Car was checked for recall 15S34 and incorrectly determined to not have a problem. This recall deals with the gas tank cracking open. This car will pool gas on the ground under the car. Ford says since this was previously looked at, even if the determination was false, they will not take any action or help with it. Please assist - this is a known problem and should be repaired under the recall.
Unknown, I was driving in my wheel stop moving , it’s saying now power steering wheel, for my breaks, it keep saying check brake system
The throttle body failed. It is not available for inspection because it was replaced. While driving on a high-speed road, the engine felt like it shuddered, and the car lost engine power and would no longer accelerate. At the same time, the light shaped like a wrench came on. Our safety was therefore put at risk because we could now barely accelerate, and could easily have been rear-ended. The problem was confirmed and repaired by an independent service center. After doing the repair, the service center informed us that there was a Ford Customer Satisfaction Service Bulletin (13NO3) for this problem. We called Ford about this bulletin and were told that the Bulletin was limited to ten years or 150,000 miles, whichever came first. Even though our car is over ten years old, it only has 87,000 miles on it.

Driving on the highway in the fast lane, vehicle suddenly lost all power. A message on the car said “ pull over safely “. No prior warning of anything wrong with the vehicle. I managed to dodge traffic with my hazard lights on and came to a stop on the side of the highway. I inspected the car with no signs of anything wrong. I shut down the car and restarted. Everything came back on and was drivable. This caused me to look online, only to discover that other people are having the same problem as I have described. TOTAL LOSS OF POWER. This is a very dangerous situation to be in, not able to keep moving on a very busy highway.
My 2010 Ford fusion has no power steering and I believe a fuel injector problem. The service power steering message appears the engine light is on. I was told it had something to do with needing a fuel injector. This problem needs to be recalled ASAP
Lug nuts are all stripped or broken. Check engine light, check fuel fill inlet message, poor driving all around, lack of power. Brake calipers broke off and brake pads fell out. Power steering locks up every once in a while
My vehicle will no longer operate in electric mode. This is a major safety concern since there is no assist from the high-voltage battery powered electric drive motor. Upon accelerating from a dead stop, there is a significant lag before the ICE kicks in and provides enough power to move the vehicle.
While driving, the throttle body valve malfunctioned, causing the vehicle to rapidly lose power and go into an engine "safe mode." The check engine light appeared on the dash. I was luckily able to pull over to the side of the road. Restarting the vehicle cleared the error, but the issue continued to recur until I was able to get home. Luckily the sudden loss of power did not cause an incident, but as it occurred on the highway, a sudden drop in speed could have posed a safety risk, especially if it had occurred in inclement weather. There was a recall for the specific part that failed, but due to my model being a hybrid, it was not included even though it contained the exact faulty component. Speaking with Ford Customer Care confirmed this to be the case that my specific car was not included in the recall. I...
Car stalled at a stop light on [XXX] where the speed limit is 50MPH. My [XXX] daughter was driving and could not restart the car. When the light turned green she was stuck in the middle of the road and trucks and other drivers where riding right up to her at 60+ MPH before they switched lanes honking and flipping her off. She could have been struck and killed. Took to mechanic after I was able to get on-site and start the car. P1450 Unable to Bleed Up Fuel Tank Vacuum. Was told this is very common with this year of Ford Fusion and Ford knows of the issue. Why not a recall to change the solenoid and purge valve before someone gets killed if they haven't already. WHENEVER I PUT GAS IN THE CAR I HAVE TO GO EXTREMELY SLOW OR THE FUEL WILL "SPIT" BACK OUT ONTO THE CAR AND GROUND. THIS IS NOT A SAFE SITUATION AT THE PUMP.
Gasoline was leaking from the top of the gas tank down the side of the tank near the passenger side rear tire (opposite side from the fuel filler cap). This was first notice on 10/8/2023. The gas would leak when the tank was filled until approximately 1 gallon had leaked out on the ground underneath the tank. I put a container under the car near the passenger side tire to catch the gas. There was a strong smell of gas inside and around the car. We took the car to the mechanic who said the gas tank had a crack at the top of the tank. The mechanic replaced the tank with a used tank which cost approximately $514.00 total installed. A new tank would have cost approximately $1100.00 installed.
I noticed a gasoline smell coming from my car. After taking it in to be examined, it was discovered that the fuel tank had a leak in it - right next to the exhaust pipe. A disaster waiting to happen.
My vehicle is having trouble at first start after refueling the vehicle and I made a research and found that there is a recall for some same model of my vehicle that there is a problem with the purge valve. The recall number is 15S34. My vehicle is having the same trouble as mentioned in the recall but my vehicle is not listed as recall under the vin even though I am having problems. I have attached the recall document below that my vehicle needs.
