TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A SOFTWARE PATCH UPDATE REQUIRED FOR THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO HEALEY CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP, RAM (557 NY-52, BEACON, NY 12508, (845) 831-1148) FOR THE UPDATE TO BE PERFORMED. AFTER THE UPDATE WAS PERFORMED, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT MOVE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT IT TOOK 10-15 SECONDS BEFORE THE VEHICLE WOULD MOVE FORWARD. ALSO, WHILE DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE OVER 70 MPH. THE CONTACT INFORMED THE DEALER OF THE VEHICLE'S LACK OF PERFORMANCE. THE DEALER STATED THAT DUE TO THE SYSTEM UPDATE, THE VEHICLE WOULD TAKE TIME TO BECOME ACCUSTOMED TO THE UPDATE AND THAT, OVER TIME, THE VEHICLE WOULD RESUME NORMAL DRIVING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE CONTINUED WHILE DRIVING HOME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF...
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE DID NOT RESPOND WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED AFTER A SOFTWARE UPDATE WAS PERFORMED BY AUBURN CHRYSLER DODGE (1901 GRASS VALLEY HWY, AUBURN, CA 95603). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
