THE 2015 HONDA CR-V HAS A PROBLEM WITH A VIBRATION WHILE THE CAR IS STOPPED IDLE AND IN DRIVE AT SLOW SPEEDS THE IDLING OCCURS AT EVERY STOP LIGHT, AND IN HEAVY HIGHWAY BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC. THE VIBRATIONS ARE EXPERIENCED IN THE FRONT PASSENGER AND DRIVER SEATS AND CENTER CONSOLE. DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS EXPERIENCE MOTION SICKNESS INCLUDING HEADACHES, NAUSEA. ANY NEW PASSENGER IN MY VEHICLE IS STARTLED BY THE VIBRATIONS. EVERY NEW PASSENGER COMMENTS ABOUT THE STARTLING VIBRATIONS. SOME PASSENGERS EVEN SCREAM DUE TO THE STARTLING VIBRATIONS. ALL OF THIS IS EXTREMELY DISTRACTING TO THE DRIVER WHO IS TRYING TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE TRAFFIC. THE CAR FEELS LIKE IT IS HESITATING AND WILL STALL WHEN THE GAS PETAL IS DEPRESSED. THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED YET, BUT THE ISSUE IS GETTING WORSE NOT BETTER. HONDA ADMITS TO THIS ISSUE, BUT OFFERS NO RESOLUTION AND CALLS THIS MERELY AN ANNOYANCE....

I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW CR-V EX-L BASED ON EXCELLENT REVIEWS FROM CONSUMER REPORTS AND EDMUNDS. I EXPECTED THE CAR TO BE PERFECT. HOWEVER, HONDA SOLD ME THE DEFECTED CAR WITHOUT ANY NOTICE EVEN THIS DEFECT WAS KNOWN FOR MONTHS. THE ISSUE IS A VIBRATION DURING IDLE. FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN I STOP ON THE TRAFFIC LIGHT, THE PASSENGER SEAT STARTS TO SHAKE. IF I RELEASE BREAKS VIBRATIONS WILL GO AWAY. IT IS NOT NORMAL. I NOTICED THIS PROBLEM 2 MONTHS AFTER THE PURCHASE (OR 600-700 MILES). THEN I WENT TO THE DEALER AND HE TOLD ME THAT HONDA'S ENGINEERS WERE "WORKING ON IT", NO SOLUTION WAS FOUND YET AND I HAD TO WAIT FOR A FURTHER NOTICE. VISIBLE VIBRATIONS MEAN THAT THERE IS MECHANICAL RESONANCE IN THE CAR. AN EXAMPLE OF DESTRUCTION DUE TO MECHANICAL RESONANCE WOULD BE A COLLAPSE OF TACOMA NARROWS BRIDGE. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE ON OCTOBER 18, 2015. I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE VIBRATION ISSUES UNTIL AFTER I BOUGHT IT. THE DAY AFTER I BOUGHT IT I NOTICED SIGNIFICANT VIBRATIONS WHEN WAITING AT THE LIGHT TO TURN GREEN OR TO MAKE A LEFT/RIGHT TURN WHILE ON D GEAR. I PURCHASED A 2015 HONDA CR-V WITH 35 MILES. BEFORE MY PURCHASE I TEST DROVE IT WITH NO COMPLAINTS. VIBRATIONS AND RUMBLES WHEN IN DRIVE WHILE AT STOPS WITH FOOT ON BRAKES. IT'S GETTING WORSE. INITIAL VISIT AT THE HONDA DEALER, THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE. THE SECOND TIME AT A DEALER THEY SAID AN ENGINE UPDATE WAS NEEDED AND SHOULD STOP IT. WELL IT GOT WORSE, SO I TOOK IT BACK AND THE VIBRATION AND RUMBLE WAS DUPLICATED BUT HONDA DOESN'T HAVE A FIX. ROUGH IDLES AT STOPS AND LOW SPEEDS CAN CAUSE A STRAIN ON THE ENGINE AND EVENTUALLY ENGINE FAILURE. THE VIBRATION IS SO BAD THAT IT SENDS WAVES THRU MY FOOT WHEN IT'S ON THE BRAKES AND THE VIBRATION IS FELT THROUGH OUT MY BODY. THE FRONT AND BACK SEATS VIBRATES UNTIL MY 9 YEAR OLD THINKS THAT WE'RE GETTING A BUTT MASSAGE. THIS IS REALLY SAD AND AN UNFORTUNATE LOSS OF A LOYAL CUSTOMERS TRUST IN HONDA SINCE 1990.