Furl tank leaks and seapage. There’s a past recall yet dealer will not fix.
A few years back there was a recall on a fuel system part cause it would emit strong gasoline odor. Same issue has come back. Dealership states that recall was completed and they could not repair the very same issue without charging for it.
I believe it is the Fuel System Throttle Body. Yes it is available for inspection. While driving on the freeway at 60 mph, and on city streets 30 mph, the car suddenly stalled out. The wrench warning light came on for about 3-5 seconds, but the car was already stalling out. This was a extreme danger to myself and all other drivers in my vicinity. I plan to have the vehicle inspected. No other inspection has been done. Wrench Warning Light came on about 3-5 seconds before car stalled out power seemed to decrease as I pressed the pedal.
CAR CONSTANTLY HAVE BRAKES, STEERING, FUEL, AND AIRBAGS PROBLEMS
MY CAR IS LEAKING FUEL. I AM UNABLE TO PASS THE SMOG. I CALLED FORD AND THEY SAID THEY ALREADY 'INSPECTED' MY FUEL TANK IN 2016 AND IT WAS FINE SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO FIX IT NOW. THIS WAS RECALLED. IT IS EFFECTING MY CAR AND THEY NEED TO REPAIR IT. JUST BECAUSE IT WASN'T HAPPENING BEFORE DOESN'T MEAN THEY SHOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PROBLEM NOW THAT IT HAS HAPPENED AND MY CAR IS AFFECTED BY THIS RECALL. THEY ARE REFUSING TO FIX IT.
MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP WON'T DO THE OPEN RECALLED FOE MY CAR BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW IF PART IS GOOD OR NOT.. I WENT AND PICK UP MY CAR FROM THE DEALERSHIP THEY ONLY DID THE AIRBAG.. I WAS WONDERING IF YOU GUYS COULD CONTACT THEM AND LET THEM KNOW TO REPLACE THE PART.. RECALL NUMBER IS 15S34
AFTER MUCH RESEARCH I HAVE DETERMINED THE THROTTLE BODY IS FAILING TO FUNCTION PROPERLY IN THIS CAR. THIS PART HAS BEEN RECALLED ON NON HYBRID MODELS BUT NOT HYBRID MODELS, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE IDENTICAL PARTS.

NOT SURE WHY THE AIRBAG SYSTEMS IN THESE VEHICLES ARE PROBLEMATIC, BUT THE OWNER SHOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHARGES FOR REPLACEMENT OF THESE PROBLEMATIC PARTS. POSSIBLE NEW RECALL NEEDED. 2.) I TOOK MY CAR TO GRIFFIN FORD IN TIFTON GA FOR THE AIR BAGS RECALL AND THE FUEL TANK RECALL. THEY FIXED THE AIR BAGS BUT SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE FUEL RECALL. BUT I EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT THE CAR WILL BURST GAS OUT WHILE PUMPING AND GAS LEAK UNDER THE CAR. THEY SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT. I TOOK IT THE FORD PLACE IN TURNER COUNTY AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE CANISTER VALVE SOLENOID. BUT THEY SAID IT WAS A RECALL ON IT. I'M CONFUSED NOW I GOT TO BUY ONE AND PAY TO HAVE IT REPLACED.
CAR ACCELLERATION IS SLUGGISH/WEAK AFTER CAR COMES TO COMPLETE STOP. POSES REAL DANGER WHEN ENTERING TRAFFIC, ESPECIALLY LEFT TURNS WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC. PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPORTED BY SEVERAL OTHERS. IT HAS BEEN DISCOVERED THAT IN MANY IF NOT ALL FMC 4 DOOR SEDAN HYBRIDS WITH THE 2.5 LITER ENGINE AND NICKLE METAL HYDRIDE BATTERIES, OEM SOFTWARE STARTS TO DRASTICALLY REDUCE ELECTRIC VEHICLE OPERATION SOMETIME AFTER THE HYBRID WARRANTY EXPIRES. THE EFFECT OF THIS IS THE CAR'S ACCELERATION AND FUEL EFFICIENCY IS DRASTICALLY REDUCED AND AUTOMATIC PERIODIC BATTERY RE-CONDITIONING CEASES. I PURCHASED A NEW 2010 FORD FUSION HYBRID SE FROM A FORD DEALERSHIP IN FAIRFAX, VA. AFTER OWNING THE VEHICLE FOR APPROXIMATELY 9 YEARS, THE VEHICLE NO LONGER OPERATES IN ELECTRIC MODE (IT ONLY OPERATES IN GAS MODE). MY AVERAGE MPG HAS DROPPED FROM 37-40 MPG TO 25-27 MPG. I TOOK CAR TO AUTO ZONE THEY IMMEDIATELY FOUND AN ERROR FOR THE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. BROUGHT CAR BACK TO FORD WHERE THEY HAD ME LEAVE IT FOR TWO DAYS FOR THE TRANSMISSION TECH TO LOOK AT...
