Airbags didn't deploy when I was hit by another driver whose speed was greater than 35mph n the other driver didn't break or slow down when hitting me on the driver n left passenger doors. I requested for my insurance company to preserve the vehicle for inspection but I don't know how long they can hold it because it was determined a TOTAL LOSS. When I was hit NONE of my airbags deployed n because of that, left side of my head n shoulder were slammed into driver's door. The vehicle was inspected by my insurance n a certified mechanic n due to impact n location of damage done to vehicle, both parties determined vehicle was TOTAL LOSS n couldn't b repaired. There were no warnings lamps or ANY messages n other symptoms of the problem prior to deployment failure.
My panoramic sunroof just shattered without reason.i wasn't close enough to any vehicle for a rock or debris to be the issue I was driving a steady speed on the freeway when it happen. The glass that broke seemed to have broke outward not inward.
We purchased the 2019 Jeep Cherokee new from a Jeep dealership. At 15,000 miles (approx.) the hood began to bounce up and down 1/2" to 3/4" while driving at highway speeds, driving into a wind or following a semi-truck. In addition to the obviously concern over the safety of the hood bouncing and potentially unlatching, this causes the auto start/stop function of the engine to malfunction. We had the Jeep dealership inspect the problem several times under the 36,000 mile warranty period and they adjusted the hood each time, but the hood bouncing would return in a matter of days or a week. They failed to resolve the issue under warranty. Now, we have 79,300 miles on the vehicle and the hood was inspected by a Jeep dealership and it has been adjusted to the maximum adjustment and the hood still bounces dangerously. The dealership now tells us that the...
Both front doors fill with water in even the lightest rain. A health emergence is developing due to mold forming. Additionally, any/all electronics in the door are likely to short out causing many safety issues if this known problem is not addressed by the manufacturer .
When stopped at a light, the light turned green, the parking break engaged and the car shut off. The car behind me almost rear-ended me. After waiting a minute I put the car in park and tried to start the car again. I had to put the gas pedal to the floor to get the car to start and not stall out. This has happened on multiple occasions. I took the car to the dealer and learned that I had a motor with faulty rings and was given a new motor, however this problem has still persisted. The driver side door also accumulates water. Enough water to hear when making a turn.
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving downhill at approximately 30 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed and went to the floorboard. The contact stated that an excessive amount of pressure on the brake pedal was needed before the vehicle came to a stop. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who diagnosed that there was excessive rust on the rotors. The contact was informed that the rotors, calipers, and brake pads needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 15,500.
SINCE I BOUGHT OUR 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE NEW, THE HOOD HAS HAD A BAD FLUTTER. IT FLUTTERS BAD ENOUGH THAT IT SETS OFF THE AUTO STOP/START LIGHT. HAVE HAD IT INTO THE DEALER AT LEAST 6 TIMES AND NO RESOLUTION. IT FLUTTERS SO BAD THAT IT SEEMS THE HOOD IS ACTUALLY GOING TO FLY OPEN. IT REALLY GETS BAD WHEN YOU PASS ANOTHER VEHICHLE.
WHILE DRIVING, MY REAR HATCH WARNING CAME ON, I PULLED OVER TO REALIZE THAT THE LATCH WOULD NOT LOCK, CAUSING MY LIGHTS TO STAY ON, CAUSING A COLD ENVIRONMENT FOR MY 9 MONTHS OLD BABY, WITH THE DOOR NOT BEING ABLE TO SEAL. WITH THIS BROKEN, ALSO DISABLES MY REMOTE START, VOIDING ANY ANTI THEFT ABILITIES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE. THE CONTACTED STATED THAT AFTER PUSHING THE REAR LIFTGATE BUTTON TO CLOSE THE LIFTGATE, THE DOOR CLOSED ALTHOUGH THERE WAS AN OBJECT PRESENT IN THE CLOSING PATH OF THE DOOR. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE SAFETY MECHANISM TO PREVENT THE DOOR FROM CLOSING ONTO THE OBJECT HAD MALFUNCTIONED CAUSING THE OBJECT TO BECOME STUCK BETWEEN THE DOOR. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER LEE'S SUMMIT DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM LOCATED AT 1051 SE. OLDHAM PKWY, LEE'S SUMMIT, MO 64081 AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER, NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 19,000.