I PURCHASED MY HONDA CR-V TOURING 2015 ON AUGUST 29, 2015,APPROXIMATELY FIVE WEEKS AGO. IT HAS A VIBRATION WHEN STOPPED WHILE IN DRIVE (LIKE AT A STOP LIGHT OR STOP SIGN) IT ALSO HAS AN INTERMITTENT STRONG VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL ON HIGHWAYS. I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE AND AS I SEARCHED THIS PROBLEM ON THE INTERNET, I'VE SEEN A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE EXPERIENCING THIS PROBLEM. THEY ALL SAY WHEN THEY TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALER IT DOES NOT GET REPAIRED AND APPARENTLY HONDA IS ACKNOWLEDGING THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM NOW. BEING THAT I WORK,I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO GO BACK TO THE DEALER AND SIT THERE KNOWING (FROM OTHER PEOPLE'S EXPERIENCES) THAT IT WILL NOT GET CORRECTED.

THE CR-V VIBRATES WHEN STATIONARY IN PARK POSITION AND WHEN YOU DRIVE. IT REALLY SHAKES AS YOU DRIVE IN THE CITY STOPPING AT STOP SIGNS OR LIGHTS WHILE IN DRIVE. IT FEELS LIKE ENGINE COULD STOP. IT HAS A SLIGHT HESITATION UPON ACCELERATING. THIS IS WITH THE A/C OFF. THE A/C DISGUISES THE VIBRATION WHEN ON MOSTLY.
VEHICLE VIBRATES BADLY WHEN AT IDLE IN DRIVE WITH FOOT ON BRAKE. VEHICLE ALSO VIBRATES WHEN RPM IS AROUND 2000 RPM WHEN MOVING. CAN BE FELT IN STEERING WHEEL, SEATS, DASHBOARD,AND FLOOR. HONDA ADMITS THERE IS A PROBLEM BUT NO REMEDY IN SITE AFTER 10 MONTHS. TWO VIDEOS FROM HONDA HAVE BEEN RELEASED SO FAR WITH NO SOLUTION AVAILABLE.
CAR WAS PURCHASED ON 7/1/15. APPROXIMATELY 3 WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE, AROUND 500 MILES, THE VEHICLE BEGAN EXPERIENCING STRONG VIBRATIONS WHEN IN DRIVE GEAR AT IDLE (I.E., STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT). ENTIRE BODY OF CAR SHUDDERS SIGNIFICANTLY CAUSING DISCOMFORT TO PASSENGERS AND NAUSEA IN SOME CASES. THE PROBLEM TYPICALLY BEGINS AFTER DRIVING THE CAR FOR 5-10 MINUTES, AND WORSENS THE LONGER THE ENGINE HAS BEEN RUNNING. HONDA SERVICE SAYS THAT THERE IS NO KNOWN FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM, AND DEALER REFUSES TO PROVIDE A REFUND.
THE CAR VIBRATES AND SHUDDERS DURING IDLE AT STOPS, AS WELL AS ACCELERATING AND DECELERATING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS--DURING THE SHUDDER CYCLE, IT FEELS LIKE THE ENGINE COULD SPUTTER OUT BUT IT CYCLES BACK. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A NEW VEHICLE. HONDA HAS BEEN AWARE OF THIS DEFECT AND IS NOT DISCLOSING IT TO NEW BUYERS, AND DOES NOT HAVE A FIX. DEALER SAYS OH YEAH, THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE, AND HONDA IS WORKING ON IT. THIS IS AN ABOMINATION; THE CAR SHOULD NOT BE CONTINUED TO BE SOLD AND OWNERS SHOULD HAVE A REMEDY.

TOOK IT BACK TO HONDA DEALER AND THEY DID SOME TESTING ON IT AND FIND OUT THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM BUT DIDNT FIX THE ISSUE BY SAYING HONDA DONT HAVE ANY SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM AND HONDA IS WORKING ON SOLUTIONS ALSO SAID THAT HONDA IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM.
WE HAD BOUGHT A BRAND NEW HONDA CRV FROM O DONNEL HONDA IN ELLICOTT CITY (NEAR BALTIMORE). WE HAD ADDED AN ACCESSORY OF A REMOTE STARTER. THE DEALER INSTALLED THE REMOTE STARTER BUT IT IS NOT WORKING (CAR HAS TO BE TWICE STARTED AND RESTARTED). DEALER HAS TOLD US THAT THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEMATIC ISSUE WITH ALL CRVS WITH KEYLESS ENTRY. WE WERE NEVER TOLD ABOUT THIS PROBLEM WHILE BUYING THE CAR. WE CONSIDER THIS AS FRAUDULENT PRACTICE. I AM REQUESTING DOT TO PLEASE HELP US ASK HONDA TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. 2015 CR-V TOURING VIBRATES IN PARK OR DRIVE (WHEN THE CAR IS NOT MOVING). THE RPMS ARE ABOUT 550 TO 600 AND AT TIMES SEEMS LIKE THE ENGINE WANTS TO TURN OFF. VIBRATION OVERALL IS PRETTY STRONG, I HOPE HONDA FIXES THIS ISSUE. A/C CAN BE ON OR OFF, SAME ISSUE.

I BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER TO BE CHECKED AS VIBRATIONS INTENSITY INCREASED AROUND 800 MILES. THE DEALER DID NOTHING, DENIED KNOWING ABOUT THE ISSUE, AND NOTES: "CUSTOMER STATES THE CAR HAS A VIBRATION WHEN STOPPED AND FOOT ON BRAKE. IT COMES THROUGH THE BRAKE AND THE SEAT BASE AND THE BACK OF THE SEAT. CAN BE FELT THROUGH THE WHOLE CAR. HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE 450 MILES. VERIFIED CUSTOMERS CONCERN. INTERMITTENTLY WHILE IN ECONOMY MODE, WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP OR WHILE MOVING AND INCREASING SPEED THE ENGINE HESITATES ANYWHERE FROM ONE TO FIVE SECONDS BEFORE ANY INCREASE IN SPEED OR ENGINE RPMS. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND HAS CAUSED ME TO ALMOST BE T-BONED NUMEROUS TIMES. THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ON VARIOUS SITES ON THE INTERNET. MY DEALER SAYS THIS IS NORMAL BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF TRANSMISSION. OTHER DEALERS SAY THE SAME THING. THIS IS GOING TO GET SOMEONE KILLED SOON.

ADDITIONALLY THE SAME THING CAN OCCUR WHEN INITIALLY ACCELERATING. I FEEL THAT THESE ARE SAFETY ISSUES BECAUSE THEY ARE DISTRACTING TO THE DRIVER AND THE CRV COULD EVENTUALLY START STALLING OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION.