MY 2010 FORD FUSION HAD THE SERVICE POWER STEERING LIGHT COME ON WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY, AND THEN THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND THE SERVICE ADVANCETRAC CAME ON. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND EVEN THOUGH MY CAR HAS TWO OPEN RECALLS FOR AIRBAGS AND FUEL TANK, ALONG WITH AN EXTENDED ONE ON MY THROTTLE BODY, THEY CAN'T GET MY CAR IN UNTIL NEXT MONTH. I'VE TRIED DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY TERMINALS, AND REPLACED THE BATTERY IN HOPES THAT IT WOULD RESET THE COMPUTER AS THE CAR DOES NOT HAVE A POWER STEERING PUMP AND IS CONTROLLED BY A COMPUTER CHIP.
WE HAD DRIVEN TO A FOOTBALL GAME, WHEN WE RETURNED TO THE CAR IT WOULD NOT START. ALL THE LIGHTS WORKED, IT TURNED OVER PERFECTLY EVERY TIME, BUT IT WOULD NOT START. HAD IT TOWED TO THE MECHANIC IN THE MORNING AND IT STARTED FOR THEM. HOWEVER, AFTER MULTIPLE TEST THEY WERE ABLE TO GET IT TO STOP STARTING. CHECKED THE CODES AND IT SAID O2 SENSOR. REPLACED O2 SENSOR. CAR DIED ON MY WAY HOME FROM THE MECHANIC WHILE PULLING OUT ONTO THE HIGHWAY FROM A STOP SIGN WHERE VEHICLES ARE TRAVELING 60MPH WITH MY TWO SMALL CHILDREN IN THE CAR. TERRIFYING! I BARELY CHUGGED ACROSS THE LANES AND GOT THE NOSE OF MY CAR ON THE SHOULDER. I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND AFTER A FEW TRIES IT RESTARTED. TOOK IT TO MY REPAIR SHOP AND THEY REPLACED THE THROTTLE BODY. $600. VERY SCARY DANGEROUS SITUATION WHEN THIS OCCURS ON THE FREEWAY.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 117,000.
I WAS DRIVING 70 MPH DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND MY CAR JUST QUIT RUNNING. A FEW WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON AND I PULLED OVER TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. I WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE CAR AND MERGED ONTO THE HIGHWAY; THE CAR QUICKLY DIED AGAIN. I HAD THE CAR TOWED HOME AND WAS UNABLE TO START THE CAR AGAIN SINCE THE ANTI-THEFT LOCK LIGHT WAS ON. I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP AND I AM WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM THEM.
DRIVING DOWN INTERSTATE OR STREET CAR ORANGE WRENCH LIGHT COMES ON CAR GOES INTO LIMP MODE CLOSE TO GETTING HIT

FUEL TANK CRACK: NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V793000 SAFETY RECALL 15S34 THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE FOR THIS MODEL HOWEVER THE RECALL DID NOT INCLUDE MY VIN. THE RECALL INCLUDED 2.5 AND 3.0 LITER ENGINES MINE IS 3.5 LITER V6. I AM HAVING THE EXACT SAME ISSUE AS THE COMPLAINT FILED MAY 2,2019. NHTSA ID NUMBER: 11205410 VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER LISTED IN ORIGINAL COMPLAINT 3FAHP0HG2AR**** IF I FILL MY CAR ABOVE A HALF OF A TANK IT LEAKS OUT ALL OVER THE PLACE AND IT LEAKS WHETHER I'M DRIVING OR PARKED.
MY CAR IS HAVING TANK ISSUES. IT WILL NOT GO EVEN IF YOU PRESS THE GAS. IT BEGIN TO JERK THEN CUT OFF AND CONTINUE TO DRAIN MY BATTERY. IF TRY TO START WON'T STAY STARTED WAS TOLD IT WAS FUEL PUMP LEAKING. IT WAS BEING DRIVEN ON THE HIGHWAY BEGIN TO SMELL FUEL.
GAS TANK IS LEAKING. PER FORD- A RECALL FIX WAS DONE IN 2016 ON THE PURGE VALVE, BUT NOT THE TANK ITSELF. THE TANK ITSELF IS LEAKING. PER FORD SINCE THE RECALL FIX WAS DONR IN SOME CAPACITY, IT DOESN'T QUALIFY FOR THE REMAINING PORTION BEING FIXED.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD FUSION. AFTER REFUELING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT DETECTED A FUEL ODOR AND NOTICED FUEL LEAKING UNDER THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TOP PORTION OF THE FUEL TANK WAS RUSTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