I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE TRAIL HAWK FROM AN AMARILLO TEXAS DEALERSHIP. I NOTICED WHEN I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE THE HOOD WAS SHAKING AND THE WIND WAS PICKING IT UP LIKE IT WAS LOOSE. I TOOK IT IN 3 TIMES TO HAVE IT FIXED. THE FIRST TIME THEY SAID THE FACTORY MISALIGNED THE HOOD AT THE FACTORY AND THEY REALIGNED IT. IT STILL WAS SHAKING AND COMING UP. TOOK IT BACK 2ND TIME THEY ADJUSTED IT AGAIN, TOOK IT HOME SAME PROBLEM, NOT FIXED. TOOK IT BACK A THIRD TIME THEY LOOKED AT IT SAID THEY DID ALL THEY COULD DO TO FIX IT. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING A BRAND NEW VEHICLE THAT IS UNSAFE ON THE HIGHWAY. MY HOOD STILL CATCHES AIR PULLS UP AND SLAMS DOWN AND AN ENGINE LIGHT HAS COME ON 3 TIMES. I HAVE CHILDREN THAT RIDE IN THIS CAR. I DON'T...
PLASTIC DOOR TRIM IS COMING OFF EXTERIOR OF VEHICLE. NOTICED WHILE WASHING THE VEHICLE. THE DRIVER SIDE SUN VISOR ALSO RIPPED OUT OF HEADLINER AFTER A HANDFUL OF USES. THE FIRST TIME WAS WHILE DRIVING. COMPLETELY DANGEROUS AS IT TAKES 2 HANDS TO PUT IT BACK UP.
SINCE THE DAY I PICKED UP THIS 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE LIMITED TWO WEEKS AGO, THE HOOD SHAKES AND FLUTTERS IN CERTAIN DRIVING CONDITIONS CAUSING SAFETY CONCERNS. DRIVING INTO HIGH WINDS AND OVER 55 MPH, AIR GETS UNDER THE HOOD IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT SEEMS AS IF THE HOOD COULD BREAK LOOSE CAUSING EITHER INJURIES OR AN ACCIDENT. IT GETS EVEN WORSE WHEN DRIVING IN SIDE WINDS AND MEETING SEMI TRUCKS. IT ACTUALLY APPEARS THAT THE GUST OF WIND COMING OFF THE TRUCK IS GOING TO TAKE THE HOOD OFF OF THE VEHICLE. DRIVING THIS CHEROKEE IN THESE CONDITIONS HAS PERSONALLY CAUSED ME VERY HIGH ANXIETY TO THE POINT WHERE I AM CONSTANTLY FOCUSED ON THE HOOD RATHER THAN THE ROAD. WHEN MEETING SEMI TRUCKS ON THE HIGHWAY, I PULL AS FAR TO THE RIGHT AS POSSIBLE SOMETIMES COMPLETELY GOING OFF THE ROAD IN AN ATTEMPT TO MINIMIZE THE...
WHILE TRAVELING ON THE INTERSTATE AND PASSING SEMI-TRUCK TRAILER'S THE 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE HOOD VIBRATES EXCESSIVELY UP AND DOWN (I-70 SPEED LIMIT IS 75 MPH). THE UP AND DOWN HOOD VIBRATION ACTION CAUSES THE A STOP / START MESSAGE TO APPEAR IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DISPLAY.
THE TAIL LIGHTS BECOME CLOUDED DUE TO CONDENSATION THAT APPEARS AFTER THE RUNNING LIGHTS HAVE WARMED UP THE INSIDE OF THE TAIL LIGHT HOUSING. THIS OCCURS IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS. CONDENSATION DOES DISSIPATE OR FADE AWAY WHEN LIGHTS AND THE CAR HAVE BEEN TURNED OFF AND STATIONARY FOR SOME TIME.
I WAS SITTING IN TRAFFIC ON THE 105 FREEWAY, AT APPROXIMATELY 2-3 MILES PER HOUR, AND MY CAR SUDDENLY LUNGED FORWARD HITTING THE OTHER CAR IN FRONT OF ME, MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE THE ENTIRE TIME. TIME OF OCCURRENCE WAS JAN 28, 2019 APPROXIMATELY 2:30PM.
