I have replaced my struts and shocks three times and I am still having trouble with my stability trac
While driving my vehicle into the garage, I placed the car into the P(park) gear and the car continued to roll. I had to hit the emergency break to stop the vehicle. The fuel line keeps cracking although it has been replaced multiple times causing gas to be leaking from the vehicle even after filling the car up.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE JERKED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL FAILURE AND THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE RESET. IN ADDITION, THE FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE VEHICLE DETACHED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,973.
VEHICLE WAS PARKED OFF ROAD ON A DIRT SLOPED PART OF LAND. BRAKE WAS DEPRESSED AND VEHICLE'S TRANSMISSION WAS PLACED IN PARK, ALTHOUGH THE P INDICATOR ON THE DASH DID NOT ILLUMINATE. UPON RELEASING THE BRAKE, THE VEHICLE SLOWLY BEGAN ROLLING IN REVERSE. I DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL A AGAIN AND UPON LETTING GO THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ROLL BACKWARDS. I ENGAGRED THE PARKING BRAKE IN WHICH THE VEHICLE STAYED IN PLACE. I TRIED TO START THE CAR, BUT ENGINE WOULD NOT TURNOVER. I POPPED THE HOOD TO LOOK FOR ANY PROBLEMS AND FOUND THE TRAMISSION LINKAGE COMPLETELY OFF TRAMISSION. I MANUALLY TURNED THE TRANSMISSION SELECTOR ALL THE WAY FORDWARD TO PARK, RESULTING IN THE DASH P (PARK) ILLUMINATING. I THE SET THE LINKAGE BACK ON THE SELECTOR AND ZIPTIED THE LINKAGE AND SELECTOR TOGETHER TO MAKE IT HOME.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING AND WHEN MAKING A RIGHT OR LEFT TURN, THE VEHICLE MADE A LOUD CLICKING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CV BOOTS AND AXLE FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000.
*CENTER SEAT BELT STICKS WHEN LEFT SIDE REAR SEAT IS DOWN AND WON'T MOVE BACK TO UP RIGHT POSITION WITH OUT REMOVING SEAT BELT BOLT UNDER REAR SEAT.*TRANSMISSION LEAKING FROM LEFT OUT PUT SEAL.*REAR SHOCKS LEAKING-NOTICE LACK OF CONTROL REAR OF CAR ROUGH ROADS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND LOST POWER WHEN COMING TO A STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT OIL WAS LEAKING FROM THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE AXLE INTO THE TRANSMISSION, WHICH WAS CAUSING THE TRANSMISSION TO FAIL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
2013 FORD FUSION TITANIUM REAR SHOCKS ARE BAD AT 44,000 MILES. WHEN ROUGH ROAD IS HIT THE VEHICLE BECOMES UNSTABLE AND THE REAR END BOUNCES EXCESSIVELY. WHEN TRYING TO FIND REPLACEMENT OEM PARTS AT DEALERSHIP, THEY STATE THE PART IS BACKORDERED UNTIL AT LEAST DEC 23 2014. WHEN TRYING TO FIND AFTERMARKET REPLACEMENTS, THERE ARE NONE AVAILABLE FROM MAJOR MARKETERS. *TR
VEHICLE DRIVER WAS DRIVING ON A PUBLIC ROAD APPROXIMATELY 35 MILES PER HOUR WHEN A THUD WAS HEARD AND THE RIGHT FRONT OF THE VEHICLE WENT DOWN SIMILAR TO HAVING A FLAT TIRE. THE DRIVER STOPPED THE VEHICLE AS THE STEERING AND BRAKING WAS ADVERSELY AFFECTED. AFTER GETTING OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND SEEING WHAT HAPPENED THE DRIVER SAW THAT THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL WAS OUT OF ITS NORMAL CONFIGURATION WITH THE WHEEL AT APPROXIMATELY A 45 DEGREE ANGLE WITH THE TOP OF THE WHEEL POINTING INWARD TOWARD THE ENGINE AND THE BOTTOM OF THE WHEEL POINT OUTWARD TOWARD THE RIGHT. AFTER A TOW VEHICLE WAS CALLED AND PICKING UP THE VEHICLE, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE RIGHT FRONT ALUMINUM LOWER CONTROL ARM BROKE STRAIGHT ACROSS WHERE THE LOWER BALL JOINT WAS PRESSED INTO THE CONTROL ARM. THIS CAUSED RELEASE OF THE LOWER AXIS CONNECTION OF THE WHEEL SPINDLE AND...
MAKING A RIGHT TURN INTO A STREET. BALL JOINT SNAPPED LOOSE CAUSING CAR TO BOTTOM OUT. TOWED CAR TO DEALER AND THEY WANT TO MAKE AN EXCUSE SAYING THIS IS AN ACCIDENT AND WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER. NO ACCIDENT. JUST FAULTY PARTS. IT'S A SHAME. PROVIDED PICTURES TO PROVE NOT ACCIDENT..
