Consumer Description
Car stalled at a stop light on [XXX] where the speed limit is 50MPH. My [XXX] daughter was driving and could not restart the car. When the light turned green she was stuck in the middle of the road and trucks and other drivers where riding right up to her at 60+ MPH before they switched lanes honking and flipping her off. She could have been struck and killed. Took to mechanic after I was able to get on-site and start the car. P1450 Unable to Bleed Up Fuel Tank Vacuum. Was told this is very common with this year of Ford Fusion and Ford knows of the issue. Why not a recall to change the solenoid and purge valve before someone gets killed if they haven't already.
