then...
Driver side rear wheel speed sensor. This is a known issue national back order on the part, mechanic installed new part system does not reset and clear. In the current state, abs offline four-wheel drive system service required traction control service required. What is the true fix for this?
The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated that the instrument panel failed to illuminate or display the mileage, fuel level, and other information necessary to the operation of the vehicle. The contact stated that when the sun visor was down to block the sun and the vehicle was driven over uneven pavement, the sun visor occasionally slightly detached and blocked the view of the driver. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the instrument panel needed to be replaced. The dealer confirmed that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (Electrical System); however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
7” ipc screen started glitching when driving and then went blank. Can’t see any of the fuel gauge temp gauge or any warning lights or anything.
The instrument cluster is not working. The 3.5” display is no longer functioning. This results in not knowing the oil pressure gauge, fuel gauge, odometer reading, temp gauge, and other warning/information gauges, etc. This issue has been confirmed but a service center, repair order attached. There was no warning to indicate a problem. The cluster just quick working.
Instrument panel has gone out. Can't see gas gauge, oil pressure, speedometer, engine water temperature, etc. My VIN number does not appear on recall list but it still is a safety condition that I feel is something that the manufacturer should fix. Any help will be appreciated. Can my VIN be added to recall.
I experienced the blank dash cluster screen that was recalled on other models. Critical vehicle information is invisible without the screen
The information center on my 2020 Jeep gladiator will go out and will stay off for months at a time, as well as all warning lights. I consider this to be a serious safety hazard.
IPC instrument panel cluster flashing for about a week then went blank total black out could not read important data to operate the car example check engine light gas speedometer tire inflation all safety on operating vehicle not to mention tbe blinking on and off dir a week ir so distracting you from driving the vehicle or worrying if you had gas ir tire pressure or set controls for your vehicle . The jeep mopar site says ipc malfunctioning , drive shaft malfunctioning as well as 1 other recall . I even called the dealer . This is very unsafe .
The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the instrument cluster was blank. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer and was informed that there was a recall for the failure for similar vehicles and scheduled an appointment. The contact stated that failure was intermittent but had become a constant failure. The contact had taken the vehicle to the same local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the instrument cluster had a short circuit and needed to be replaced. The contact requested information of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (Electrical System); and was informed by the dealer that the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000.
The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle lost motive power, lost braking power, and lost power steering functionality. The contact stated that the failure had occurred while driving at high speeds, which caused the contact to be frightened. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact was able to pull to the side of the road. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times to be diagnosed, but the cause of the failure had not been determined. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired and remained with the dealer. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000. The VIN was unavailable.
IPC went dark. I cannot see odometer, gas gauge, or any warnings on the IPC.. Confirmed by dealership. There were no warnings IPC just went dark.
Speedometer, gas gauge cluster is blank Would come on and off now totally blank.
The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated while driving approximately 15-20 MPH, the instrument cluster became inoperable. The contact stated that the failure was linked to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (Electrical System). The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the instrument cluster was defective. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.
Instrument panel cluster loss power. No prior warning signs before loss of power.
Instrument cluster panel blank
During normal driving, dash would display multiple warning lights. There would be traction control, ABS inactive, and transmission errors displayed on the screen. Twice, there was a loss of power steering while driving. All signs pointed to a CAN buss issue, but dealer could not/ would not find it. Doing research, I found that the CAN buss connector located behind the glove compartment was known in the Jeep community to fail and cause these symptoms. The only replacement is offered by Mopar/Stellantis. Multiple models and makes under Stellantis company use this same connector that has bad solder connections inside. It causes increased resistance inside the connector, and causes CAN buss communication errors, and setting any one of hundreds of possible DTC. In every occasion, there was a loss of stability control, ABS, and multiple occasions of vehicle being locked in Park. In two occasions, the electric assist power steering was...
My instrument cluster 7.0” tft color display flickers on and off and is distracted while I drive. There is a recall for the 3.5” display that does NOT cover my jeep gladiator but perhaps the recall needs to be expanded. Mine was gladiator is covered by an extended warranty but the part is on back order for 6 months. I am at 5 months but still no sign of a part. Since jeep nor the warranty company nor the dealership will provide a rental car, I am driving an unsafe vehicle with the dash flickering on on off every 3 seconds. It is more distracting at night than during the day.