A FEW DAYS LATER MY GIRLFRIEND NOTICED THE VIBRATION SINCE SHE DRIVES IT DAILY TO WORK ON ONE OF THE BUSIEST FREEWAY (405). SHE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THE VIBRATION WAS PRETTY BAD &NAUSEATING. I DECIDED TO DRIVE THE CR-V TO WORK. I ALSO TAKE THE 405 FREEWAY AND AS WE ALL KNOW THIS FREEWAY IS BUMPER TO BUMPER AND MOST OF THE TIME YOU ARE IDLE. THATS WHEN I NOTICED THE VIBRATION. YOU HAVE TO DRIVE THE SUV FOR ABOUT 15-30 MINUTES IN ORDER FOR YOU TO FEEL THE VIBRATION. AS MENTIONED ITS VERY BAD &ITS NAUSEATING AND DISTRACTING TO THE DRIVER. I HAVE RECORDED MY DAILY DRIVE TO WORK AND THE VIBRATION IS DOCUMENTED...
STARTED CAR, PUT IN REVERSE, BACKED UP ABOUT 3 OR 4 FEET CAR TOTALLY DIED.
NEW 2015 HONDA CRV IDLES VERY ROUGH AND SHAKES THE SEATS EVERY TIME THE CAR IS STOPPED AT AN INTERSECTION, TRAFFIC LIGHT, OR JUST IDLING IN GENERAL. THIS IS NOT THE QUALITY PRODUCT THAT USUALLY COMES FROM HONDA CORPORATION! WE OWNED A 2002 ODYSSEY FOR 13 YEARS AND NEVER HAD A COMPLAINT OR A PROBLEM WITH IT OTHER THAN GENERAL MAINTENANCE. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND A 2015 HONDA C-RV TO ANYONE. I AM A CAR SALESMAN AND DEAL WITH MANY PEOPLE, AVERAGE OF 100 PER MONTH. MY DISAPPOINTMENT WITH THIS NEW VEHICLE ON A SCALE OF 1-10 IS A DEFINITE 10. SURELY HONDA CAN COME UP WITH A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM WHICH I UNDERSTAND FROM A LOCAL HONDA DEALER HAS BEEN REGISTERED BY MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE PURCHASED THIS 2015 VEHICLE.
VIBRATION ISSUE DURING IDLE
2015 HONDA CR-V: UNUSUAL VIBRATION AT STOP WITH GEAR SHIFT IN DRIVE MODE AND LOUD MUM SOUND WHEN DRIVING BETWEEN 15 TO 25 MPH SIMILAR TO ALL OTHER COMPLAINTS ON THIS 2015 MODEL.
STARTED CAR, PUT IN REVERSE, BACKED ABOUT 1 OR 2 FEET. ENGINE DIED.
VERY STRONG VIBRATION AT IDLE. VERY ANNOYING AND CAN CAUSE HARM TO MY BODY AND IT REALLY MAKES ME REGRET BUYING THE CAR EACH TIME I STOP AT A STOP SIGNAL OR AT A RED LIGHT. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH BOTH THE DEALER AND HONDA TO TAKE BACK MY COSTLY BRAND NEW CRV 2015 TOURING FOR A FULL REFUND. I HAVEN'T HEARD BACK FROM THEM YET.
SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING I NOTICED A ENGINE VIBRATION WHEN STOPPED OR IDLING. CALLED DEALER TO COMPLAIN AND THEY SAID THEY WERE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND THAT HONDA WAS WORKING ON IT. I WOULD NOT AVE BOUGHT THE CAR IF I WOULD HAVE NOTICED IT SOONER. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. THIS IS VERY ANNOYING AND DISTRACTING.
AT IDLE SPEEDS (AT STOP SIGN OR RED LIGHT), THE CAR VIBRATES. THE FRONT SEATS START SHAKING QUITE A BIT - THE PROBLEM GOES AWAY ONLY IF YOU SWITCH TO NEUTRAL OR PUT ADDITIONAL LOAD ON THE ENGINE (I.E., TURN THE A/C OR HEATER ON). READING VARIOUS FORUMS, THIS PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE WIDESPREAD. HONDA EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEM IN A VIDEO POSTED IN APRIL AND YET THEY CONTINUE TO SELL THE CAR. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO RETURN IT BUT APPARENTLY THERE IS NO "COOLING OFF" PERIOD IN CALIFORNIA.
SHORTLY AFTER I PURCHASED MY 2015 CR-V I NOTICED A VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN THE RPMS WERE BETWEEN 1,000 - 1,200 AND MY FOOT WAS ON THE GAS. THE VIBRATION DISAPPEARED WHEN I REMOVED MY FOOT FROM THE GAS. I ALSO NOTICED AN INCREASE IN THE RPMS TO 3,000 WHEN GOING DOWNHILL WITH MY FOOT OFF OR ON THE BRAKE AND A LOUD HUMMING NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE CAR DOES VIBRATE WHEN IDLING AT A RED LIGHT BUT NOT ENOUGH TO CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS YET. I ONLY HAVE 1,000 MILES ON THE CAR AND WAS ALSO TOLD BY MY HONDA DEALERSHIP THAT HONDA IS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND DOESN'T HAVE A FIX YET. I HAVE OWNED HONDAS SINCE 1986 (ACCORDS) AND HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED PROBLEMS LIKE THE ONES ON THE CR-V. I AM BEGINNING TO REGRET BUYING THIS VEHICLE AND AGREE THAT HONDA SHOULD...
WHILE IN LOW IDLE (LESS THAN 750 RPM) VEHICLE SHUDDERS WHILE IN DRIVE OR "S" GEAR. SHUDDER DECREASES IF CAR IS SHIFTED TO NEUTRAL, OR IF BRAKE CONTINUES TO BE APPLIED AND A BIT MORE RPMS ARE INTRODUCED BY TAPPING THE ACCELERATOR. HAPPENS IN EITHER REGULAR DRIVE OR ECO MODE. DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME, BUT IS ANNOYING WHEN IT HAPPENS.
MY HONDA CRV 2015 LX MODEL VIBRATES AT STOP, ALL SIGNAL LIGHTS AND BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC, ITS REALLY DISTRACTING THE DRIVE AND DRIVER. FILED A COMPLAINT WITH AMERICA HONDA, BUT NO USE. THEY DON'T HAVE FIX RIGHT NOW.
WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STOPPED AT IDLE WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL ENGAGED A SERIOUS VIBRATION DEVELOPS. AS THE VEHICLE SETS THE VIBRATION INCREASES AND THE RPM'S DROP FROM APPX.. 600 RPM TO BELOW 200P RPM. . WHEN THE RPM'S RECOVER THE VEHICLE PULLS AGAINST THE BREAKS. WHEN I REMOVE MY FOOT FROM THE BREAK PEDAL THE VIBRATION STOPS. YESTERDAY (5/19/2015) WHILE STOPPED, THE VEHICLE VIBRATED VIOLENTLY AND THEN DIESLED AND STALLED WHILE AT A STOP LIGHT. THE FULL STALL WAS A ONE TIME OCCURRENCE HOWEVER THE VEHICLE OFTEN APPROACHES A STALL WHILE STOPPED WITH THE BRAKE . THE VIBRATION HAS BEEN PRESENT SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IN NOVEMBER 2014. WHEN I TOOK IT TO GERMAINE HONDA, THE SELLING DEALERSHIP, IN ANN ARBOR, I WAS TOLD THAT THE VIBRATION IS A "CHARACTERISTIC" OF THE VEHICLE. THIS SEEMS LIKE A FLIMSY EXCUSE AND QUITE FRANKLY PROBLEM IS BEGINNING TO WORRY ME....
